Nokia C7 won't start anymore

Question

Hi all!
To briefly describe the problem:
- bought the phone 5 days ago; tried it to see how it works- installed PR1.2 as an update throgh phone's update function to have the latest software available;
- 3 days ago it suddenly stopped; It started again after five minutes (meanwhile I couldn't make it start whatsoever);
- yesterday while transfering a picture through OVI to the computer, the phone closed; I couldn't make it work again; I searched the internet and the only thing that worked was to leave the phone in the fridge for 5 minutes and then turn it on but it only works for some time then closes again;
From what I see in the other threads, this is a common problem. Is there any proper workaround available or the only solution is to get it back to the the store I bought it and hope they'll replace the motherboard? Is there anywhere any information regarding the source of the problem? (I read it's probable to be a sensor of heat)

Hello,
Regardless the reason what’s causing this issue and whether your phone
temporarily wakes up after being in fridge, the fact is that your new phone
isn’t working as it should. For that phone needs to be either checked by Nokia
Care point and then repaired or swapped by the retailer. As phone is brand new,
warranty naturally covers the costs.
Putting the phone into fridge for a while obviously isn’t a solution and if
done frequently, may even damage the phone more, as rapid temperature changes
cause air humidity condensing inside the device. Also opening the phone and
trying to repair according to some instructions found from internet causes the
warranty to expire, so I definitely wouldn’t recommend that either.
