Nokia E6 keeps restarting

I have a Nokia E6, i installed the Kaspersky mobile anti virus and was using the trial version. After the trial period got over i purchased a new license and uninstalled the trial version. I installed fresh copy of Kaspersky and now my phone keeps restarting within 15 seconds of swichting on. this goes on for about 3-4 times and then the phone just not start. Please help what should i do?

I having a same problem with all the above.
After read a few suggestion from here and other topic, I'm deciding to do the following step TODAY at 5pm:
1. I'm reset to the factory setting > restore.
2. Change Network Mode > Dual Mode to GSM. The phone quite stable and I'm waiting when it will retargeting by its own again. Last few minute starting from restoring the phone, it restarting 4 time maybe due to the Dual Mode which is the phone getting a 3G or 3.5G signal it start retargeting again and again.
3. Switching Mail for Exchange from Auto to Manual Sync.
As of now, the phone quite stable and running smooth. No more restarting issues. Hope I have a patient to wait until getting a new stable OS for Nokia E6-00. My aim toward Samsung Galaxy Note or S2.....hemmm....If NOKIA want me stay/loyal with your product, please resolve this issue ASAP!

Nokia 7390 keeps restarting when memory card inse...

My nokia 7390 has been working fine up till a couple af days ago. The phone works fine without the memory card ( i have tried 2 different memory cards) but when i insert the memory card the phone keeps on restarting continuously. Please help!!!

Nokia 7710 keeps restarting

Hi folks
I have had a 7710 for almost 4 years and have been very happy but a few days ago it froze on receiving an SMS message and I had to remove the battery to try and restart the phone as it used to happen every once in a while before.
However this time it refused to restart. The Nokia logo appears then the screen goes blank for a few seconds and then it goes off first and comes back on again and then the whole procedure repeats again and again. I tried formatting the phone as described in some forums but it doesn't work.
Just to say that I have always kept the phone very well and it has never been dropped or exposed to any thing that it shouldn't be.
Hope someone can help me as I really like this phone and would like to have it working again.
PS. I live in Croatia and there are very few places that can flash the phone here and they charge rather a lot for doing it. I have the Nokia USB cable DKU-2. Any solutions using that cable? Or else any home made cable circuit diagrams for Nokia phones anybody? Preferably something for novice like myself that can be understandable!?

About updating/reinstalling firmware; yes I've gathered that much that it might fix the problem but the only places that can do that in Croatia charge almost as much as it would cost to buy a new phone so it isn't worthwhile going to them. The official Nokia dealer is a dodgy little company called Mobis electronics who doesn't normally honour even valid warranty and usually people pay up for repairs etc that should be carried out free of charge by them. They told me that they can't repair this phone because it's too old etc and they offered me some newer version for almost €1000! That's how things work here in Croatia. If there is any way to do it by myself using some sort of home made cable etc it would be great or else I might have to wait until I can find someone who will be able to do it for some reasonable price. I managed to find a few versions of firmware for this phone, the latest one being version 4.10 as well as some image files. Unfortunately Nokia doesn't provide the facility to update/reinstall this firmware or any software as such except applications etc on this phone so that option can be ruled out.

after a lot of research finally updated to fp1 successfully .update is not available here via nokia suite.
after tagging this post i downloaded the update again and faced the same problem as i said. i removed the sim card and memory card. then i switched the power button and surprisingly my phone started to take update !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
i dont know how, but it took update. enjoying it. this is just more than ossum and apps are working perfectly except x-plore.

You have added third party RAM to your computer. The first thing I would look at is that, many kernel panics are caused by RAM which can be:
Incorrect RAM (iMacs are extremely sensitive to this)
Failed RAM
Unseated RAM
Please removed the upgraded RAM that was added to the machine and then retest. If the machine works OK, that confirms it's a RAM issue.
On these forums the experienced users tend to all agree that RAM should come from a reputable supplier such as OWC (www.macsales.com) or Crucial.

you need to perform a master reset on your phone since the normal reset wont do it. but be mindful that when you do master reset, it will delete all of the contents of your phone memory so backup your data first on the comp and use ovi suite, visit these website for assistance on backup https://www.nokia.co.uk/ovisuite and click on how to. then once the backup is finish, dial these code on your phone *#7370# and lock code is 12345. it will get rid off that error message and then restore your backup file again from the ovi suite.

N97 keeps restarting itself and turning itself off...

