Nokia E6 - Unable to catch nokias' bluetooth devic...

Hi,
Why the Nokia E6 is not comfortable with each nokia devices. I tried my bluetooth headset 'Nokia 04', but the mobile is unable to catch it. Anybody have idea, why did not catching it?

one technician at my workplace installed a signal repeater because we're too close to the tower. That is the only thing I can think of. I do not even know how they work but it seems they are frequency specific which means you'll probably need one for each network if you use different networks in the house

  • Nokia 3161: Listen to radio via bluetooth device

I have a Nokia 6131 and want to listen to the radio via a standard bluetooth device. I am unable to accomplish this because the phone requires a wired headset to be connected to the phone. The wire of the headset functions as the antenna and if no wired headset is connected the radio cannot be activated. As long as a wired headset is connected to the 6131 no bluetooth device can be paired to the phone and if the wired headset is connected after a bluetooth device is paired, the existing link to the bluetooth device is automatically deactivated. Does anyone know how to solve this?

Thanks for the quick response. May I label this design decision from Nokia as not very clever! In stronger words: to me is appears to be a flaw, because it now causes that I can indeed listen to music via my bluetooth device if it is stored on my Nokia 3161 but I cannot listen to the radio-device on the same Nokia 3161 without physically connecting the wired headset. And all this just because the radio requires the wired headset as an antenna! Am I, as a non-technical consumer, expected to understand this? Can't this designflaw be mended via a software update of the firmware. Maybe somebody from Nokia can respond to this?

  • T520 Unable to find any bluetooth device

I bought a bluetooth adapter and turned my bluetooth speaker discoverable but it still cant find anything. All drivers are up to date.
and my roommate's mac pro can search my bluetooth devices...

Bluetooth is supported only for stereo headsets/speakers, handsfree telephone devices/headsets, some peer-to-peeer apps from the app store, some keyboards and tethering where provided by the carrier.
Other than these, it will not connect to any computer/device/phone.

I have no bluetooth problem after updating to 4.3.5. Have you tried un-pairing the devices, then pairing them as new devices? Have you tried Reset Network Settings? And have you seen this: iOS: Wi-Fi or Bluetooth settings grayed out or dim

  • [SOLVED] Gnome 3.8: Unable to use Nokia N9 as a Bluetooth modem

    Hi,
I'm unable to use my Nokia N9 mobile phone as a bluetooth modem. Phone and Gnome get paired OK, and I have even managed to get my phone recognized as a modem. However, Networkmanager complains that it can't find the modem.
Any ideas on how to fix this?

  • NOKIA E90: UNABLE TO PERFORM BLUETOOTH OPERATION

    Hi guys,
It's two weeks since, I'm having problems with my Nokia E90 mobile phone: when I try to activate my bluetooth, after a few seconds I receive the message "Unable to perform bluetooth operation", but this doesn't work in this way permanently because some times works and some times doesn't work, it occurs trying to connect to my vehicle free-hands device or even just activating bluetooth.
I can't understand what's happening because til now my bluetooth device worked fine.
So, could anybody help me? because now I'm working with my USB connection, but this is not very operative.
    Thanks in advance!!!

Exactly the same problem over here:
    -FW 210.34.75 newly installed
    -No paired devices listed
    -Device is set visible
When trying to switch on Bluetooth, the error message above keeps appearing.
Reset to factory settings (using *#7370#) doesn't give any improvement.
In short: BT has become useless after the FW update.
Any suggestions to resolve this problem will be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks in advance,
    Erik
i heard the 210 sw is only a beta software and is for testing only... it could be causing you the problem...

  • My Nokia N9 unable 2 use bluetooth

    Hi,
my nokia n9 can't send via bluetooth like sharing images n music whenever i try doin so its says "the file format is wrong, cant share files of that type". A couple of days ago my Nokia N9 was able 2 share files bt nw i dont knw what went wrong...plz plz help me

    @Bujabuks
Presumably you are using N9 as it comes, rather than trying to transfer material via the likes of QAD File Manager?
Do other native file sharing features such as email & nfc work?

  • Nokia Store unable to launch

Frndz i am using Nokia E7 with symbia Anna, and unfortunately i unistalled Nokia Store from my device by this the store icon from menu has removed. Then I install the store app again on my device but i unable toh launch it as the store widget is missing.. Please help me out.!

    @MrH672
You could always backup device using Nokia Suite on PC then in Options > Software updates - choose to re-install existing software version.
Another option might be to install Store QML Client from Nokia Beta Labs http://betalabs.nokia.com/apps/store-qml-client by signing in with Nokia ID & password.

  • Nokia 2730 says "pairing rejected by other device"...

    Hi,
Bluetooth is active on my phone.
Visibility is set to "show to all".
I go to "paired devices" and choose "add new device"
My HP Vista laptop is found.
I hit 'add' and get asked for a password which I don't have, so I try various codes such as 0000
    "Adding to paird dev list"
My lap top says "a bluetooth device is requesting to connect - click this message"
I click the message an my phone says "pairing rejected by other device".
Any help would be much appreciated.
    Thanks,
    Mike

OK I rebooted PC and all problems solved I can send files both ways
SO I am very happy, more of a PC problem than nokia I think.
USB devices seem to be prone to screwing up, a reboot usually cures em.

In which country are you? This could be a Trojan Horse, Nokia has to track down.
Anyway, please, do a backup with the PC Suite or the Nokia Suite.
Then try Nokia Software Recovery Tool. Did that help?

  • Nokia N8 unable to add mailbox, anyone facing this...

Nokia N8 unable to add mailbox, anyone facing this issue?
It prompt add mailbox but without option to let us choose either ovi mail, hotmail, yahoo mail, or other (like what we usually have), I just able to key in mail address & password, after click tick then exit. No mail added.
    Please help!!

It usually means that you don't have any SIM card inserted and mobile data or wlan connection available. The email app goes online to download a list of available email services for your country. If it can't go online then it just presents the options you mention.

  • Nokia E71 possible to auto-activate bluetooth only...

Nokia E71- possible to auto-activate bluetooth only when receive s call?
I have Nokia J bh-806 bluetooth which activates only when remove it from clip. This way it saves bluetooth battery. I wonder if is possible to auto turn on phone bluetooth with some application ,only when receive a call because since I activate it bluetooth battery of the phone (e71) is reduced to 50%.

    Hi,
There's no application that can do that actually. and the phone itself does not have the said feature. You have to manually turn on the bluetooth of the phone if you want to connect to your bluetooth headset.
    Thanks,
