Nokia C2-00 : Connectivity , Messaging problems so...

I bought nokia c2-00 just 2 days ago (16-jul-2011). The phone looks nice. Just having 3 problems.
1. I can't edit gprs settings manually. And this phone is not receiving settings from "AIRTEL" (India) only. If I insert other operator's sim-card then ii's automatically receiving the configaration settings. But having problems with "AIRTEL"
2. During web browsing it's constantly showing "Full Memory".
3. I can't register my phone with nokia. I tried several time. Nokia is not sending me verification message to this phone.

I recently bought a c200 and was having problem with airtel gprs settings. I tried with manual settings but nothing worked. I restored to factory settings but the problem got more wide. Now i am unable to add manual settings aswell. It says memory full.
It's not an attitude....it's the way I am.

Nokia N8 photo browser, Messaging problem

Hey guys. Recently I got a problem with my nokia N8.
The photos I captures recently are not in the photo browser, but they are saved on my phone because I can find them using file manager app.
Also the new texts I receive are not in my inbox.

You could try removing the sim, reboot the phone without sim then go to settings> connectivity> Destinations> Internet and remove all your access points. Then turn phone off , replace sim and re-boot. Also try clearing privacy data in options in the browser !

when i'm connecting my nokia N70 to my laptop through data cable it is showing error popup like given below.

Connection message/problem?

I got a Nokia 5233 for my birthday a week and a bit ago, and I few days after I got it, I started getting this message;
"Connection Needed:
Connect to 'Internet' via 'VF AU Internet'?
Accept and set 'Use access point' to 'Automatically''
Everytime I unlocked it, this would come up;
it's been like this for about a week now, and I don't know how to get rid of it.

Do you want Internet on your phone or not ? If YES then accept the request once.. If NO then check for Access Points settings (Refer Pg. No. 94 of User_Guide ) and if any Access Points are defined then delete one-by-one.. Reboot the phone and check...

Last few days connection & messaging problem

The last couple of days I've had this problem pop up a couple of times. My phone will show full bars and 3G so no clue as to a problem but if I try to make a call it fails or if I try to send a text it will fail. I have to restart the iphone and then it will work again and I'll have a bunch of missed texts that pop up. This last time happened while it was charging and it showed that it wasn't fully charging then when I restarted it showed a full charge.
And I'm not sure if this is connected but the last couple of weeks I'll get off a call at home and notice that it says I'm on an "o" network then it goes to Edge then back to 3G.
I've had my iphone for over a year and this has never been a problem before. Any ideas? Is it related to 3.1?

Please tell me that it has NEVER been jailbroke. If it has never been jailbroke, here are some standard repair procedures:
First, try a system reset. It cures many ills and it's quick, easy and harmless...
Hold down the on/off switch and the Home button simultaneously until you see the Apple logo. Ignore the "Slide to power off" text if it appears. You will not lose any apps, data, music, movies, settings, etc.
If the Reset doesn't work, try a Restore. Note that it's nowhere near as quick as a Reset. It could take well over an hour! Connect via cable to the computer that you use for sync. From iTunes, select the iPad/iPod and then select the Summary tab. Follow the on-screen directions for Restore and be sure to say "yes" to the backup. You will be warned that all data (apps, music, movies, etc.) will be erased but, as the Restore finishes, you will be asked if you wish the contents of the backup to be copied to the iPad/iPod. Again, say "yes."
At the end of the basic Restore, you will be asked if you wish to sync the iPad/iPod. As before, say "yes." Note that that sync selection will disappear and the Restore will end if you do not respond within a reasonable time. If that happens, only the apps that are part of the IOS will appear on your device. Corrective action is simple - choose manual "Sync" from the bottom right of iTunes.
If you're unable to do the Restore (or it doesn't help), go into Recovery Mode per the instructions here. You WILL lose all of your data (game scores, etc,) but, for the most part, you can redownload apps and music without being charged again. Also, read this.

Nokia N8 Textmessages \Multimedia messages problem...

Some of my textmessages\multimedia messages has been moved to the 'Outbox' and displayed as: postponed.
And I cant get any choices with them.. cant delete then etc...

Connection lost problem while updating my Nokia As...

Dear All,
I face a connection lost problem while I am updating Nokia Asha 200 using Nokia Suite
I installed Nokia software too many times, and tried to repair it. Also, I used another USB cable, but the problem still happen
While it is installing the software, it suddenly stops and show connection lost to your phone.
When I try to restart and reconnect the USB cable, the problem still happen

please note that I tried again now, and when the messages for connection lost appears again, I waited for 5 minutes, and nothing happens
because it shows me to do steps, as follows :
1. Disconnect USB cable from phone.
2. restart your phone
3. reconnect the USB cable
4. Wait for the installation to continue.
and when I do these steps, the phone restarts in a test mode, all I see is a test mode message over its screen.
I believe that this is a fatal error which happens through the installation process and which leads to unsuccessful installation
I lost hope in updating the software of this phone, escaially I need to do so, because I face problems with these phone, which doing a hard reset even don't fix.

I hav amonth old nokia 5233 ,whenever i message more than 3-4 people it gets very slow......during that time i cant open another application.......

hey dude see that which memory are you taking in use..........
if u are using memory card than it will take as usual long time which is as said ur problem......but if u use phone memory as primary memory in case of messaging thn it wont take long time.................

