Nokia C3-01 Problem with Camera

Hi,
The Camera of the this moble is slightly slow. While capturing any pose by pressing the click button. It does not capture the same pose rather the pose which comes after in fractions of second.

Yes they are removed.
But we want them back.
It is very basic.

PSE 10 from Apple Store problem with camera raw 6.7 upgrade

PSE 9 was not opening Nikon d4 raw files so I've purchased PSE 10 at the Apple Store and installed on my Mac. PSE 10 is still not opening d4 raw files (camera raw 6.5). I tried to update to 6.7 taken from Adobe but did not succeed to install it. Could you please advice what to do?

You will have to do the update manually for the app store version. Instructions are here:

Problems with Camera Raw 6.7 after upgrading to OS 10.8

I've been using Photoshop CS 5 with Camera Raw 6.7 on my MacBook Pro with no issues until I recently upgraded to OS 10.8. Now my Canon CR2 files (shot with a Canon G15) won't open. Does anyone know of a solution or work-around for this problem?

thanks for the prompt response...i appreciate it. according to the link you listed, that's correct. the strange thing is that prior to the upgrad to mac os 10.8.4, photoshop CS5 was working just fine and i was able to open my canon raw files with my current camera raw plug-in version 6.7 which adobe has indicated is the last camera raw update they'll be offering for cs 5
so it's clearly an issue related to the "upgrade" of the os. seems like every solution creates 6 new problems...further evidence for the notion that if it ain't broke don't fix it! thanks again.

New problem with camera and imovie 08

i have two questions already posted about my camera not being found by imovie 08 except that it did it the first time and wouldn't any time after that.
well here's the new problem. as i'm sitting here trying to find some other post that could help me with my dilemna imovie opens and shows my impost screen but says "communication error". with my first joy and imovie working again came confusion about this error. the error makes it so i cannot import video because the next "error" that comes up says my camera is disconnected or off but even this is farther than i've gotten in weeks. i don't know what this error means and i still can't import video. anyone have any suggestions as to how to fix this?

Test Your Camera on another Mac so that DV-in still works OK
Toogle in iMovie pref: Play-back via Camera (on<->off some times)
Other ways to import Your miniDV tape:
Use another Camera. There where tape play-back stations from SONY
but they costed about 2-4 times a normal miniDV Camera.
If Your Camera works on another Mac. Make an iMovie movie project here and move it
over to Your Mac via an external hard disk.
(HAS TO BE Mac OS Exchange formatted - USB/DOS/FAT32/Mac OS Exchange WILL NOT DO)
(Should be a FireWire one - USB/USB2 performs badly)

FireWire - Sure not using the accompany USB-Cable but bought a 4-pin to 6-pin FW one ?

• Mac OS - X.5.4 ?
• QuickTime version ? (This is the heart in both iMovie and FinalCut)
• iMovie 8 (7.1.?) ?
• iMovie HD 6 (6.0.4/3) ?
Free space on internal (start-up) hard disk ? (Others don't count)
Does Your Camera work on another Mac ?
Sorry to say it is to easy to turn the 6-pin end of the FW-cable 180 deg wrong.
This is lethal to the A/D-chip in the Camera = needs an expensive repair.
(Hard to find out - else than import/export to another Mac ceased to work
everything else is OK eg recording and playback to TV)
Delete iMovie pref file may help sometimes. I rather start a new account, log into
this and have a re-try.

Hi Bengt W, I tried it all, but nothing worked. Your answer has been helpfull insofar as all the different trials led to the conclusion that there was something wrong with my iMovie software. I therefore threw everything away and reinstalled iMovie from the HD. After that the exportation of DV videos (there has not been any problem with HDV videos) to my Sony camcorders worked properly as it did before. Thank you. LKN 1935

connect camera, on, playback, fw-connected...

choose 'About../More..
under Firewire.. what do you read..?

Problem with camera connection kit and IOS 5

Since I upgraded my IPAD 2 to IOS 5 camera connection kit is no longer working properly:
- when importing from a given CF card for the first time camera connection kit it is working with my camera (Canon EOS 7D)
- however, as soon as i take additional photos on a non-empty CF card, things start getting weird when importing:
- duplicates are no longer reliably recognized (some of the photos imported before are indicated as duplicates others not), hence an incremental upload of photos is no longer viable
- some RAW photos are corrupted during import (it shows an "RAW" icon in the photo app, but no preview and the photo cannot be enlarged)
I never had such problems with IOS 4.x I'm really frustrated about IOS 5.0 since camera conenction kit and the ability to deal with RAW photos were my main reasons to buy an IPAD...
Anybody experiencing similiar problems? Any viable workarounds?

