Nokia C2-00 H264 Video Support

I've converted mp4 vid
eos to 3gp with this option using ffmpeg
h264 video codec, profile constrained baseline, level 1, 176x144 resolution, bitrate 128k, 15 FPS
video quality is impressive the only problem, is that the video stop playing randomly on my nokia c2-00 v3.99, mpeg4 didn't have a problem like this, but i want to used h264 as it has a better picture quality than mpeg4 in a lower bitrate, hope nokia will make some improvements in h264 playback for nokia c2-00

There you go …
It should be printed on the microSD: 4, 6, 10. If not, it is a 2. Then, you should try a faster one (4 or 6). Nevertheless, could be a software bug in the Nokia C2-00. I have given-up on H.264 and went for MPEG-4 Simple-Profile.

Nokia Windows media video support any program to watch.

Is this one of those puzzles that you have to arrange the words to make a sentence?
Can you give us a bit of basic detail such as what phone you have?
If you are asking what program you need to watch WMV files then the answer is none. The only phones that support this are some of the newer FP2 models like the N96 & N85. For older models there is no software that lets you watch WMV's.
If thats not what you are asking then please try to explain in more detail exactly what you want.

Are you talking about purchasing full-length movies for download?  Here's one site: Amazon.com - you have to download their PC software downloader/player first, and then transfer movies to your 5800.  To get started, go to their download page for Video on demand.
Buy or find free movies, download using the Unbox Video Player, and then transfer to your 5800 XpressMusic.  For help on transferring videos, go here.
BTW, this information is from the promotion that I received when I purchased my 5800 earlier this year - there was an offer for US$50  in free movie downloads with purchase.

  • Encoding H264 video

    Hello, all,
I have been trying to write a proof-of-concept application: a
simple video player that plays a H264 video.
Everything works fine when I feed the player a .FLV file, but
    H264 doesnt do anything.
My test device is a Nokia N95 8GB.
    1) If I am correct then the N95 can play H264 files right?
    2) Am I encoding the video wrong? Tried Quicktime export
3ggp, 'mpeg4', and tried Adobe Media Encoder etc. What are the
    correct settings?
    3) any other reason why it wont play?
    Thanks
update: I do get an error message "Problem with content:
    4"

    Hi rockdeman,
To use the h.264 codec you should cannot current use FLV as
the wrapper. Flash Lite does come with support for playback using
on-device codecs as well so you can use the native format with some
    limitations.
You can play back mp4 files using simple http progressive
download, or use rtsp and 3gp to stream a video encoded in h.264.

  • Problem exporting Premiere Pro CS5.5 projects with still photos and h264 video

I'm a longtime Final Cut Pro user and evaluating Premiere Pro for my workplace before making the switch. I have been running into several problems when I try to export raw h264 video from a Canon 5D combined with still images on a Macbook Pro. Either I receive an error in Premiere Pro saying, "Error compiling movie. Unknown error." or Adobe Media Encoder appears to continue exporting (the time elapsed bar continues to move) even though the time remaining stays frozen once it hits a photo it doesn't like. It's not always the same photo.
I've spent several days trying to troubleshoot the issue, including batch resizing all photos to 1920 wide (to match the video settings), and it hasn't work. The sequence is currently set to render in ProRes 422. I've also tried HDV 1080p30 and MPEG-4. I cannot find any consistency with the errors. Occasionally an export will work, but every couple still photos will look like green static. I've also tried batch converting the photos in Photoshop to PNG and GIF without any luck. I'd include my default export settings but I've pretty much tried it all. I'm just trying to figure out what's causing the error since the message is very vague.
    Couple other notes:
There's plenty hard drive space available for export
I can export the DSLR video (h264, 1080p30) without still photos no problem
I can edit the same still photos and video in Final Cut with no problem
I have the same problem with auto-save on and off
I tried re-installing production premium, deleting the preference files and cleaning the media cache - no luck. I also tried exporting under a different user account and it wouldn't work.
This is driving absolutely crazy. I'm affraid to use PP on deadline because I don't see any issues until it's time to export. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Thanks Todd. Your questions were actually very helpful. I'm using a Macbook Pro with an Intel Core i7 processor and NVIDIA GeForce GT 330M graphics card. I'm running OS 10.6.8 and have the latest updates installed.
When I disabled the GPU acceleration, I was able to render and export without a problem. The problem only occured when using the GPU acceleration and mixing h264 with still photos. It also affected both rendered previews and the final export. I'm assuming its a support issue with the graphics cards, but it would be great if you had any other ideas. I appreciate your help.

  • QuickTime SDK Reading MPEG-2 Container W H264 Video

I am interested in using the QuickTime SDK to develop a player app. The video file I have is H264 video in an MPEG-2 Program Stream container. QuickTime does not recognize this file. How do I use the SDK to play this file?