Maybe you should test these things before calling people out, because these settings do function perfectly well.
iCloud is not supported on Snow Leopard or lower, why bother to mention it?
The OP has an iCloud account, and that can not be opened without Lion or Mountain Lion (on a Mac), IOS5 or 6 (on an iPhone/iPad)

Nokia N900 USB connection Problem

Hi,
Nokia N900 USB connection Problem.
I am very embarrassed to admit this but.......
I removed something (I cannot remember what) and now when I connect my Nokia N900 to my pc using the data cable it starts charging only.
Previously I could choose between "mass storage" mode and "PC Suite" mode.
Now I cannot access any files on my phone from my PC.
can anyone help please?

Connection Message Archiver problems

Hoping someone can help.
I'm attempting to capture voicemail messages from multiple users. I need to preserve message headers and voicemail messages.
I've downloaded and installed the Unity Connection Message Archiver program from http://www.ciscounitytools.com/Applications/CxN/MessageArchiver/MessageArchiver.html
I followed all the step for configuration.
I can login and search for and select a mailbox or messages for archiving.
However, when I click the "Archive", I see the processing message, but then it reports an error.
Here is the error from the log file: "Failed establishing IMAP connection in the ConnectionMessageBackupFunctions constructor:Failed to attach to Connection server on port 7993 for IMAP login in AttachViaImap"
I've attached the full log file.
I've verified that the IMAP service is running. I've also followed all troubshooting steps found here: http://www.ciscounitytools.com/Applications/CxN/MessageArchiver/Help/MessageArchiver.htm
Can anyone point me in the right direction.

Need help: Nokia E63 - Putting "Draft" messages to...

Hello everyone I have a Nokia E63 which my mom gave to me 'cause my 5610 was broken. (R.I.P 5610) so she gave me this phone, but before my 5610 broke, I backed up my saved messages (using ovi suite). Those are very important messages.
So when I backed it up, then my phone broke, then I got the E63, and I saw there are no "saved messages" instead there are "My Folders". And Inside that there's a "Template" folder just like in The saved messages folder. Then I opened Nokia OVI suite, I run the backup of the 5610, and surprisingly it stored the messages. But the messages inside "Saved Messages" was put to the "drafts" folder of my Nokia E63.
So here's the problem. I tried to "Mark All" of the messages in the drafts, then Options, but there was no "Move to folder" or "Move" .. So I created a new folder in "My folders" then I tried marking all again, but there was no "Move" option. So my problem is I need to move those messages in the "Drafts" to "My folders" because THOSE are not drafts and It looks dirty when I see it in my drafts so I wanted to move it to a folder.
Help please? I have searched google but there was no problem like mine.. So I really need your help guys.

Have you checked the Message Centre number? Contact your service provider to obtain the number, and then update it in Messaging -> Options -> Settings -> Text message -> Message Centres.
Did you try a SIM from another Service provider? If the new one works, contact your service provider for help.
You can try these steps one by one, if the steps above do not help:
1. Turn off your phone, leave your battery and SIM out for 5-10minutes and put everything back in and turn it on .
2. Restore factory settings: type *#7780# at the standby screen. Enter 12345 for the security code or the one you've changed it to.
Before you try the next two steps, backup your phone memory using PC Suite.
3. Soft reset: This will clean up your phone memory. All user data, applications etc stored in the phone memory will be destroyed. Type *#7370#. Enter the security code when prompted
4. Hard reset: This is the last resort. Turn off your phone, press and hold down these keys: 3, * and the call (Green) button. Turn on your phone without releasing them. Leave the keys only after you see the region selection screen.
5. Reinstall the firmware: Download and install the latest Nokia Software Updater from the Nokia website. Connect to the internet, connect your phone to the PC and run NSU. Follow on-screen instructions carefully. Make sure you have a full battery and a stable PC before you proceed.

Nokia 2700 Classsic Picture SMS Problem

I'm using Nokia 2700 Classic. I've a problem with Picture SMS. When I receive a Picture SMS and I wanna forward it as Picture SMS the cell phone make this sms as MMS and I can't send it as SMS. And my service provider charges for MMS. While in Picture SMS it contains equals to 3 text messages. & Nokia 2700 Classic creating a problem for me. Kindly solve it.

Hi and welcome. The 2700 is supported by Nokia Suite. After sync of the SMS's to the suite, they can be exported from the suite as a .csv file to use in other programs.

It may also be possible to transfer the SMS's from the old phone to a new phone via Bluetooth (Connection -> Data Transfer -> Phone Change) but that option may not apply to the 2700 and your new phone.

I have the following problem. 2 days ago I updated my Nokia Suite with a new version ... Everything went smooth, but, when I tried to connect my phone (both E6 and C5) the suite displayed an error message saying that the phone is not connected in PC Suite mode ... I checked the setting on both phones and both were in PC SUite mode.
I emailed the Nokia support and they suggested me to reset the phone to factory settings ... I did it, but the problem still persists ... Then I tried to reinstall the Suite ... But without any result ... I still cannot connect the devices to Nokia suite.
Any suggestions on how to solve this issue? Are there others that are experiencing the same issue?

- Which Windows version and which Windows Service Pack do you have installed?
After that, please try following:
- First, disconnect both phones from your PC.
- Then reboot your PC
- When PC has started again, start again Nokia Suite
- Try now connecting your phone in PC Suite mode to your PC via USB cable
- Does Nokia Suite now connect to your phone?
If that didn't help, try following:
- Disconnect your phone from PC
- Go into WIndows Control Panel
- Search there installed programs
- Uninstall Nokia Connectivity Cable Driver
- Restart your PC
- When PC has restarted, please run again Nokia Suite installation package (available from www.nokia.com/nokiasuite) and choose repair option
- After Nokia Suite installation has completed, try connecting your phone again to your PC.
- Does Nokia Suite now connect to your phone?
