Nokia E6 Full Screen Browser?

Hello,
I was wondering if anyone knows how can I make the Web Browser on my Nokia E6 appear full screen.
I have updated my Nokia E6 is Belle but there seems to be no easy way to know how to enable full browser in my Nokia E6.
Can anyone help me in that?
Thanks alot.

I agree on that the nokia browser should be able to run i full screen mode as in opera mobile.
Another thing, when n browsing nokia discussions the fonts are way to small using nokia browser (nokia e6, nokia 700 and 701). I have to use opera for doing this as i am doing right now replying in this thread.

  • Trying to use launchd to reload full-screen browser

I'm trying to use launchd to run a simple digital sign to show the weather.
    Use case:
Start browser on boot, load up a URL  (THIS WORKS)
Run a simple apple script that reloads the browser
Use launchd to run that script to reload the browser every 5 minutes.
All was well until I switched my browser to full-screen mode.
Now, when the launchd script fires off, it moves back to the desktop (away from the full screen browser).
Tabs reload correctly but the user cannot see them (because the browser is not visible anymore).
Put simply:  If I open up a browser into full screen mode, and then use launchd Apple script to reload it, the full-screen browser dissapears, and the Desktop shows up.  If I command-tab back to the browser, I can see that the reload worked.
Does anyone know how to make this work so that the browser reloads in full-screen mode without switching to the desktop when I call my applescript?
If it helps, here is my code in the apple script... this all works (I'm using a Chrome extension to make ctrl+shift+r reload all tabs)
tell application "Google Chrome" to activate
    tell application "System Events"
              delay 2.0

  • Sort full-screen Browser in Browser mode?

Hi. I'm missing something -- the ability to sort the current container while in full-screen browser mode. In full-screen, there are only two viewing modes, Browser (shows contents of selected containers) and Viewer (shows selected images). In Viewer mode, one can pop-up the Filmstrip and use its sort control. In Browser mode, there is no Filmstrip, and no sort control I can find.
Currently I change from Browser to Viewer in order to sort while running full-screen.
    Thanks.

How do you keep finding these? I drew a blank. They should hire you to break their programs
Seems like it might be time for an Apple Feedback Being abler to sort in the full screen browser doesn't seem like something you should even have to ask for.
Currently I change from Browser to Viewer in order to sort while running full-screen.
Just tried it and it seems almost faster to go from fullscreen browser to normal browser, set sort, and switch back. With your finger poised over the F key and mouse set over where the sort field is it went pretty fast.

  • Full Screen Browser Window

When i publish for full screen, I don't get a true full
screen browser window. I get a browser window that is supposed to
be large enough for the Captivate file but it's not always working
depending on the computer. I would like have the html file launch a
true full screen browser window no matter what resolution the user
has. Any html gurus know what i can change in the html file to make
    that happen?

Have you done a search for "full screen" in these forums? I
think you'll find that there are different approaches, depending on
    your definition of full screen.
None of these solutions is perfect from what I've seen as
we're forced to deal with what the browser vendors will allow in
this "more secure" day and age.

  • Open .swf in full-screen browser window?

Hi there! I would appreciate if someone could help me with this:
I have a .swf that I embed in an .html file. When loaded, the html file opens up in a window with the application taking up only 50% of the window. I'd like to have the application open in a window that's full screen. Is that possible at all?
The .html file I'm using is a standard one generated by Captivate and looks like this:

If you mean the File>Open dialog, double click on the Title bar to get it back to a smaller size.

  • N95 full screen web browsing - wide mode?

N95 web browser seems to work ok in full screen normal mode but when I rotate screen to wide mode there are information areas left to screen both to top and botton. Any idea how to get true full screen browsing in wide mode?
    Nokia faitful: 6110, 3650, 7610, 6680, N95, N97, N900, ...

Seems like full-screen mode in landscape is not quite as full-screen in portrait. I suspect there's nothing you can do about it (Nokia would have to modify the browser).

  • Access browser in full screen mode?

how do you access browser to brows photos when in full screen mode? i can see the film strip at the bottom but how do you go in browser mode to see all photos on screen while full screen? full screen was kind of wird to use at first so i avoided using it for a few months, but now i kind of figured out where everything is, except of this.

I am not sure, if I understand your question: Are you asking, how to get access to all items in your library for browsing while in full screen mode, or are you asking how to browse many images at once, while in full screen mode.
To access all library items in Full Screen Mode, display the inspector and use the Library tab of the Inspector panel.
To have a full screen Browser, switch to full screen mode while in Browser view.
For example, using the Inspector in Full Screen mode: (klick the button to launch the Inspector HUD).
And after switching to full screen mode, while in the Browser:

  • IPad Web App full screen mode Network Connectivity Retry Option

    Hi,
I have developed a web application in HTML5 for iPad (full screen mode). Now I am testing the application on iPad for connectivity scenario i.e. to see how the app behaves when the connectivity is lost and then resumed after some time.
    Steps -
Launch the web application in full screen mode from home screen (connected to a wifi network).
Click on any button to submit the form and at the same time turn off external wifi modem.
A pop-up message appears with the options to close or retry.
Now turn on the modem and click on retry.
The expectation is that on clicking retry the data in the web form should be sent to the web server, but instead of POST request, a GET request is being sent. Because of this, the data filled in the form is lost as the page is simply refreshed.
Can anyone please help me in resolving this issue.
    Thanks
    Nitin

This is more of a feature of the browser already.
With iOS6, Mobile Safari on the iPhone introduced full-screen browsing support in landscape mode.
    http://howto.cnet.com/8301-11310_39-57513848-285/how-to-use-safaris-full-screen-mode-on-io s-6/
One isn't able to take advantage of this feature in portrait mode though. However, the meta tag you're referring to in order to hide Safari UI Components requires the webapp to be added to the Homescreen; then when you launch the site through the icon on the Homescreen, you would find the UI components hidden.
Also, the latest version of Chrome for iOS released a couple of days ago includes the ability to view pages in fullscreen as well (for both landscape and portrait modes) with scrolling gestures enabling the hiding and showing of the omnibox and toolbar while navigating down a page.

