Nokia browser stopped working

I purchased nokia asha 303 15 days back and after some days the nokia browser have stopped working so im using opera mini. If doesnt allow me to download stuff from other sites also.

Welcome to the Nokia forum.
If the default browser doesn't work, please connect your phone to Nokia Suite and click on the green arrow where all available updates will be displayed. An update will reinstall all default applications including the Nokia browser. After the update the browser will work.
If no update is available, you will be able to reinstall the current software. This option is displayed in blue when you click on the green arrow.

Cover Browser stopped working

After using iTunes almost without a hitch since the iTunes 7 upgrade came out, my cover browser stopped working and other odd behaviors have cropped up.
For instance, when I try to shift from list view to browser view or grouped view, the iTunes window becomes corrupted, almost as if it were trying to display two windows at once, sort of superimposed. And the Cover Browser view doesn't work at all.
If I minimize and then enlarge the window though (the only way to get it to un-freeze), I get a blank white box where the cover browser should be.
I have reinstalled several times, being very careful to remove all reciepts and preferences, and I logged in under a 'test' user and iTunes works fine there, but not under my own (administrator) user. Also, I can't for the life of me think of anything I've done to change my computer to make this happen. Any ideas out there? Thanks, your help will be much appreciated!

I have had the same problem. I get audio, but am unable to play any video within itunes. The video works fine on my ipod nano. Did you ever get this resolved?

I have installed Safari update - 5.0.6 and the browser stopped working. At openingit shows the following icon:

After deleting all plugins from the folder "Internet Plugin", Safari worked again no problem, BUT all sites with flash content (e.g.YouTube) did not work.
I then tried the following experimental steps:
a) Moved all plugins from the folder "Internet Plugin" into a temporary folder.
b) Downloaded and istalled Adobe Flash Player version 10.3.181.34
c) Started Safari and it did not work ( same message"TastyAppsAVPlugin")
d) Deleted Adobe Flash Player from the folder "Internet Plugin". Safari worked.
e) Moved back all plugins, except Adobe Flash Player, from the temporary folder to "Internet Plugin" folder. Safari works... But Flash won't work!!! Before update to Safari 5.0.6 , ev erything worked perfectly well.
Guys, please solve the problem

There are many threads on this. I typed "Uninstalling TastyApps" in the Google search, and came up with these:

I do not know which of the many TastyApps haxies you have. Perhaps it would be better to contact them directly, once you know which of their products you have.

Windows 7 - browser stops working still connected

As the title says Windows 7, browser stops working after some time passes.
This effects IE and Chrome. I can still ping www.google.com or it's IP address. (all other computers on the network are fine)
I've used both the wired and wireless connection without the same results.
I reboot and it works, I walk away from the work station and then boom no browsing.
I've turned off the firewall, released and renewed the IP, netsh winsock reset none off this worked.
I've gone into internet options and ensure that no "proxy' boxes are checked.
I've uninstalled the network card drives and restarted the machine.
I've ran Malwarebytes (no infections), ccleaner to check for registry problems. Nothing there.
I've disabled the power saving options and uncheck "let windows turn this device off"
I've also ran Norton and Mcgafee uninstallers just be sure there aren't any residue from those installed.
No bittorrent clients
So I'm online but can't browse on this one computer? what's the deal please Help!

I safe the application to desktop, run it, it tellsme the computer will turn off, it does, when the computer goes back on Mozilla is NO longer there. Which security software (firewall, anti-virus) do you have?
Some security software has virtualization features that may cause problems by protecting files in the Firefox program folder.
Do a clean reinstall and delete the Firefox program folder before reinstalling a fresh copy of Firefox.

8330 Browser stopped working

I installed the facebook app on my Verizon 8330 and then the browser stopped working with the following message:
Your device does not currently have any Browser Configuration Service Book Entries. Please contact your service provider to enable the Browser on your device
Of course, this had been working without problems until I installed facebook.
Any way to recover?

Re-send service books in your device.

Resolved:
An Apple Store Genius removed the plist file and allowed iTunes to rebuild. This fixed the issue.

