Nokia BH-504 headset compatibility

Hello,
I would like to know if the Nokia BH-504 headset is compatible:
- with the Playstation 3?
- with a PC using the Belkin Dongle Bluetooth 2.1 EDR when listening to music or playing games (not just Skypeing)

Hy,
I recently bought myself Nokia Bluetooth Stereo Headset Bh-504 & a bluetooth device for my laptop. I got told there that i can connect those heatset with my laptop and my mobile, but i could not do that. could i get eany support/help why i could not do that, because my Quidelines clearly sayed " You can use the headset with compatible devices that support Bluetooth wireless technology." It works just fine with my phone, but I WANT IT TO WORK WITH MY LAPTOP.
Help me out in here pleace, or i will return those headset in a couple of days

Hold the multifunction key and then connect to the charger still holding multifunction key.

Headset Compatibility - Nokia N82 w/ Nokia 5130 He...

I wanted to find a simple wired non stereo 3.5mm headset for my N82 but generic ones don't work. At a T-Mobile store I tried the Nokia 5130 headset and it works perfect.
Anyone out there know if I can damage my N82 using this HS ?

Help!!! My Nokia N70 ME headset AD-41 play/pause/f...

My Nokia N70 ME headset AD-41 play/pause/fw/bw button won't work. I have tried to plug this headset in to the other N70 ME and it's work completely fine. Only on my N70 Me, I can still hear the music but the button of the headset won't work even though I have updated my phone firmware.
Can anyone please help me!!!

Right now I cannot think of other ways except upgrade the FW that I doubt can work it out.
I think you can take it out to a nokia care and express them the situation.

Even I have faced the same problem.................But I found out a solution, There is no problem either in your handset nor in head set...........the problem is the signals which is traveling in the wire of your headset.
Solution: When you handle your handset don't press any buttons and suppose you have pressed any buttons by mistake...........wait for at least 1 min or more..........and then plug in your headset into your handset and use it..............you have done with the problem.......if still have any query.......please let me know

Nokia 2760 with Headset BH-304

Hi!
I'm in Portugal and i bought the 2760 model with bluetooth, but i can't pair it with the new BH-304 Bluetooth Headset.
The phone works with my old BH-700, but not with the new BH-304, the bluetooth wizard does not recognize de headset.
Anyone with similar problem? Any ideas?

Does Nokia Monster Purity headset have warranty?

I purchased my Nokia Monster Purity headset in August 2012 from Amazon.com here in U.S. (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0074F5IH4/).
Unfortunately, the left speaker stopped working yesterday, and I tried to figure out if it is under warranty or not, but I couldn't find any information on Amazon.com.
Does anybody know if this headset has warranty and if so, how to go about the warranty process?

Whilst normally Nokia accessories included with device have a warranty for six months, it says 12 months upon the WH-920 box or at least it does for Euro 1 version!
Probably you will get nowhere with Nokia support as you can't give them an IMEI so maybe "Catch 22" situation.

W510 not compatible with Nokia 5800 XpressMusic headset (earpiece)?

Have anyone came across this problem? I have 2 of those headset and I tried both in my W510. When I played any music source, the sound is so diffused like as if it works like a surround speaker that only produce presence sound. To get the vocal, I have to shift the Balance to the extreme left or right. First time encounter such problems. However, other headset work fine with my W510.

did you update your phone to the latest firmware for your phone currently it is v30......but it just got released so it may not be avaliable for all product codes just yet. also is your phone unbranded./unlocked if that is the case then you have a better change of updating than with a provider.

No connection from Nokia BH-214 Headset to Siemens...