A few months ago I bought an N97 from England and I have some very annoying bugs and a few questions I’d like to ask.
First of all, the phone keeps restarting itself (it is now up to 5 times a day if not more!!!), and at night it even turns itself off (I mean I wake up in the morning and the phone is off).
The other bug is that I cannot exit applications through the “open apps” menu (which is accessed by long-pressing the menu button). When I try to exit an application through there the phone crashes.
I did hard reset, soft reset, formatted E drive (each of those several times btw) and none of this helped. I took it to the nokia care center (the only one in Israel BTW!) and they said that they’ve never heard of those problems and it shouldn’t happen, so they reinstalled my firmware. After that didn’t work, I came back to them and they tried reinstalling the firmware again (they thought something maybe went wrong last time) and that didn’t work either. So I gave them my phone and they had it for 2 weeks during which they tried solving the problem themselves (not sure If that’s true) and after they failed, they sent it to the nokia factory\manufacturer lab in Israel (or at least that’s what they told me). In the first few days everything seemed ok and the phone did not restart itself (that menu bug was still happening) but after less than a week the phone restarted itself again. So I called them and they said it’s probably a bug in the V20 software and they reported it to nokia head quarters in Finland (yeah right…). Anyways… the “restarting itself” bug frequency was decreased substantially for a while, but now it’s back to restarting itself several times a day and turning itself completely off at night (it even happened to me during the day once or twice already-which never happened before).
I’ve read that hundreds (if not thousands) of other N97 owners have those problems too but I couldn’t find a solution. Anyone have any ideas???
Now… during my search in different forums I searched the one in the nokia Israel website and I accidently came across a replay that said that the “exit an app through the open app menu” bug only happens when the phone language is set to Hebrew! And guess what?! HES RIGHT! I changed the language of my phone to English and I have successfully exited the music player through the “open app” menu without the phone crashing! WHAT THE FU** IS GOING ON?! As I said, I’ve came across many other users who have this bug and they obviously don’t have Hebrew on their phone. How does that make any sense?!. Although I have no problem with English I’m more comfortable with my phone language being set to Hebrew since I got used to the buttons locations and now they are all “backwards” which is really annoying! (for example just now I wanted to put a call on loudspeaker but hung up because the 2 buttons have now switched sides).
Anybody knows anything about those bugs and\or how to fix them?!
Now… I would like to ask something:
I’ve noticed that my C drive only has 35MB of free memory. So I went into “memory details” and I see that 12MB is taken by “SIS applications” and 25MB (!!!) is taken by “other files”. I should mention that I put all my files and install all my apps on the E drive when given the choice (only apps from ovi store don’t give you that choice).
Is there any way I can see which applications and files (if it’s even possible for individual files) are installed on C so I can delete some of them? When I go to “phone memory” through “file manager” and I manually open all the folders there (games, images, installed files, nokia, other, sound files and all those), they are all empty. I mean I have a few files on C but they are some sort of text files and they weigh pretty much nothing… most of the folders are completely empty (some have 1 or 2 of those text files). Please help me!
Since I’m already posting this message, anybody knows anything about V21?! Ive read about some update that’s coming out on the 28th, but when I asked nokia care about V21 they said they don’t know anything about it. Anybody has any information regarding V21?

1. Did this start shortly after you installed a particular application?
-no. in fact, just to make sure, after the nokia people re-installed my firmware (which deleted everything from the C drive) i formatted the E drive and did not install anything to see if it still happens. sure enough after 2 days, the phone restarted.
2. Did this start after a firmware update?
-yes. it never happened before the V20 version. (or at least i havent noticed that it happened).
3. Have you tried reinstalling the firmware through Ovi/PC suite?
-this is how i installed it the first time. altough everyone says its bad and you shouldnt do it and you should go to the nokia center and they will do it for you.
about this... i dont understand why nokia is giving us a tool to update our software for free... but then say "you shouldnt use that tool. go to your nokia care center and they will do it for you" which wastes valuable time and money (not surprisngly... my warrenty doesnt apply in Israel so i have to pay for that kind of stuff). nokia is the biggest cellphone company in the WORLD! why cant they give an international warrenty?!

