Nokia Big Screen has Small Resolution

Am using Nokia Phone Broswer 2 together with Nokia Big Screen for HDMI connectio to TV set. This produces low-resolution iamges on the TV screen, as if the phone browser choses a resolution for its own screen and is not aware of the Big Screen.
I suggest Nokia to improve the integration between these 2 apps

It's not possible to use BigScreen to browse the internet on a TV. It currently only supports videos, pictures and music.

"If you faced installing problems and you have "ODML commons repository" installed in Settings... Application installer, try removing that. It's a part of some old Maps Beta that stays on system persistently. Re-install Maps if needed."
I did this and now I can install Nokia Big Screen! Yay.

The middle section of my Firefox screen has small fonts. The left side has big fonts. I can't read my emails because the content is small

So when I click on contacts to add to an email they are very small, as well as the delte, next, move buttons. All the middle section of the screen. Left side is OK.

Reset the page zoom on pages that cause problems.

Start Firefox in <u>[[Safe Mode]]</u> to check if one of the extensions or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).

If you have increased the minimum font size then try the default setting "none" as a high value can cause such issues.

Make sure that you allow websites to choose their fonts.

Nokia N9 screen has a yeloow tint?

I just bought Nokia N9 but I see that the white color isnt true white like other devices
I opened Google page on both N9 and N8 , N8 has a better white while the N9 tends to yellow
However when i look at the N9 screen from corner , this yellowish tint is gone
Is my handset faulty or it is common N9 problem?

Yes, mine also shown a slight tint of yellowish, not too obvious to me until i don't compare it to other phone.

Nokia N95 screen has some flickering.

Flex cable should only be replaced by a Nokia Care Point. Trying to replace it yourself will involve disassembling the phone and we are not allowed to discuss that here.

Use Settings > General > Accessibility > Zoom and turn this Off.

Resolution seems a little low on big screen TV

I shot some video at 1920x1080 (30 frames per sec). I used continuous lighting to light my subject. ISO was 640. The final results look really good. However, after burning to DVD using Encore to prepare the DVD, the movie looks a bit pixely. It does not appear noisy at all (because of the 640 iso), just a bit mid resolution. I have seen sharper, higher quality video on my big screen tv when I view a movie or TV. My big scrren TV is 50"
Is this normal or have I exported the movie improperly from Premiere to get this issue? The export settings I used from Premiere were: Format:Quicktime, Preset:HD1080i 29.97, H.264, 48khz

Thank you for all the feedback. Really appreciate it. However, I am a newbie to Premiere and just discovered last night that to burn to DVD, I need to use Encore so I worked on learning that today. Most of the suggestions above are really a little over my head since I am so new to this. Basically, I shot HD video with 2 digital cameras - A Canon 7D and a Canon Rebel 3Ti. From there, I used Premiere to do all the editing of the video, added an intro movie at the beginning with a soundtrack from istock. I was a little unsure what to do once I had that completed. It did look quite good on my imac. From there I exported the entire thing as a Quicktime file, Preset:HD1080i 29.97, H.264, 48khz. Then I wanted to burn the file to a DVD so I could show my client. That is when I realized I just can’t burn away. So I did some research online and it looked like I needed to use Encore to do it. From there, I created a menu with buttons and it all seemed to work ok. When I reviewed the DVD on my big screen, that is when I noticed the slight resolution loss.
Can one of you give me alittle direction (simple language for the newbie) as to what I should do? The advice above is just a bit over my head. I do not have a blue-ray burner by the way. I am also concerned about going to blue ray just because some people that will be viewing this video may not have blue ray.

Double-tap the screen with three fingers, then go to Settings and disable the Zoom function so you don't accidentally trigger it again.
