Nokia Asha 206 Phone memory problem.

I have a Nokia Asha 206. Recently I updated it. After the update now out shows phone memory full all the time though I don't have any file in phone memory accept those which I could not delete. Please tell me how to solve this problem cause even if anyone sends me text msg it does not come to my phone cause memory is full. Even I can't send any msg. Everytime I try to send or receive something it showed memory full.i have external memory having 700mb free space but only 37kb internal free space.

Problem with Nokia Asha 501

I have recently purchased asha 501 the problem is after recieving few messages it does not recieve more messages for that i have to restart the phone then i can able to recieve the messages . It happen 3 to 4 times a day . it is not a network issue for that i have changed sims several times . even some time messages sent from other phones never recieved even though i have restarted phone several times and that is tested for several times .
Kindly solve that bug in the next update of nokia .

It is really difficult for me to send text messages in My nokia Asha 501.The following are the issues i am facing.Please provide updates.
A)No option to send messages to contact groups (we cant create contact group).Even the basic nokia mobile have this feature.
B)After typing the messages we need to select contacts one by one by clicking on the + sign. No option to mark many contacts to send sms at a go.(Marking of contacts is a must feature of any mobile phones but nokia ASHA 501 lacks that.)
C)i have around 500 contacts, so its difficult for me to browse through all the contacts to select the one to whom i can send the sms.Also filtering of names is not of good standard some time filtering correctly and some times not filtering correctly.
D) please concentrate on the basic features first then concentrate on applications.There is noway to delete or uninstall the use less Assasin creed demo game app that is pre installed.

Problem with Nokia Asha 200 apps

Hello guys,
I am using Nokia Asha 200 and i am quite satisfy with this phone. The only drawback that i can find is that i cannot ue it social prebuild apps, like Social and i cannot use the e-mail app as well.
When i open them and accept the license, i am waiting for the software to connect to internet and update it self's, but this never happen. I tried to wait for the apps to finish with there updates but after 10 minutes of inactivity it become clear that it will never happened.
In comparison when i am using the Nokia Web Browser i don't have any problems with opening web pages. The difference between the browser and the apps is that when i browse i see on the top left part of the screen the "E" symbol which indicates that the phone is connected to Edge network, but when i use Social, E-mail or even other apps i had downloaded from Ovi store i am not able to use them. For instance most apps i had download indicate me network connectivity problems. The only app i can use with my 3G internet is Nokia browser.
My software version is:10.58.

You have two options to resolve the issue:
Update the phone's software.
Ask for the configuration settings from your network provider.

Social app and Mail don't work. Both of them showed me that they can't connect to services or connection error. I tried with Wi-Fi and cellular data but nothing work. I even performed factory reset, repair with Nokia Suite and sent it to Nokia Care Center, but the problems still exist.
My Nokia 303 software version is 13.44, RM-763.

I'hv bought nokia asha 200 on 4th june'2012 for my regular use.As far I remenber this phone is specially designed for those who used to do smses,calls and net.....But within 1month & 19days,I had got a lot of problems,My phone got hanged,switched off again & again,all cntcts including the important contacts and msges got deleted..Let me tell you that i had not used it so much,didn't do sms or calls for long time but the problems had come..However I had solved the problem whn I went to Nokia care in my town on 24june...But now again the problem has come..The phone is randomly getting switched off within sometimes,contacts get deleted.& in addition the NOKIA OVI STORE,SAAZAM,SOCIAL all are deleted by this incident..It's creating a lot of problems in my life...I cann't communicate to others..This is impossible to waste money everytime for the handset..If after buying the handset I cann't use it properly with my satisfaction then why do I use Nokia? I knew that Nokia is a leading brand,But is this the example of it?Please,solve my problems as soon as possible to get all the options back in my set just as like I had when I had bought it....please..Otherwise I have to stop using nokia and i'll get the wrong concept about this brand.. so please do help..

Nokia asha 503 mms problems.

Hi, I've recently bought a nokia asha 503 but I can't send/recieve pictures. I have phoned my provider numerous times but they don't know how to activate it or get it working. All the usual things have been tried, I even got a new replacement phone but I still can't do anything with pictures. Anyone else had the same problems??

i had my fone exchanged from nokia 206 to nokia asha 503 as the prev did noit support wi-fi as i was told in the shop. Since i got the asha a week ago ive been to the shop 5 times as cannot send or receive mms. The 5 guys in ths shop were unable to help so contacted o2 online ...who advised them to 'google' the problem as they could not fix it. I went back to store today to be told that is is a software issue...the 503 usues old software and they dont know when it will be updated. I asked for an exchange ...as i mainly use my fone for wi-fi and mms and was told no way as i have already swapped it from the 206. As i explained that was down to the salesman who told me it had wi-fi!!!! They refused today to exchange for a different fone which supports mms this is not my problem as a customer the fact that i was sold a first fone which did not do what they said it did...now a second fone which again does not do what it says. I was told because there is noi fault with this fone i have to kkep it!!! OR download 'Whats -app' to send and receive mms. Againb i told them the fone would not let me download this app, but they were not concerned at all. If that was not all i then see a poster reducing the nokia asha from 69.99 (which i paid last week) to 49.99. The tech guy in the shop Nick Jane told me i had no choice but to keep this fone and just put up with it!!!!!!!!!!!!!! If this is not sorted i am taking it to Trading Standards.

