Nokia E5 Server Error whit Wifi connection

Just bought a Nokia E5. I uses the Wifi Wizzard and connect to my Wifi Home network. After entering the Security password (WPA/WPA2). the phone says.. "known" so I suppose the connection is established. But when I want to go to a Web page.. it takes a long time and after that I get the an Server error (In Dutch Server Fout).. ? How to solve..

I started having the error message "unable to connect with server. Check wifi connection" when I attempt to use search function within a certain apps and when I try to download certain magazine (eg. You may not really be connected to your WiFi network.
Your router may not have given your iPad a valid IP address. Go to Settings > Wifi > your network name and touch the ">" to the right to see the network details. If the IP address starts with 169 or is blank then your router didn't provide an IP address and you won't be able to access the Internet.
Sometimes the fix can be as simple as restarting your router (remove power for 30 seconds and restart). Next, reset network settings on your iPad (Settings > General > Reset > Reset network settings) and then attempt to connect. In other cases it might be necessary to update the router's firmware with the latest from the manufacturer's support web pages.
If you need more help please give more details on your network, i.e., your router make, model and version, the wifi security being used (WEP, WPA, WPA2), etc.

Can you load a webpage in Safari with that wifi connection? If so then it's a problem with the iTunes Store app connection. If not then your wifi isn't fully functional and you need to troubleshoot that first.

EAS server error: Could not connect to administration Server

Hi,
I have installed Hyperion suite in Windows server 2008 R2. It was working fine but now when i tried to login in to the EAS console, I am getting the following error:
"Server Error: Could not connect to administration server".
I tried accessing the same through the web URL and I found "404 error - file or directory not found".
I verified all my services are up and running fine. I am able to connect to the essbase sever through Excel as well as planning.

HyS9eas-syserr.log is empty and I dont find anyother details from the other log files.

I ran the EPM diagnostic and found EAS & APS application are failed. So as you mentioned, i tried re-deployment through EPM configurator.
But Re-configuration fails with error "An unexpected error occurred and the application will have to shut down" .

Since it is similare to the Oracle konwledge base article - (Doc ID 1570293.1), I tried adding the shared service domain to the Windows host file. But i am still recieveing the same error message as above.

I support a 8.3.x server with Insight plugin in use. This has worked for some time now with WinXP. The issue comes into play when the company is upgrading users to Win7 stations. First, the zero-admin (download and install setup launch) is failing. The Install window opens but doesn't seem to be able to complete. Then, when we do get the plugin installed via the manual download and install, we then reach a point where the bqy will not connect with the Server Error [2007]: "Database connection information not accessible. Processing is disabled." If we proceed from there, we'll get Server Error [6] PUB_NullArgument errors and empty "Show Values" limit boxes. So it's like the .oce information is not received on the Win7 platform - it still works fine on WinXP installations.
And, I know it can work, as the PC Support personnel were able to get this working on one PC.
Any suggestions?

Did you do a hard reset? Sounds like a hardware failure.

This is the product code (PC) which is printed on the label (under the battery) and on your sales-box sticker.

Administration server error: could not connect to server

I was just viewing some outlines and calc scripts. I got un error trying to close a clac script. It said unable to unlock and then closes EAS. I tried to log back in and I am getting a could not connect error. How do I fix this or do I just recycle the server

A little less drastic is to restart the EAS service. I've had an occasion or two where the service just up and stopped for no apparent reason, leaving me hanging with several hours of work to be redone in an outline... <sigh>
Anyway, restarting the EAS service may be all that you needed to do, it may have aborted or hung itself.
Edit: clearer to say service here rather than server.

Java web server error when not connected to network

If my laptop is not connected to a network, when I execute the java web server, it fails at start up with the exceptions listed below. When debugging, I need access only to local host, so it seemed reasonable to me that the web server should execute in the absence of a network.
I just found that I get the same failure, if I'm connected to the network via a dialup connection.
Any ideas on how to configure my system so that the web server will function in the absence of a network connection?

Live Auction on ABAP Server: Error mess: "Cannot Connect to Server" in LAC

Dear SRM friends,
we are on SRM 7.0 EhP1 and would like to us Live Auctions.
I've activated Business Function SRM_SOURCING_1 and the switch for Live Auction on ABAP Server.
I'm able to create a auction and when I click on Button "Live Auction" the Live Auction Cockpit starts
with the contents of the created auction (Name, number, status published, item, bidder).
But the screen is blocked. After a few seconds the message "Cannot Connect To Server" with a time stamp appears.

Receive "server error" message when connecting to website which has been successfully for many years

After successfully using several secure websites for years, I now get an error message "certificate has expired" with a FUTURE expiration date. I can't over ride the error even though the option is offered.
There is also a running banner of news headlines at the top of the Mozilla homepage. Those headlines have not changed in 3 weeks.

recomend you just use pop mail if using a home machine, phone etc makes life easier.

Or maybe the client is in the WiFi and the server is out on the internet. Regardless, you write exactly the same code, and neither the client nor the server knows that there's WiFi involved. Your app just opens a socket connection to an IP address.
The one case where it gets tricky, but your app still doesn't know the difference, is of the client is on the internet and your server is on your LAN. It has nothing to do with whether the LAN is WiFi, however. It's because you will most likely not have a public IP address, so you'll have to do port forwarding from your router (assuming it actually does have a public IP address, which is common in my experience, but not guaranteed).

Server error when submitting Apple ID during initial settup

I'm doing initial setting up of brand new Mac Book Pro w/Retina. I select hotel WiFi then get to screen for Apple ID. I type my ID & password but get a server error. I connect with other devices thru the WiFi but it requires a term agreement before it works. Could this explain the server error and how do I get around it? I don't really know my OS because I can't get to desktop as I am stuck on settup.

Just to make things a bit clearer:
Go to https://appleid.apple.com/ and click Manage your Apple ID, then log in with your normal Apple ID.
Edit your Apple ID and Primary Email Address and change it to a different email address you have access to. Your mileage may vary when it comes to whether you will be able to change back to your old Apple ID, so maybe take this chance to make a new Gmail account and have it forward to your old one?
Verify that email address.
Log into https://discussions.apple.com/ with your new email address.
You will be prompted to make a new username for your Apple discussions account. Hooray!
You can try changing back to your old email address for your Apple ID. This would certainly make things easier if it works. Personally, I got a new error message whenever I tried logging in, saying that "You are unable to sign in to Apple Support Communities because your Apple ID may be missing its Primary Email Address..."
If you were able to change back to your old email address and still log into Apple Discussions, you're done.
If you can't, you have to use your new email address as your Apple ID, and will need to update all your devices with your new Apple ID. Here's a page Apple has to help with that process: Apple ID: What to do after you change your Apple ID