It probably is a software or hardware failure, however if this has happened from day one there is a chance that your simcard can cause this if it is faulty/old.
If you have a spare simcard of newer date or possibly less worn, you should try that a day or untill it restarts again if bringing it to the shop or a care point straight away is hard. However the care point might not discover the fault if you keep your simcard.
As suggested above, try updateing it and see how it goes, if it is the same, try another spare simcard if possible, if not do as already suggested.
Remember to back up your phones content before updating. Not to make you scared but if it is a hardware fault which could be likely, an update can go wrong - you never know if it turns off during it.
Backup and perform it. It's worth a shot as anyway you will probably have to visit a care point or replace it.

Lumia 1250 keeps restarting\rebooting

hi . i have a major problem with my lumia 1520 , the problem is whenever i charge it it gets 100% so fast while its supposed to be 8% or less. and when i unplug it i can't use it for more than 10 minutes until it shutdown and keeps restarting and showing Nokia name over and over until i plug it again . and even when i plug it it takes 5 to 8 minutes restarting until it turns on finally. so long story short i can't use it without charger and its really annoying me. i tried to hard\soft reset it but it never work.
also the moment it restarts the time\date wont sync it stopps on 22th of may . and i have to edit it manually every time it shutdown and turns on , which is more than 10 times a day. its so annoying and i dont know what to do.

For the time and date, it may take time after the restart for the phone to get the time and date from your network, assuming that your network supports the auto time update which not all do.
The charging issue is strange. You might try a forced software flash using the Software Recovery Tool, if you still have the same problem after that then you should have it checked by Microsoft.

An oc4j instance keeps restarting itself.

We have a issue that an oc4j instance is keeping restarting itself. It will stop, start, and as soon as it's started, it will stop again like an infinite loop.
Is there any one experienced this and please share some insight about this problem.

I'm sorry to hear about the issues with the new device. Try to press the power button until the phone vibrates 3 times. This is equal to taking the battery out. No data/settings lost
Observe if this happens when some particular application is open. If you notice a pattern, delete this application and see it makes a difference.
First of all please make a backup with Nokia Suite. Type in *#7780# followed by lock code (default is 12345). This is soft reset, no data lost but settings will be restored to factory state.
You can also reinstall the phone software. The process is the same as when updating with Nokia Suite, but at the end select "Reinstall".
If it's still the same, type in *#7370# followed by lock code. This is hard reset, phone memory will be wiped so make sure you have the backup. Restore the back up. If not all applications are restored, please re-download them from Nokia Store > My Stuff.
Hope the phone starts working normally.

E7-00 keeps restarting, when network coverage is l...

After upgrade to Belle refresh, my Nokia E7-00 keeps restarting when network coverage is very low, or gone.
I think, that this is an issue related to the phone's network connection, because the problem of the phone restarting is non-existing, when the phone is in offline-mode, and the problem is non-existing, when network connection is good.
The problem did not exists before upgrading to Belle-refresh.
Anyone experienced this, or any ideas to solve the problem´?

my nokia x6 keeps swiching itself off whenever i go on wifi connectivity, it switches off and restarts by itself, ive only had the phone 2 months and havent had any problems apart from the freezing lol, can anyone help please?

What software version do you have on your phone? Is it network branded or unbranded?
Latest firmware is V21. If you do not have that try updating to latest firmware.

HELP!! N900 KEEPS RESTARTING

Good Morning and Happy Lunar New Year. I need some help desperately. I tried turning on my phone and guess what? It just keeps restarting and if I hear the Nokia start up tune one more time, I might go MAD!
The phone appears to go through the start up cycle, the hands touch and guess what? It does is again!!! I have tried taking out the battery, removing sim card, plugging in the phone, turning it off and on multiple times and still nothing. Please, please help me

6300 keeps restarting

I've just purchased a Nokia 6300 and have noticed that it keeps re-starting... certain things trigger it off:
1. When I try to connect to the internet (this keeps happening)
2. When I send a text message (this has happened once)
3. When I play a video (this has happened once)
4. When I make a phone call (this has happened a few times)
5. When I connect via the USB cable and start to copy files on to the phone (this has happened a few times)
... as you can see it happens an awful lot and its annoying. Is this a fault with the phone or the sim or something else?

I have exactly the same problem. I purchased a Nokia 6300 last Friday 7th Sept. It keeps restarting. I think that there is a problem with the phone or a batch of phones. Nokia Care has not yet recognised the problem as the phone did not fail in the 20min I was there. Anyway I think I can now get it to fail on demand so lets see tomorrow.
