Nokia E52 photo editor

After updating E52 firmware to 81.003,not able to edit photos,as the effects are not shown.
Also the media file(.mp4 and .flv) are not opening.
help plzzz....

Welcome to the Nokia forum.
This can be fixed with a reset and reinstallation of the update.
Take a back up with Nokia Suite, but don't back up the Settings as this will back up the bug that's causing this.
Now hard reset the device with *#7370# and default security code 12345. Once the phone has rebooted, connect it to the PC, open Nokia Suite and click on the green arrow. You will be able to reinstall the software here.
Now restore the back up by going to Tools > Restore.
Let me know how you get on so that I can troubleshoot further, if necessary.

The pictures displayed in your phone's Photo Editor application are the same as the ones in your gallery. They are not a copy of the pictures, they are the displays of the same files from the memory. If you would like to free some memory space, I advise you to delete the unwanted pictures from the gallery. Once deleted, these pictures will not be displayed in the gallery or in the Photo Editor app anymore.

Restore photo editor and video editor

Can someone really help regain my photo and video editor on my nokia 700 after i have performed factory reset, my nfc tutorial, photo editor as well as video editor have vanished after using the back up.I love using thee apps on my phone, please i really need this help.

have you tried reinstallnig the current firmware thru Nokia Suite on PC? also check that those editors haven't moved into the Gallery section of your device.

Please suggest me a very good video editor and a photo editor (although inbuilt photo editing is there but still if there is any better) for my nokia 808 pureview white and from where i can download these and install in my mobile.

your best bet apart from Google would be searching under photo or video or editor in Nokia Store on your device. As Symbian is now in maintenance mode, developer support and application support appears to be winding down, so what is found or not found, is unfortunately as good as you're going to get mate.

Please use the forum search function before posting, often your question will have been asked and answered before so you will get your answer straight away. Please see the forum guidelines on posting if your have any questions on this.
How did you reset your C7? If you used any other way to reset but the *#7370# code you probably used a reset which is reserved for Nokia Care Centres which involves pressing a specific combination of hardware buttons.
This reset is used to get a phone back on when it wont' start normally but will remove a number of files form the device which are not installed by the updates available to you as an end user of the device.
In this case you'd have to visit a Nokia Care Point where the device can be rewritten at lower level including these files. This will completely erase all content from the device so make sure you have a backup of your personal data made in Nokia Suite before you do this.

Photo Editor & Video Editor

After Symbian Belle Future Pack 2 Update, photo editor & Video Editor is deleted. In Ovi Store I don't found any of the editor. Where I can found original Video Editor & Photo Editor which was in feature pack 1 or Original Symbian Belle ? Please Help , I need both of them

6220 classic photo editor problems

Good morning
Today, when i tried to edit some photos with the photo editor of my 6220c it didn't work.
When i call the "apply effect" function first i get a white box then the area of all the photo goes blank. The phone doesn't lock and keeps working properly allowing me to go back!
anyone can help me before having to go to a nokia service center (P.S - I have done all the sorts of resets, including the hard (* 3 green )

I'm having this problem too with my 6220C. The installer gets half way through downloading and then says it's lost connection with my internet. When I press try again, it doesn't even attempt to start downloading and tells me to make sure i've plugged it into a proper usb slot. Tried uninstalling and reinstalling the updater several times and the same thing happens every time. Very frustrating.

5800 xpress music photo editor problem

hi, i've just bought a nokia 5800 and i have faced a problem with the photo editor.
When i try to edit any photo from the gallery i choose edit then add effect the phone close the editor and takes me back to the gallery.
i tried updating the software version of the mobile and restoring factory settings but both didn't help.
any ideas ???

Just check whether your photos aren't damaged or maybe your gallery information is corrupted. Try to format your card first. But keep a backup. Try transferring your images again to the card and see whether this helps?

Actually File to IDOC scenario is very simple.
1.Go to Integration repository,Create a Software Component Version.
2.Under that SWCV Create a Data structure for Source(File).
3.Create a Message Type, Message interface,Message mapping,Interface mapping for the file.
4.Get the IDOC structure from SAP objects Using import objects.
5.Using a sample file u can test it in the message mapping.
6.Activate all these things then and there.
Go to Configuration
1.Create Sender Communication Channel,Sender Agreement,Receiver Determination,Interface Determination and Receiver Agreement.
2.Use File Adapter for File and IDOC adapter for Receiver in the communication channel u specified.
3.Activate all these things then and there.
4.Just create a sample file Using mapping in design and u can see a output file.

Unable to open application | e6 photo editor

I have formatted my phonr (e6).
After that I am unable open Photo editor. It says "unable to open application".
Also unable to see photo edit option in the gallery.

