Nokia-C7 Missing Feature - Can't change dialer vis...
Hi,
In the Nokia-C7 In the home screen, when selecting Call to open the Dialer, it is possible to search for a contacts immediately by pressing the numbers buttons to entering the characters that appears on them.
The language that appears on the buttons is the one that is configures as the default writing language of the phone, and there is no easy method of change the language appearing on the dialer keys, other than going to settings and modifying the writing language. (see page 35 of the Nokia-C7 user manual)
I have contacts in three languages in my Nokia-C7 (Arabic, Hebrew and English)
(NOTE: Although the dialer does not provide a way to select a different language to appear on it button, still the search provide results in all the languages that are used in the address book. So if my default writing language is English and I need to search for a contact name in Arabic or Hebrew, I either need to go to the settings to change the writing language, or I need to remember the keyboard layout to press the correct numbers).
I think there should be button that facilitate changing the language of the letters appearing on the dialer keys
I like the Nokia-C7 very much, but this is the only thing that I find missing and very annoying.
My phone firmware code is: 059B662 (Middle East)
I would be very thankful if this feature can be added ASAP.

You need to ensure forward and reverse DNS lookups work for your server. There should be a record set on your DNS server, and also on your server. This is documented in the Open Directory Administration guide.

Thank youNo I guess you haven't really understood the feature, maybe you never used it before, it is the feature that allows you to send DTMF tone when in a call, when you choose to do that it allows you to either punch in the code from the keypad like you to or you can scroll to the contact you want to call, select the number you want to call the contact at and send that number as a DTMF tone. Suggest you look at an old Nokia E61 manual, this should be listed and explained there. Thanks anyway.

Before anyone asks, yes I searched for this before posting and none of this has any info bearing my problem. I've recently had to get new credit cards and now I'm getting emails from Skype about trying to re-up my subscription even though it does not suppose to re-up until April of '15.
Anyways, when I go to my subscription, then to my premium settings, I do not get an option to change my payment options. So I need help on how to do that or a phone number to call skype or a skype contact that I can add to my list to try to chat with. I can't use the web base chat since no matter what I do to disable my pop-up blocker, I can not get the web base chat window to pop up. So I need either a phone number or a chat contact name. Thank you.I am having the same problem - cant change to credit card details skype premium uses to renew subscription. Its lets you add a new one but not remove the old one that is no longer valid.
Has anyone managed to overcome this problem and how? -

i suggeste make this feature available in a new software update ..
there is also some specefications ..here on the site about asha 200 that dosen't exist

Please note that if you bought your 200 from another country and it was their country's model, then you may have the FM recording functionality disabled as it is not allowed in their country. -

For sideloaded content the nook pulls the metadata from ePub file itself. I would suggest looking at a program like Sigil or Calibre that will let you edit the metadata in the book to make it appear like you want.
For the PDF vs ePub - No, that's the way PDFs work (think of them as graphics, not text), wheres ePubs are Web Pages - so no you can't them to behave exactly alike without converting the files. -
Can't change the Message Centre Number in my Nokia...
I have a 3 day old Nokia X. I can't send text messages due to wrong the message centre number set in my Nokia X device. When I try to change it in settings, a pop-up appears which say "It is bad to change SMSC Number. Do you want to change ?". I choose "Ok". Then nothing changes Message Centre Number is set on "+7" and does not changes. I have tried many things including removing battery and SIM Card without switching off the device and reseting the device to Factory Defaults. But the problem persists. It doesn't changes. I live in New Delhi, India.
Any help will be appriciated.No I am not able to resolve the issue.
I reset my phone without the SIM Card also but same thing repeats. I can't change the Message Centre Number. It reverts to +7 when I try and change it in settings with the pop up "Changing the SMSC may cause problems sending messages, to confirm the change ?". Then I tap "OK" and nothing changes the Message Centre Number is still +7. -
In the past, when I opened up a new tab, I used to get the Speed Dial page. I like that. However, since I updated my AVG anti-virus program, now when I open a new tab, I get the AVG search page. Can I change it back so that I get the Speed Dial?
I had that too. On the bottom right of the AVG search page is a link which leads you to where you can switch it off. This restores normal Speed Dial operation.
This hijacking has really cheesed me off. I've just downloaded Avast and am going to put it on in place of AVG. -

I manage to fix it
by format my iPhone (General -> Erase All Content and Settings) and restore from backup.
After the restore the name was updated to my real name.

It sounds like the songs have either not yet synced over to the iPhone, or something went wrong when attempting to sync to the iPhone. My recommendation is to uncheck the "Sync Music" checkbox.
Once you have done that, recheck the "Sync Music" checkbox, and apply the changes once more. This will instruct iTunes to completely remove all music from your iPhone, and then copy the files once more. If you have a large amount of music, this initial sync may take a while.

I have 5530 Xpress Music. 4 days before this problem started that when I dial a number and put the phone to my ear, I can not hear the dial tone going to other end. When other party receive the phone they say Hello/hi I can not hear them, If I say any thing they can not hear but call counter is running.
Then I tried that I dialed and turned on the Speaker, now I can hear the dial tone going, when other party responds to call, I can now hear them and they can also hear me, but dialing using handset mode it is failing, I can not hear any dial tone, the other party can not hear me , I can not hear them.... Any ideas what could be the reason, please guide me.try going to options in call select send dtmf tone it p strange that you hear on speaker and not from earpiece