Browser stopped working

Hello, I'm new.
I heard that you guys are rather helpful so I thought I'd give it a try.
As of this morning my browser has stopped working. (Both Safari and Firefox)
I'm on wireless btw, and I've never had this problem before.
but the applications are working fine, as my torrents and MSN are still going..
It's strange because my bookmarked pages are working, but nothing else.
It seems to take ages to load, then it just says it could not be opened.
Frustrating for sure, I'd really appreciate any input and help.

[SOLVED] Thunderbird "Open link in browser" stopped working

After upgrading to firefox 4, the "open link in browser" feature in Thunderbird
has stopped working. There are no error messages, nothing happens when
you click the links in emails. I haven't been able to find where to set the
command thunderbird uses for opening the browser.

Camera on Nokia N8 stopped working

Hi, a few days ago I accidently dropped my phone and since then the camera has gone weird. When I look at the camera the shutter is not there and it looks like I'm about to take a photo. Its almost like the shutter is stuck. When I go onto my camera app there is no picture and it looks like I am in a dark room when I am not, but the options, exit and ect show up. I have dropped my phone a few other times especially on worse surfaces but this time it has just stopped working and I really want to get it fixed as I love this phone. Many thanks

You need to get it checked by Nokia Care technician..as most probably it looks like an Hardware issue ...

Well, I guess I'm just as ignorant, cause I've got the same problem, same error Help please! In the meantime I switched to i-tunes.. very user-friendly!

Nokia Browser not working - Nokia 114

I have nokia 114. When i was surfing in Nokia browser(default), a message was shown to download new version (nokia express). During downloading/ installation, it hanged & now, when i am trying to open, no responce. I am unable to access it. I have nokia pc suite. But it has not usb port. & my pc doesn't have bluetooth. What to do now?

Okay lets try this if it works:
Compose a new SMS.
Type in - http://download.browser.ovi.com/ and either save it as draft or send it to yourself.
Now open this message. If its in draft, select on Options> View
Now the link inside the message will be clickable. Click on it to open the default page which will take you to the download page for Nokia Browser.
Download it from there, let it install
Hoefully it will work find after it gets successfully installed.
Let me know how it goes
If it doesn't work, maybe Nokia Care will be way to go.

Thanks for your post and welcome to the Nokia forum.
We are really sorry for this inconvenience.
In order to fix this issue, I would advise you to update again your phone via Nokia suite.
If the problem persists, I would suggest you to perform a hard reset. First of all, back up your data using Nokia Suite (Tools > Back up). Once your data is fully backed up, type *#7370# on the keypad. Default lock code is 12345.
The hard reset will dellete all your personal information, that's why a back up is very important.
If none of these solutions solves your issue. I would invite you to visit your local Nokia care point to get the phone checked. If it needs repair, it could be done there.

Nokia browser not working after update

I recently updated the nokia browser and now it's not working. When i try to use an app that uses the browser it attempts to use ovi browser but it's not compatible and it displays a message saying that the app is running but can't display. Anyone else have the same issue? And does anyone know a fix for this. Oh I forgot i'm using a Nokia Asha 303.

Thank you for your post and welcome to the forums!
Try to re-install Opera Mini using Nokia Suite, please follow this link to download it. If the application still does not work, you could reset your phone by dialling *#7370# followed by your security code (the default security code is 12345, unless you have changed it). Before reset, it's a good idea to back up your phone as it will remove all data on the device.
When your device boots up, restore your backup (remember to untick settings) and re-install all your applications from "my stuff" section on Nokia Store.

Anytime random strange behavior or sluggishness shows up, the first thing to try is a proper reboot:With power ON, remove the back cover and pull out the battery. Wait about a minute then replace the battery and cover. Power up and wait patiently through the long reboot -- ~5 minutes.See if things have returned to good operation. Like all computing devices, BB's suffer from memory leaks and such...with a hard reboot being the best cure. If that does not help things, then please describe more fully what is going on. "stopped working" is pretty difficult to understand. What exactly do you do? What exactly happens? Are there any error messages? Please remember that we can't see you nor your device, and therefore need your complete description to help us to understand.
