Nokia C3-01 - No "Watch Video" Link on Youtube
Hello everyone,
I recently bought a Nokia C3-01 and WAS able to stream Youtube videos until today.
I didn't know what happened and I didn't change the settings of my phone but now whenever I try to watch videos on Youtube using Opera Mini, the "Watch Video" link and the image of the video are missing.
Hence, I am unable to stream videos on the internet via my phone's media player.
Please someone help me.

Cant watch video link on safari
I am trying to watch a marathon race but when I click on the link it downloads a file .asf and when I try to open it with quicktime it tells me it is not a movie file.
All my friends with PC can watch this but not me.

Thanks.asf files won't play on Quicktime. Change the file to .wmv and using Flip4Mac extension it should then play in Quicktime.

M.youtube.com "Watch Video" link does nothing
I have a 8310 on AT&T running 4.5.0.110 OS. I have the BB browser selected with BB emulation and all option checkboxes selected. This was working but now when I click a link in m.youtube.com I get nothing. Nada. No reaction to the link being selected.

Put another clip over the first one, do same... other direction.

but watching online also depends on the net speed of your mobile.if this does not solve it then get in touch with your network operator they have different plan with net speed etc that should help you watch -
Can't watch Video's on internet
I need some help. I can't seem to watch video's from Youtube or places like that. I have extra memory installed so that's not the problem. I see on Youtube my E62 isn't a supported type of phone yet. Is there someone place else we can go to watch video's on the internet?
Not sure whether it works with the E62, as I don't have one, but there's a mobile version of YouTube too. Try it here:

It still allows you to search for videos like the main site, and it plays the content great on the E71 ... just make sure you're either on WiFi (if the E62 has it), or on a fixed rate data plan and it can use quite a lot of bandwidth ;-)

OSX crashing while watching video/listening to some audio - confused!
Hi all,
I'm on 10.5.7, on a 2nd gen macbook. I'm getting weird crashes when I'm watching video, such as youtube, but also I get massive glitching with the netflix video player using the silverlight plugin. I've disabled plugins, fixed permissions, reset the PMU, and worked to clean up the machine in any way possible. The audio glitches out, the video holds up and clicks/pops, and then it'll randomly grey-screen and die. This happens in firefox 3.11, but also in Safari 4. I've also seen this happen when listening to Pandora radio. I can't figure out if it's a flash thing, or an audio card thing. I'm using the built-in audio, no special settings or anything. Been to the genius bar like, ten times, apparently all I can do is an erase and reinstall. Seems pretty stupid. I've found that the only way I don't see this issue is if I browse with Opera, which is just a horrible browser, IMHO; unfortunately, this machine crashes for no stupid reason thanks to this issue. If anyone else is having it, I'd love to know. Thanks. -
Safari crashes whenever I try to watch video content
In the last week, I have noticed that Safari (6.0.1) crashes whenever I try to watch video content on Youtube, or indeed Apple (like for instance the iPhone 5 keynote). Originally I thought this was a Flash bug, but now I'm thinking that it isn't. Most pure Flash content works fine, like videos on lego.com (which my kids acces constantly). But youtube = instant crash.
Any idea on what I should do? Upgrade to Mountain Lion, perhaps? (But I guess ML uses the same Safari that I do.) White screen appears while watching videos on full screen
Hi,
I was wondering if you could help me. Last few days, while I'm watching videos on Safari (youtube for example) every couple of minutes a white screen pops up instead of the video.
This happens on full screen only. when I minimize the window, everything seems to be normal.
are you familiar with this phenomenon?

Week and a half old iPad Air crashes with light usage of youtube, netflix and safari pages with video links to youtube and vine. The consistency of problems with videos has led me to determine that it must be bugs with iPad Air. Anyone else having this problem?

