Nokia C# Problem with MobilePDF

I have attempted, unsuccessfully so far, to get MobilePDF to work on my Nokia C3. It downloads easily enough through OVI via cable, however when I attempt to open it I get the following error message:
"Application error, "security java/lang/securityexception Access denied"
I have checked numerous posts on the web, including Nokia, and have been unable to solve the problem. A prior Nokia post suggested:
"...go to the application (don't open it) then click options > application access> data access > add and edit data, Always allowed"
But, and I do mean but, that choice is in subdued font on my Nokia C3- it won't let me select it. As a matter of fact I can only select the "Not allowed" option. Any other option gives me the error message "Not available for this application."
Is there anybody out there with a possible solution. Thanks in advance.

Because I have your App in my C3-01 and it sure does work Fine, C3-00 Alays has much problem.
Maybe Try Restarting your Mobile, or redownloading it. Also Update your Device to its lastest FW.

Nokia 6210 Problems with using Edge (Internet Conn...

I have a Nokia 6210 phone bought from an authorized Nokia Care Center in Delhi, India two weeks ago. The software version on the phone is 3.08 dated 11-June 2008. It also mentions custom version as 03.08.c00.01
I am an Airtel Prepaid customer in New Delhi, India and had been using Mobile Office service on my prepaid number for some time. It worked perfectly fine for my Nokia 6233. On my current Nokia 6210 the Internet connection works fine for the first time through the built in browser or though any other application (like Google Maps, Gmail etc) which required internet and displays the sign signifying that the edge connection is active.
The problem is that once I close the application the standby sign for Edge network is displayed as follows and no matter what I am unable to use the internet connection on the phone again until I do the following
Restart the phone (which definitely isn’t a good option)
Wait for around 8-10 minutes after which the Edge on hold sign disappears and is replaced by which means that the edge is available
I found this out accidentally, but if I press the keys *123# which I typically use for enquiring balance, the on hold sign goes away and is replaced by the Edge available sign. after which things work fine.
Not sure where the problem is. I really doubt it’s got to do something with Airtel as the same number worked perfectly fine with my previous Nokia phone in the same area. In addition my wife’s phone (again an Airtel prepaid number) is working great in the same area. So either this has got to do something with the handset or the compatibility of the handset with the Airtel, New Delhi.
I have tried various sets of setting from the following sources
The wizard in built in the handset
Getting the settings from the Nokia site
Getttng the settings from Airtel Customer Care
But with all of them I am facing the same set of problems.
Wanted to check if anybody out you have ever faced a similar problem with this phone or one in a simlar series?

I suggest that you don't make permanent coupling between devices. Looks like Nokia modem is more responsive when you need to manually accept every connection at the phone's end.

Nokia n97 problem with adding last widget

Hi all,
After updating my software to v 21.0.045 i found my phone is working better than before with one exception. I can't add the last widget on the main screen. It can only let me change wallpaper?!?
I tried to reset using phone, using code, restarting a few times etc Nothing helped.
I even sent a message to Nokia helpline explaining all what has happened and they send me a silly email back with simple ""use "add content" in order to add widget to your mainscreen ""
Somebody help! If you know how to add the last widget please let me know.
Ps 1. I didn't have this problem with my old software

If you do it , do another soft reset , back up Contacts, Calendar and Notes ONLY (your settings can cause conflict between new and old software, which is why this is advisable) Dial *#7370# followed by 12345, then set up your phone again manually, a bit of work, but should get the phone working like new !

Nokia E72 - Problem with Lotus Traveler 8.5.1.3

I have 2 Nokia E72 correctly configured with Lotus Traveler that don't send outgoing the email...
This is my test and configuration:
a) Scenario with emails/calendar without contacts to sync
The devices work perfectly without contacts... ( I receive the emails, and I can send the email, and I can manage the calendar)
b) After that I sync my 5700 contacts from my Notes Address Book ( are them too much for my device?)
- First Device - The device don't sync all contacts and I can't send out my email
- Second Device - The device sync all contacts and I can't send out y email
In both case the email go into local OutGoing folder...and don't send to the server...
There are some problem with 5k of contacts on Nokia E72?
In the Nokia E71 all work correctly ....

So why don't you try to sync less contacts, and to see then, whether the problem is solved ?
Then it already helps you to identify whether or not the issue is related to the number of contacts...

Nokia 5300, problem with mic

Dont know what happened, got a phone of my friend but he problem is that the microphone is not working when talking to someone. For example, I have made a small test, phoned other phone and the other caller could not hear me, I heard him but I could also hear my own voice, is that problem with the microphone or something in settings. I have also tried recorging myself, no chance. Please help

It is definitely a faulty or damaged mic.
A nokia car point can repair it for you. Give your nearest one a call and they should be able to give you a rough estimate (it may be free if still covered by warranty).

Nokia 603 problem with touch

I have a problem with my new 603 device. The button at the most left bottom side of the screen which is above the green call button is not responding to touch and not functioning.
And to use any functionality at this location I have to swipe the phone.

is it original? I it is take it to nearest nokia customer care and they will fix it for free or replace your phone. Note: your warranty must be valid. It is usally valid for 12 months after use. If its not original, sorry next time buy original

Nokia E55 - Problem with "mobiTracker"

Hi everybody,
I have a problem with my E55. Recently I installed the some app on my device.
The name is mobiTracker. At first it was everything ok, but when I decide to remove this app.
It was impossible, I try also thru computer, but the same thing. I got the message "Cancel installation". Mainly, the problem is that this app constantly is trying to connect on internet. When I receive the SMS, automatically start on.
DO ANYONE HAS THIS PROBLEM, AND HOW TO REMOVE THIS FROM THE PHONE.