Like many people here I have QT PRO (on Leopard) and the MPEG-2 Playback Codec (Version 6.4.1) installed. When I record from TV via Cable or DVB-T I always get a MPEG-2 Transport Stream.
I may be wrong, but I don't believe "true" transport streams have ever been supported by the QT MPEG-2 Playback component and, by extension, would not be supported by either the Finder Preview or QuickLooK.
When you have selected in Finder to show the Preview of a file it will go for a long cup of coffee when it comes to selecting a .m2v or MPEG Transport Stream file, i.e. the Finder crashes.
M2V/AIFF elementary stream files, "muxed" MPEG (MPEG2/MP2 or MPEG2/MP1), and MOV (MPEG2/any compatible audio) all play fine for me in both the Finder Preview and QuickLook. The only problem are VOBs whose video content play fine in the QT Player but have to have their extension changed to MPEG to play in either the Finder Preview or QuickLook. Frankly, I am unable to duplicate your problem except for "true" MPEG-2 Transport Streams, which, as I previously said I don't believe have ever been QT compatible.

  • Advanced Video Support

Hello all, I have a nokia E71 and a nokia E72.. my nokia e71 firmware version is 501.21.001.. I want to know if Nokie E71 supports advanced video support like embbeded video support on forums or other websites such as internet chat room / video chat rooms?
Though I tried but it gives Loading message but does not load fully.
Any help will be helpfull !

    Brian,
The short answer is YES. The longer answer is, it depends. Many mfgrs. use AVCHD pretty liberally, and freely make changes to the format. Most work well, but some do not. Mostly, one will encounter issues with the FPS and Interlaced or Progressive.
Which camera do you have, and what are the full specs. of the AVCHD files produced. Those answers will tell the tale.
    Good luck,
    Hunt
PS - for AVCHD, one needs tons of CPU horsepower - no way around that. If you do not have fast Quad-core, or better, a fast i7, forget it.

  • No video support with iPad lightning-VGA adapter (iOS 8.3)

Just subscribed to HBO NOW and bought a lightning-to-VGA adapter ($55!) to watch HBO on my computer monitor (no HDMI, only VGA) from my iPad mini. Worked fine on iOS 8.2, but then when upgraded to 8.3 I could no longer get video support. Still have iOS 8.2 on my iPod Touch, and when that device is connected to my computer monitor, I can watch HBO (and Netflix). So obviously 8.3 no longer supports video with a lightning-to-VGA adapter. Is Apple aware of this? Will there be a fix soon?

I had the same problem with an iPad Air 1 once I upgraded to ios 8.3. Following several suggestions online, I did the following:
    1. Via iTunes Store app, I logged out.
    2. Settings, General, Reset (all the way at the bottom), Reset all Settings (this doesn't remove any data/apps/etc, it just resets all the iPad settings.
    3. Did a Hard Reboot (hold down power and main button until iPad shuts off).
Once I turned it back on, now I could use the iPad via lightning adapter to watch video on a TV.

  • Does Nokia Pc Suite 6.8 support N07 mini

Does Nokia Pc Suite 6.8 support N07 mini

The new version has updated the Music Manager but has changed some important features like being able to see how big the selected music files are. This is definately needed.
Better support for automatically converting MP3's to AAC which is a space saver for memory.
One problem I am having is that once you initially connect the phone it installs both pc suite support and sms support to the handset, however, this only happens on the initial connection. Any idea of they will make these support sis files separate if one wants to use more than one handset with PC Suite?

  • H264 video published with FP11 to FMS4.5 not playing anywhere else

I have created an swf where I can record the webcam picture as H264 video to a FMS 4.5 (I am using the developer version).
My code is looking like this:
    var h264Settings = new H264VideoStreamSettings();
    h264Settings.setProfileLevel("baseline", "1.2");
    stream.videoStreamSettings = h264Settings;
    stream.publish("mp4:mystream.f4v, "record");
I can then replay the video from FMS just fine, but if I try to copy the video from the FMS application directory into a local project and try to play the video with the FLVPlayback component, or with the Adobe Media Player, it is not playing at all.
Is this to be expected? Can't I record a webcam video with FMS in H264 and use that video later without FMS?

This migth be expected. H.264 files recorded on FMS might default not play in other players - they would be need some post processing. You can download the tool ADOBE F4V POST PROCESSOR from here:  http://www.adobe.com/products/flashmediaserver/tool_downloads/ . Once you process the file using this tool - it should be playable.

rexcze wrote:After pacman -Syu it will be replaced by version from testing so I need it to be "underlined" in the "extra" version
Actually, I think that for pacman, the versions from [testing] are a "low priority". What I mean by that is that it won't use a version from the testing repository unless specifically told so (pacman -Sy testing/foo)... So doing a pacman -Syu won't replace the version from extra with the one from testing

  • Encore CS6 always transcodes 1440x1080 h264 video imports

If I encode an interlaced 1920x1080 files with x264 I can import it into encore and it will not transcode. If I import a 1440x1080 file into encore it always wants to re-transcode. The only clue I have is that it does not get the pixel aspect ratio right and I have to force it to be 4:3. Unfortunatly Encore does not re-evaluate for transcode when I do this. If I import the file into premiere pro the correct par is detected. So there seems to be a difference between how premiere and encore determine the par.
The file is a raw h264 video 1440x1080i50 with the sar set to 4:3.
If I use the premiere pro encoder that works correctly. Please can someone tell me how I can correct for this problem. I want to use x264 as it is the most superior encoder on the planet.
    Regards Trevor

Please note the tool I used was h264info to fix the file.
I did try the revert to original but that did not work.