Friend, you say "The files must have a filename with exactly 8 characters long (no spaces)" What if one has several hundred photos/files. Renameing them on my computer each 8 characters long adds an extension (1), (2), (3), and so on. For example, "JUNE2014(1). The connection kit won't read the photos due to the extra (1). How can I fix this without having to rename each of the hundreds of photos one by one?

Problem with camera ios 5

Since i updated my iPhone 4 to iOS 5, i have some problems with my camera,I do not have the zoom option, the video mode has a forced zoom and it is always focusig and the film is blurry.
Can i stop the auto focusig in video mode?

but the in the video mode, even when i touch to focus on one point, when a move the phone around or something moves in front of it, it will focus continuously on a new object

Be sure the camera is clean on your iPad!
If you're stuck within an app or you've noticed a problem, simply hold both the home button and sleep/wake button at the same time. It's important to keep your fingers on these buttons until step 3.
After a few seconds the red ‘slide to power off' screen will appear, simply ignore this. Ensure your fingers are still holding down the home and sleep/wake switch.
Shortly after you should see the Apple logo, it's now safe to let go of the iPad's buttons. Your iPad should now boot, beware this process can take up to 15 minutes or so.

Problem with camera on N82

I got my new N82 just a few days ago, but I have discovered a problem with the camera. When I take a picture with flash, I notice a distinct pink haze, and if I do a closeup with flash, it looks ghastly. Take a look at this picture:

Does anyone know what might be wrong? I've reset the phone to factory defaults, it has not been dropped, shaken or otherwise physically affected. Any ideas?
My wife's N82, bought at the same time, delivers perfect pictures.

As you have already tried a restore, I would return it and get a new one. This is obviously hardware related.
The best way to get a quick response is to use the boards. Please do not be offended if I don't answer emails immediately.

Problem with Camera Connection Kit

I am experiencing a problem with my camera connection kit on my ipad2. I have tried to use it today, after upgrading ios on ipad, but it does just not recognise the device any more. I have tried rebooting ipad ( twice), tried to use different sd cards, still no use. I have searched the forum for answers but apart from rebooting, ( which i've done) cannot find a fix..I dont seem to be 'Robinson Crusoe' with this problem either, judging by the forums etc..
As I'm travelling overseas next month, i really will need this feature on ipad, to download pics from camera. Can anyone help with this...

Problem with camera on z1

i have a problem with the camera it doesn't launch from the shutter key directly the camera either gives me a "camera not available" error when i unlock the phone or i have to unlock the phone to launch the camera what to do??????

It means that's a third party app acting up, either unisntall one by one until you find the culprit or repair your phone with PCC

Problem with Camera N8

I have a problem with the camera of my N8, the lens is loked, he lens is blocked, then it worked, but the pictures in the sun, are now completely white, restart the device but there is no change, what I can do?

mmmmh...there must be a mechanical problem to the diaphragm: at first it was stuck closed, then has opened but is stuck wide open. Check if when out of the camera application (or when the phone i off), the lens (not the outer glass, the inner lens) is covered by a black diaphragm. If not (you see the hole of the lens) it means that it's stuck open as when the cell shut off it closes . When in the camera app, depending on the external light the diaphragm should switch between a mid open to full open position. When off, it should be closed.

Problems with camera resolution...

I've acquired a security cam to test a video-chat with FMS2
and encounter a problem with the resolution of my cam. It's a CPcam
CPC371P and It is said to have a resolution of 510*492 (certain
sites speak of standard resolution?).
I wrote two simple applications, one to send the cam stream
and one to receive it, here is the code of both my applications :

As you can see, nothing really complicated. The applications
work perfectly but no matter the resolution I choose, the image
seems to be extrapolated and pixellised. I tried 512*384,
510*492(supposed to be the cam res) and 240*160.
In any case, the image quality is still really poor...
If anyone could help me on this, Is it a problem with the
camera, I may have forgotten an option in my stream ???

After many tests, trying many different resolutions, It seems
that It can't go beyond a resolution of 510x480...
Does anyone know if it is the maximum res of a Stream or if
there is an option to outpass this problem ? It may be the cause of
the poor final quality of my video as the camera native resolution
is 510x492...
If anyone could help me, it would be a great relief... :)

Problems with Camera on IPAD Mini

New Ipad mini. Not able to switch camera to back. It only shows on the front then it freezes. I am also having problems with the number 1. All other numbers are working except no. 1.   I have restored to factory settings and am still having the same problem.

Try:
- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost
Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Reset all settings
Go to Settings > General > Reset and tap Reset All Settings.
All your preferences and settings are reset. Information (such as contacts and calendars) and media (such as songs and videos) aren’t affected.
- Restore from backup. See:
iOS: Back up and restore your iOS device with iCloud or iTunes
- Restore to factory settings/new iOS device.
If still problem, make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store since it appears you have a hardware problem.