Although you would need to backup essential data first, you could always reset device by keying in *#7370# followed by 12345 (default Nokia lock code unless altered by user).

I am having problems with my social widget and CNN video widget. I factory resetted my phone and my social widget was lost. I tried even the beta version of social but I am still in vain. The beta version showed me some error code and unable to install error on phone.I uninstalled the current version and installed the beta version but all was error. Fortunately I got my current version back from update.
I unknowingly deleted something related to CNN from the application settings and the CNN video widget renamed itself to CNN Video apac. I tried many ways even installed the latest E7 version of CNN video but still in vain. I updated my phone. tiried to uninstall the CNN video application but it shows the error delete cancelled. What should I do..?? I update my phone regularly atill I'm in vain. Please help me dear friends..I want my phone to be as new as when I brought from the market..

possible sollutions:
1)
because you hard reset try again now and get the 1.2 and try install this
if will install succesfull then try the 1.3
(if install error is coming again reboot device take out battery, back on battery and switch on and try install again)
2)
if not install or either download third party facebook and done (forget about the social from nokia)
(the ones i mention if you want to try them are almost same as nokias social)

also the fb from google v 1.0 works good and is almost the same but not in qt

Hi, i have problem with drivers for 5800 in windows 7, all drivers except modem and cdc comms work, how can i update drivers for that, i have installed lates nokia suite 3.3 and newest cable drivers, i try drivers 6.x but then my 5800 is not recognized, what is the solution?

You can use the W7 x64 drivers from the 250 G2 support page. They have the 32 bit driver files too.
That would be for all but the graphics if your G2 has a Pentium or Celeron processor.
If your notebook has one of those processors, then download, unzip and run the graphics driver setup exe file from the link below.

Nokia E71 problem with New Firmware 410.21.010

I have updated my Nokia E71 (RM-346) to new firmware 410.21.010. It creating a problem with battery that drain out quickly. Before update, for normal use, I need to charge once a week. But after upgrade new firmware 410.21.010. It finishes in 24 hour for normal use. I have read article that I can not downgrade, just only to wait for next firmware. Have some one any solution?

I had a Nokia E71 running very happily on version 3 firmware. I updated the firnware to 410.21.010.
It worked fine until I switched the phone off and tried to re-start the phone. It stopped working.
It is my work phone. The messaage on the phone said take it back to my retailer. He tried to get it fixed but because Nokia say it is out of warranty I am out of a phone that is set up to use the Oki system.
It worked perfectly well until the software update.
It is now at my retailer waiting for me to collect.
This is very disappointing.
Especially as I am now considering not using a Nokia telephone ever again. Moreover, I am sure that Fair Trading would consider this matter very strange and might like ot investigate it further.
I want my E71 fixed for free by Nokia as it was working without any malfunctions until the firmware update - which was done after receiving notification from Nokia. I have not been able to use the Oki system for some weeks now and would like to contiue using Nokia. Otherwise I guess Nokia lose another customer to iPhone or HTC or Samsung. I await anyone's advice on this matter.

Nokia N95 - problems with Adobe PDF

Acrobat PDF was working right until recently and now it doesn't open. I've tried to reinstall it by using the N80 version (since both phones are S60 3rd) but it won't let me install since it says that the app is already installed.
I've updated to the latest firmware (12.0.013) and after restoring the memory backup from the memory card, Adobe PDF still doesn't work. I don't know if it would have worked without the backup restoration, but I'm not willing to try since I don't want to lose all my information in order to get PDFs back to work.
Is there any way to "reset" the application, so that it starts working again?

Nokia n80 problem with bluetooth

hello all
i have an n80 which i have given to my mother.
there seems to be a problem with bluetooth. i can connect it to my laptop by bluetooth and use the connection to browse the phone and transfer files but for some reason when i try to sync with outlook the connection always fails, all the time, no matter what.
can anyone think of any reason for this?
i have tried looking for firmware updates as i havent used the handset for 18mths but i cant find the pc cable so it wont identify the phone when i run a search.
any suggestions (apart from find the cable!) will be appreciated

Not being technically qualified enough on specifications of Bluetooth 3 all I can say is that Bluetooth SDP = Service Discovery Protocol seems to be absent fron N8, whereas it is present on say 5800XM and N97 Mini which appear to behave faultlessly with Toyota Bluetooth unit if this sheds any light.

i have updated my nokia 5130c xpress music with version v7.97. after updation i got that my music player's library updation speed get more faster then before but i have lost screen saver option and also lost power saver option. my music player also become unstable it take more time to change between tracks. net also gone slower. i request to nokia to release a new version of software with all the features like (screen saver, power saver and also with solution of all these problems).

Try the headphones in another phone or music player and see if they work and do the same with another pair on your phone this will eliminate if its the headphones or the phone you can use 3rd party headphones its ok,also check that they are fully inserted correctly you should hear a click noise.