Thanks for your post and welcome to the Nokia forum.
In order to fix this issue, I would advise you to perform a hard reset. First of all, back up your data using Nokia Suite (Tools > Back up). Once your data is fully backed up, type *#7370# on the keypad. Default lock code is 12345.
The hard reset will dellete all your personal information, that's why a back up is very important.
Alternatively, you may also check for updates on Nokia Suite (by going to Tools > Updates).
If the problem persists, I would suggest you to contact your local Nokia care.

Nokia E52 Colors

I am trying to find out the colors that E52 come with. PLEASE HELP!
1) Gold version
There is the gold version, which was announced with the phone itself, though I have never seen it being sold by any retailer, e-tailer etc, and I have never seen a photo or vide posted by someone, other than the ones that were captured during the event where E52 was officially announced. I will appreciate if someone can confirm whether he has ever seen E52 gold version in person.
2) Grey version
Almost all e-tailers sell one type of grey version. However, according to gsmarena’s review, the phone comes in metallic and graphite grey. Nokia Finland website sells two grey versions, but the sample photos are the same. Can some who may be knowledgeable about this shed light on this situation please?
3) Black version
On the Internet, you may find two types of black E52 photos. One is all black, the other one is all black except the surrounding part, which is grey. However, the version sold by e-tailers is the latter one. I have also find some actual photos and a video posted on youtube confirming the latter.
However, the sample photo on Nokia Finland’s website belongs to an all black E52.
4) White version
There is no doubt that there is only one white version. The photos posted on various Nokia websites and the photos and videos of the actual phones posted on the Internet as confirm this.
I am interested in the gold version for my girlfriend. For myself I am interested in all black, and perhaps a second version of the grey, which I have never seen on the Internet.
The uncertainty and conflicting situations for this E52 model is a shame on Nokia. Add to this the fact that Nokia decided to not market this product in my country!

Problem with photo editor in n 96 helppppppppppppp

the inbuilt photo editor in my n96 is not working can anybody help when i try to edit a photo the editor opens but it shows a blank window what to do?

Open Photos.
Select a picture to Edit.
Select OPTIONS -> EDIT
(Opening dialog takes place)
Now you should see a window with Tools superimposed to your picture.
Select what you want to edit.
If you are using a different editor let me know...
Try first with a picture you took with the phone before trying some other type of pictures, just to check that it's ok.

Isync & Nokia E52

My nokia E52 used to sync fine but since a couple of weeks Isync seems to hang if it tries to connect. I removed all software as well as nokia's plugin for the E52 and reinstalled it, then paired the phone again with the following result :
congratulations, your mobile phone is now setup....
.Pairing was completed
.use isync to transfer contacts...
.access the internet
.serial port
.use to transfer files
so all seems ok.
I can transfer photo's taken with the phone in iphoto, i can brwose the phones memory with bluetooth but Isync hangs.
What to do?

Even with the cable, Isync hangs at least once or twice a week, needing to reset the device and thus erasing all changes on the phone.
This is just not working the way it's designed.
SOmetimes Isync says the phone should be set-up, sometimes after 10 or 15 error messages, all of a sudden it syncs. Once it gets to the point that it won't sync, it loses the definition of the calaendars and syncs only all the adresses from the adress book. Isync does not see the groups or the calendars available. A reset is inevitable.
What can be done?

Want to start PSE 12 in photo editor but it will only start in Orgaizer, can't get to welcome screen and the .exe file that Adobe said to look for does not exist on my files

Have tried to start PSE 12 in photo editor but it continues to start in Organizer. I do not want my pictures loaded in Organizer at all. Saw a page on the web that said to click on an .exe editor file but that is not on my files. Also cannot get a welcome screen to come up, only an organizer even though I checked it the first time to come up in photo editor. I'm now having Organizer crammed down my throat. Tried online chat but was cut off with the statement that no support is offered for v12 any longer.

You failed to say which operating system you are running on so I'm assuming it is Windows of some type.
You should be able to find the following files, using explorer, depending on your system.
64bit system: "C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Photoshop Elements 12\PhotoshopElementsEditor.exe"
32bit system: "C:\Program Files\Adobe\Photoshop Elements 12\PhotoshopElementsEditor.exe"
Double clicking on that should start the editor - suggest to create a shortcut to it.
If you can't find one of those files, then you either installed it somewhere else or you need to re-install elements.

Photo editor window takes a long time to load

when i try to open a JPEG photo in photo editor in safari 2.0.4 with Java 1.4.2.
During the first try, the photo editor didnt load. Just the blank window got displayed.
After a system restart, the photo editor displays the Java screen, but takes a long time to load(more than an hour and it is still loading) and while it is loading, user is unable to use safari browser
Mac OS X (10.4.7) Java 1.3.1 and Java 1.4.2 is installed in the Mac OS X machine.