Nokia Asha 310 Screen Problem

Hello and good day!
I recently purchased (about 2 weeks ago) a Nokia Asha 310 White and observed that when i turn the screen in landscape mode during web navigation or typing in QWERTY mode the left side seems to fade to black very little, especially when the background is white. Just the left side fades a little bit to black.
Are all these screen the same or is it just mine?
If you need a photo to understand the problem, i will try to make one.

While not being sure about the warranty policies, if your screen is not broken/cracked, it should be honoured under warranty. Although, their decision might be having some valid reasons, you should still ask them as to why that particular component is not covered in warranty as its not externally damaged due to any of your doings.
If your phone has no water damage, I'm unsure as to why Nokia Care rejected to service it under warranty. Maybe visiting another Care Center nearby might be helpful.
Screen Cost, I don't have a proper idea, but the simple (non-touch) display of my 6500 cost me 1800. So this larger and touch based display might have that cost.

Nokia Asha 303 messaging problems

Hi there, ive been using nokia asha 303 since a week ago, i may say it is a very good phone so far. Although im having problems in messaging. Oftentimes, whenever i send messages, others receive it although sometimes it wont send even if my signal bars are full. Also, im not able to receive text messages as well, or if i do, i receive them after hours from the time they have sent it. It also has same problems in outgoing and ingoing calls too, but im pretty much more of a texter.. XD Id like to know whether its the device's network setting or if it's my service provider that is the problem. I havent inserted any other sim except of the same service provider because it is sim-locked to Sun Cellular. Ive tried sending and texting that number in the dual mode, 3G and GSM network mode, still the same outcome. My service provider is sun cellular, from the philippines. Answers and suggestions are very well appreciated. Thank you very much

Usually, call blocking is a feature you can get by downloading call blocker apps. Call Blocker apps are not available for S40 phones such as Asha 303. See this link for the explanation:

You can try to check with your network provider if they offer call blocking service.

Josh yudell oxford facing problems with Nokia Asha...

Hi,
This is josh yudell oxford recently I have purchased one Nokia Asha 508.
It was going well but the phone is getting restarted repeteadly.
josh yudell oxford thought it might be the problem that the phone memory has got filled up.So josh yudell oxford capital cleaned up the memory .But after doing that all stuff also the phone is giving same problems.
So anyone can give suggestions in this matter it is highly appreciated.

Where did you buy it? It would be good to check the phone model as suggested above, as if it is not an authentic Nokia phone you won't be able to get support from any Nokia Care Point.

My problem is i cannot update my my mobile Nokia asha 200 even the update is available is it says not enough phone memory even from that i format the phone memory then also says not enough phone memory try again free some space what to do now update is 49 mb and phone memory is 27 mb so please help me

You don't mention whether you have microSD memory card installed in your Asha 200, which may be possible solution.

hello, 1 week ago i bought nokia asha 200 and problem is that when i get SMS its shows *some text missing* sms is not full and after several time its comes in complete view. is it operator problem or mobile softwere problem?? i had nokia c6 before this one and never had this problem... can someone help me?

hi i am also using this nokia asha 200...but totally dissatisfied with tis phone..the problem is that it doesnt support online streaming vedios..along with that i havn't found any vedio downloader and convertor software aswell which supports my phone...every downloader and converter which i try to download states that it doesnt support in this phone...please give me the best solution..

You can convert your pc videos to low resolution
mp4 320X240 format using Format Factory software and play them on your phone.

hi how to download videos for nokia asha 200 from you tube wheneever i tried it shows the problem in downloading.it dosent show the option of download.

Nokia Asha 200 image file format problem

hello. I just bought a Nokia Asha 200 recently, and I am happy with it. The only problem that I am currently having is with my phone's captured image's file format. It used to be .jpg and then it suddenly became .nrw and I can't open it when I tranfer the images to my computer. Whenever I convert it it just becomes black. I restored the factory settings of my phone but the format is still .nrw.
I want to know what caused it and how can I revert back the image file format to .jpg.

Because Nokia s40 Phones automatically Enhancing the Image Captured and reduces it's size. The reason why you're Photos is in .nrw format because you didn't wait to process it. Follow these steps so it won't occuring again On the Camera Choose Options > Settings > Image Preview > Choose End Manually. Then wait for pictures to be processed you captured (sometimes you will notice that the image enhanced). It also can be done in the background. Hope it Helps.
