Hey nokia c2-00 V03-99 developers,i am tired of my beautiful nokia c2-00 internet connection,i reinstall 3 or 4 times using nokia suite but the device completly unable to connect applications to the internet.please nokia need to help resolve the problem.thanks

I have installed moneycontrol application on my nokia N8. it worked fine for few weeks but now whenever i am trying to connect its showing me "Error Script: No internet connection" and then stops working. Although i am able to connect to the net. Applications like snaptu, ovistore are working fine.

If you are behind Corporate Proxy and Firewall then you may have to give Exception to Adobe URL and IP Address along with Port 80 and 443.
If you are at Home then please try this step:
Please rename OOBE folder from this location to OOBE.old
Win:
C:\Users\(Your Username)\AppData\Local\Adobe
Mac:
~/Library/Application Support/Adobe
Once done then try again to Launch and login to CC Desktop App.
if you still get the issue then disable the Software Firewall if any and check.

Nokia N8 permanent internet connection

I have a problem with the 3G internet connection on my Nokia N8. Once it is connected via 3G, this connection stays active forever.
If I try to close the connection in Connection manager it starts again within a couple of seconds.
The widgets is set to offline mode.

Do you have email widget on the desktop ... no matter that you have widgets to offline setted my yahoo account kept connecting .. do you have email widget setted to auto sync?

Nokia C65 does not show me which Internet connecti...

I have a Nokia C65, and, to this day, I am not sure what operating system does it use, how do I check?
What worries more than this is that I have configured different connections including a WAP connection - provided by my telecommunications operator - Go plc, and, a number of WLAN connections configured so that when I am at the hospital, at home, at work - usually sitting on the loo , and, at a few places where WiFi is available - I can browse, check my email and keep on working.
The problem is that I receive bills from my mobile phone operator who would have deducted data roaming charges to my account, and, I am not sure how to control the connection that the mobile phone is using when browsing the Internet. Sometimes I am prompted, but lately I am not. However, the Internet connection setting reads 'Ask first'.
Does this issue happen to anyone else, or is it just me who is weird?
By the way any idea where do I download an application which takes screenshots from my mobile phone?
Is there a PC emulator for Nokia C65?

Nokia suite does not recognize my Internet connect...

My Nokia Suite doesn't recognize the Internet Connection available with my desktop. Though I'm able to access the internet, my suite says "No Internet Connection Available". Any pointers to resolve this?? Plz help

Nokia 1020 - any way to get an internet connection...

There doesn't seem to be any way to get networking via BT.
As a possibly separate issue, I can connect to my Nokia 808 over BT and they pair up OK, but the 1020 doesn't see any network, dial-up or any other service like that in the 808.
Every windows laptop and even a win8.0 Lenovo tablet can connect to the 808 over BT, and all but win8.x devices can also do it over wifi (Joikuspot). Why can't the win8.1 Nokia phone do this?

In that case, what methods *are* available on the 1020 for getting an internet connection, other than using
- built-in GSM/3G/4G, or
- built-in WIFI (infrastructure mode only)
Can one do it via USB?
Why is adhoc WIFI or bluetooth insecure, for a personal temporary internet connection, from another device, used typically while travelling and used to make sure that roaming costs are contained within the one device on which there is a decent roaming data package?
Currently the only way I see is a 3G-WIFI modem (e.g. the E585) with a locally puchased data SIM inside it, but such deals are available only in some countries in Europe. They also tend to be really difficult to purchase e.g. in Greece you spend an hour or two in a phone shop, proving your identity with a passport and other documents.
Was this done because the networks (who own the phone shops) insisted on it, as a condition of carrying the phone in their shops?

Losing internet connection on Wi-Fi (Nokia E52)

I have:
1) PC (Windows 7) with ASDL internet (D-Link DSL-200) and USB Wi-Fi Adapter (TP-Link TL-WN821N)
2) Two netbooks (Windows XP)
3) Smartphone Nokia E52
I want to: share the Internet from PC to other devices via Wi-Fi adapter.
The problem: on PC Wi-Fi connection disconnects with smartphone. But on smartphone, connection is active, the smartphone sends the packets, but the PC is not responding
Updates, drivers, firmware:
Windows 7 - all the latest updates.
Windows XP - all the latest updates.
D-Link DSL-200 - installed the latest driver.
TP-Link TL-WN821N - installed the latest driver.
Nokia E52 - installed the latest firmware (091.003 \ 03-Apr-2012)
I was standing on a PC Windows XP. First I tried the program Connectify Pro. Speed is low, not always connected. I created connection manually by Ad-Hoc mode (I manually prescribed IP and DNS addresses). On netbooks, connection is good! But the problem is with the smartphone. Sometimes the connection is lost, on PC Wi-Fi connection disconnects with smartphone. But on smartphone, connection is active, the smartphone sends the packets, but the PC is not responding. I thought, that USB Wi-Fi adapter's power saving is active, but it was disabled. My friend recommended installing Windows 7. I’ve install it. The same thing ... (on PC Wi-Fi connection disconnects with smartphone. But on smartphone, connection is active, the smartphone sends the packets, but the PC is not responding). Situation is the same in Ad Hoc mode and in SoftAP using MS Virtual Wi-Fi or Connectify Pro.
Is there any solution?
By the way! I forgot to say, if any of netbook will be connected to the PC via Wi-Fi, the smartphone does not lose internet connection, but turning off the netbook creates the same problem after minutes (on PC Wi-Fi connection disconnects with smartphone. But on smartphone, connection is active, the smartphone sends the packets, but the PC is not responding).
Wi-Fi connection on netbooks is good, internet works, no disconnects.
I read on the Russian forums, that such a disease is on all Nokia S60 smartphones.