I'm no able to connect to a Siemens Gigaset S68H handset from my Nokia BH-214 Headset. Pairing works fine: on the Gigaset the headset is shown with the headset symbol.
But when I press the call button on the BH-214 nothing happens.
I tested the BH-214 headset with my MacBook and my mobile phone - no problems there. I also tried the S68H handset with two different bluetooth headsets - works like a charm.
Just the BH-214 does want to connect. Unfortunately with the handset I can't initiate a connection to the headset (not supported for some reason). But it should also work the other way of course!
What I tried:
- press once (short): one beep, green light is on for 2 sec, nothing happens
- press twice (short): beeps twice, green light is on for 2 sec, nothing happens
- press once (2 sec): long beep, high beep, green light shows once, no light for two seconds, then deep beep and red light flashing once (seems to indicate that no connection is possible)
It doesn't help to try to connect during an active phone call or when a number is entered on the handset.
Does someone have a hint what the problem could be? Did anyone experience any incompatibility with between the BH-214 headset and other bluetooth devices?
BTW: reset on both devices did not help...

I was having similar (DRIVER/BLUETOOTH PERIPHERAL ERROR) problems on win7 Ultimate 64bit SP1 with Nokia BH503 and BH214. Googled too much. Many solutions. But the solution I tried first, worked first and wonderfully, even for both my BT headsets and without even rebooting.
Solution: I found an earlier downloaded bluetooth driver from lenovo websites. Unfortunately I renamed the file, but still I can give you valuable info. Its a lenovo bluetooth driver file of 54,740 KBs (particularly for 64 bit windows, but works for 32bit also). Its installation dialogue shows 'Thinkpad Bluetooth with Enhanced Data Rate (i.e. EDR). Version shown is 6.2.1.800 (7ZBV14WW). I myself tried finding it on google and found very easily by searching for "thinkpad bluetooth with enhanced data rate 6.2.1.800 (7ZBV14WW)".
Hope it would solve your problems and get me the ratings

Since i've purchased my Lumia 1020 i'm looking to buy in-ear headset that has the capability to control volume / answer and hang up / microphone just like the apple headset.
But unfortunately in Australia no one sells Nokia compatible accessories and none of the headphones out there clams to work on windows phone.
I tried to get an answer from Nokia through twitter and had no reply.
All i want is a headset can do the features mentioned above for a reasonable price that would be great.

Nokia Pure View 808 Headset compatibility issues

I recently bought a headset from Philips (Citiscape Downtown SHL 5605BK to be exact) which says on it's box that it is compatible with all Nokia phones as a headset. However when I connect it to my Pure View 808 it says that it is not supported. What should I do? How can I make my phone support my headset?
The specs of the headset are as listed:
Frequency range: 18-22000 Hz
Sensitivity: 102dB
Impedance: 32 Ohm
Driver: 40mm

Got a suspicion that Philips (http://www.philips-shop.co.uk/store/catalog/headphones/headband/downtown-on-ear-brown/productdetail/... mean that their headset compatible with newer Nokia Lumia devices wired to AHJ standard rather than Nokia 3.5 mm TRRS (stereo-plus-mic) sockets. N80IE Problem with Nokia Remote Control Headset AD...

Guys,do you have this AD-41 Remote Control Headphone,found in N73 Music Edition Phones,on your N80? My problem is that, I cant remotely play a song by simply pressing the PLAY Button on it... But before I bought this headset for my N80 I check first the Nokia web site, its says that it is COMPATIBLE... Is there something missing? "The compatibility between your device and your hands-free is PARTIAL, sir.". What the **bleep**?!!... Yes, it's not fully compatible. You don't need any software or setup in the phone... You (and I) need light the Nokia's offices on fire...

N95 B/tooth headset compatability

Seems that dependent on where u look on Nokia site, there is conflicting info on BT headset compatablity. I opted for the BH-800 and lo, it dont work, it'll pair with my 6310i but not my N95.

generally the single ear BT headsets will work with few issues, the older ones often have issues in the compatibility of the BT functionality
So if you are looking to use an older headset it may work or part work.
Generally all the Motorola small usb plug compatible BT headsets work, I have used at least 6 different ones ov the last 6 months and all work.
Each handset has a different way of working with the headset some will engage hands free mode, some will engage bluetooth headset some will go into car mode etc
The stereo ones use blutooth 2.0 edr extended data range which requires a more refined level of compatibility, both of the headset, handset and more importantly the software and firmware driving them.
I suspect that as the prevalence of these kind of handests increases we will see more additions in revised versions of firmware as customer demands require more compatibility and versitility etc