I would backup, restore to factory settings, restore from the backup and then try again. If that fails, restore again but do not use the backup - restore as new. If the iPad functions OK as new, then slowly rebuild the iPad adding your apps, music etc, methodically to see if you can pin down what might be causing the problem.
if all of that fails, it's time to schedule an appointment at an Apple a Store (must be done online) and have them take a look, or of it is lees than two weeks old, just return it for a refund and buy another one. -
When ever I try to watch any video, from a link or YouTube say, using Firefox, I get a message ‘An error as occurred. Please try again later’. It has been this way for some weeks. I don’t have this problem using Safari or Opera.
I believe that our “Werbung problem” adds an additional second hyperlink to the pop-up window. This second link is activated whenever you trigger a saved hyperlink to a Mail.com site.
I had the same problem and eliminated it by deleting all bookmarks, hyperlinks and automatic links that take firefox to a mail.com address. So I just deleted all bookmarks I had saved for mail.com. I also changed my home page link because it also went to my email at mail.com. I then did a warm boot, opened firefox and re-saved my bookmarks and homepage to the desired addresses. Good luck. -

how are you supposed to watch videos on the lumia 920?
Every website i go on, is unable to play the video, because of lack of flash.
I cant even watch YouTube anymore. I just get sent to the app store, where obviously there are no apps, as no one makes apps for wp8.
this smartphone isn't acting very smart at all.
It was too much to expect all websites to use html5 seeing how a only a very small handful are using it.
why cant the previous version be added included so videos can actually be watched. especially seeing how it will be years before every website upgrades to html5.The fact Windows Phone does not support Flash is well documented and a little research would have given you this information before you bought your phone. If Flash is so vital to you you obviously bought the wrong phone.
That said, as this is a strategic design choice at the core of Windows phone and IE10 I suggest you direct your questions at Microsoft who made this choice. The members of this user to user support forum are not able to change anything about this and neither is Nokia.

i attempted to update my firefox last night, and when i did it casued me to have to reinstall adobe flahplayer and adblock. When i attempted to re-download these apps i couldn't. Now I don't have adblock and I can't watch videos because flashplayer won't download. If this can't be corrected I may have to return to Internet Explorer. Can this be put right? in English

I have a mac book pro and have already downloaded adobe flash player. However when i go to watch a video it says "Blocked Plug In". But my adobe is already up to date. Can someone help me to fix this so i can watch videos?
If you're sure you've installed the latest version of Flash, take each of the following steps that you haven't already tried. After each step, relaunch Safari and test. For a "missing plug-in" error, start with Step 7. Back up all data before making any changes.
Step 1
You might have to log out or reboot before a Flash update takes effect.
Step 2
In the Safari preference window, select
Privacy ▹ Remove All Website Data
Close the window. Then select
▹ System Preferences… ▹ Flash Player ▹ Advanced
and click Delete All. Close the preference pane.
Step 3
If you're only having trouble with YouTube videos, log in to YouTube and load this page. You may see a link with the text "Leave the HTML5 Trial." If so, click that link.
Step 4
If you get a warning of a "blocked" or "outdated" plug-in, then from the menu bar select
▹ System Preferences… ▹ Flash Player ▹ Advanced
and click Check Now. Quit and relaunch the browser.
If the warning persists, triple-click anywhere in the line below on this page to select it:

Delete the following item, or anything with a similar name, if present:
Flash Player (failing).plugin
You may be prompted for your login password.
Step 6
Re-download and reinstall Flash. Download it from the domain "get.adobe.com". Don't click a link from any other website, including this one, because you can't trust links. They may be an attempt to trick you into installing malware masquerading as Flash. Type the address into the browser window. Never download a Flash update from anywhere else.
Step 7
If you get a "missing plug-in" error, select
Safari ▹ Preferences... ▹ Security
from the Safari menu bar and check the box marked
Allow (or Enable) plug-ins
Then click the button marked
Manage Website Settings...
if present and make sure that the website is not blocked for Flash.
Step 8
Select
Safari ▹ Preferences... ▹ Extensions
from the Safari menu bar. If any extensions are installed, disable them.