Thanks for your feedback and welcome to the forum.
From your description I make it you are creating the ad-hoc connection using the TP-Link TL-WN821N? As a general rule it is not advisable to use ad-hoc for 'permanent' WLAN connections. This is more intended for quick 'point to point' connections and is generally considered to be both unstable and insecure. Also it could be you are using the same USB hub on your PC to connect both the modem and the WLAN interface which may cause these two devices to interfere with each other.
I would strongly suggest you replace the D-Link DSL-200 with a modem which has a WLAN accesspoint built in. You will find this will increase your networks dependability and speed. It will also allow you to have your PC turned off and still be able to use WLAN with your phone.

SLOW INTERNET CONNECTION ON NOKIA 6700

I bought a o2 nokia 6700 last week but the internet connection seems to be very slow. I can get onto msn and it seems fine but other websites and address i try to get into either take ages to load or fail ..... any suggestions to improve this please

If you've access to a 2 or 3G network, you should see a "G" on the screen next to the network strength bar. Read the manual and contact your SP for the right Packet-data (gprs) settings. Keep in mind that even though you have 3G, the connection can be slow depending on the network and area.

Connecting my Nokia C5-00 5MP to internet using ov...

First of all sorry to put my problem in this discussion. I was not able to find how to start new discussion. My problem is I have to make several attempts to connect my Nokia C5-00 5MP to internet using ovi suite which should happen in 1st attempt only. Previously internet connection disconnected automatically if kept idle for few minutes which was solved by downloading a fix at microsofts website. Is there any such fix to resolve my current problem? Thanks in advance.

Just to verify, did you follow the same procedures below?
To use your phone as a modem to connect a compatible PC to web.
Install the Nokia Suite to your PC. The latest Nokia Suite includes the compatible drivers.
Connect the data cable and select Connect PC to Web. The confirmation is displayed: Connect PC to web mode activated.
When the necessary Windows software is installed to your PC, accept the installation. If asked, accept the connection as well and the internet browser of your PC will open.
Check the connection settings (Internet Access Point) from your phone for your PC. Select Web > Options > Settings > General > Access point.
Please make sure that you're using a compatible USB cable and your PC has the latest Nokia Suite installed. You may install this software from here: http://www.nokia.com/global/support/nokia-suite/

Nokia 808 internet connection issue / limited conn...

Hi I have bought a Nokia 808 yesterday and the wifi connectivity has major issues.
When connected to wifi access point it is almost always followed by limited connectivity.
I can browse the internet using the browser but the following do not work:
Setting up new email - tries to connect and times out
Maps - Cannot download maps, stuck on 0 % - keeps telling me that im not connected
Weather - doesnt update, always says try again later
Nokia Sync - Thinks its not connected to the internet
Pretty much all internet based apps think im not connected
But as soon as I launch browser it works and opens all pages.
Also stores sometimes opens and says its not available in your country. I want to know why Nokia is selling a phone in my country with local nokia company guarantee and local language support on software and on packaging, but somehow does not give our country access to apps.
I have a Level One WBR6600 modem, never had issues connecting. Updated to latest firmware. All other devices work on the access point, only the nokia has problems.
I have reset countless times to original settings
Deleted access point / re added
I have tried changing access point security to WEP , WPA , WPA2 , and no security, made no difference
I think the problem is not my modem, but the phone. I have tried Tethering from my iphone to nokia and still very limited connectivity.
I have been using iphones for the past few years, and this phone was only appealing because of the camera, but I am very disapointed with the software of the phone. I feel like I downgraded phones. Right now without internet connectivity its a pretty strange phone.
Also very strange to see that the phone has a wiered VPN setup. Its impossible for me to setup my vpn accounts on it, it is asking me for some policies, i think it only supports corprate vpn access and not web serving vpns, like ALL OTHER phones do, with the easiest set up.
please help.

Nokia X6 Internet Connection

I seem to have lost my internet connection the messages I keep getting are.

Only had phone 1 month, any advice appreciated.

when using the net on phone its adviseable to clear your cache as often as you can you should try 1st clearing up phones ram memo by deleting text and moving images etc to mass memo
see how this works
now back up your data and try reset type n *#7370# security code is 12345
then see if you can get a connection
if nothing is working try using the setting wizzrard on the device if this fails call your operator and ask to send them to you this will come via text message

I'm tired with my nokia c2-00 since it can't connect internet to applications such as opera mini and the like and using the default web is costy and slower.so i'm waiting for an update if that will be a solution. I hope updating it might be a remedy to my c2-00 V03-99 and hope nokia company help solving it.thanks

If the default web browser is working then your internet connection settings on the phone are correct. The fact that 3rd party apps don't work would not be supported by Nokia. 3rd party app issues should be brought up with the app developers.