  • Escaping full screen mode in safari 5

press escape and nothing happens. is there something i'm missing?

    HI,
You need third party software for full screen browsing capability in Safari.
    Get Glims. http://www.machangout.com/
You can access the software from the Safari Preferences pane.

  • Change default full-screen view

    Hi All,
In Aperture 3, the default full-screen view is not to see the "viewer" view, but rather the "browser" view.
Is there a way to change this default? When I change to full-screen mode, it's generally to see the largest view of a picture, which is now a 2-step process.
    thanks,
    nathan

    Ernie,
Most of the time when I'm looking to use full screen mode, I'm in the Browser view. It makes sense now that you've detailed what happens -- Browser mode in non-full-screen opens the browser mode in full-screen. That's the key. I hadn't tried to do what you described - full screen mode from the viewer view.
It sounds like I'll have to adjust my workflow. I like working in browser mode and then going to full screen single-photo. However, it doesn't sound like it's the way the new full-screen mode works. The good thing is that the size of the thumbnails is maintained separately for non-full-screen versus full-screen. I can make the full-screen browser have larger thumbnails than my regular browser.
    thanks,
    nahan

  • I pressed something, and it made the browser go into a "full screen" mode, how do I change it back? And also, something happened and made my FireFox text on all internet pages smaller, is there any way I could change this setting?

I had pressed a button on my keyboard which made my text and pictures and the whole page smaller in size, can I change that? And how could I change my browser out of "Full Screen" mode?

You can press F10 to toggle (View) Full Screen mode.
Reset the page zoom on pages that cause problems: <b>View > Zoom > Reset</b> (Ctrl+0 (zero); Cmd+0 on Mac)

  • How to permanently disable this message: "Press Esc to exit full screen." (by Adobe Flash Player) in Mac's Safari Browser?

    Hello everyone,
I have been searching for sometime (without any success) for a solution to permanently remove this annoying message: "Press Esc to exit full screen."
Whenever I go to full screen mode, watching any video on YouTube, BBC, CNN (or many other websites which use Adobe Flash Player for streaming video) I have to bare seeing this message for several seconds until it fades away. Seeing this message once or twice would have been okay, but as we all watch many videos on a daily basis on internet, after weeks, months and now years seeing this message over and over again many times every day, it becomes very annoying, and I find myself rewinding many videos to their beginning after this message fades away to be able to watch it from the beginning without anything obstructing it!
Does anyone know how to "permanently" disable this message from appearing?
I am using the latest version of Safari 6.0 on the latest version of OS X (Mountain Lion 10.8.1), and have the latest version of Adobe Flash Player (Plug-in version 11.4.402.265) installed on my new MacBook Pro 15" with Retina Display.
    Thanks,
    Ally

    Thanks Carolyn,
I am attaching a screenshot here for you to see that this setting was already set to what you suggested. I didn't need to change it as it was like this even before I post this message.
So the problem still presists and unfortunately your suggestion is not a solution to this probelm.
Last night I did more reseach and found a discussion in Adobe website, it seems a lot of other people have the same issue, and even started a discussion in Adobe website about it. But unfortunately Adobe refuses to address it and enable the end user at least to have an option to turn this message off from displaying permanently on his/her computer.
I am writing down the url links for the two posts regarding this issue on Adobe's website:
    Link #1: http://forums.adobe.com/thread/921270
    Link #2: https://bugbase.adobe.com/index.cfm?event=bug&id=3058752
Hopefully more people will get involved and ultimately we will either get Adobe's attention, or someone will find a "hack" and post it here for all of us. I have found some suggested "hacks" for Windows environment (you can simply google it, I am sure you will find them too). But so far I haven't seen anything for Mac's Safari browser.
    Cheers,
    Ally

  • I can't restore my toolbars and the "full screen" mode button is NOT at the top right-hand corner of my browser (or anywhere else)

My toolbar and menu is gone from Firefox. I have tried closing the browser and opening new ones and all the suggestions in the help forums on this website (as well as several others). Pressing "alt", "F10", "F11" and SEVERAL other things have NOT helped.
There is no full screen mode button anywhere on my browser and when I put my cursor at the top of the window, NO menu options appear at all.
I normally would quit Firefox but the icon won't appear in my dock and my computer won't let me eject the application (to download again) because apparently it's in use (even when I've closed all windows).

F11 doesn't work on a Mac to toggle full screen mode.
Make sure that you do not run Firefox in full screen mode (press F11 or Fn + F11 to toggle; Mac: Command+Shift+F).

Co-el, This wasn't possible as there wasn't a navigation bar available. The F11 did the trick though. Thanks for adding to the discussion.
