Nokia e63 java apps install problem

i faced a problem, when i install any java software it not installed show"unable to install".now what can i do?

Hey Ra1f, Welcome to the Nokia Forums!
Please try and perform a soft reset *#7780# but first create a back up of your device on Nokia Suite.
If this does not work please download Store QML from betalabs and try and redownload your Java applications.
I hope this helps, let me know how you get along.

  • E63 JAVA Apps Problem

I updated the E63 firmware to the latest version (v410). But after that, the existing some of my previously installed JAVA apps are no longer showing in Installations (although they are shown as installed in App Manager). And the JAVA apps which are shown, cannot be launched. That is, I click on them but nothing happens. Also I cannot uninstall any JAVA apps and also cannot install any JAVA apps. PLEASE HELP!

Sometime I've had .sis installers hang at the start of installation, but a reboot always fixed the problem.  If rebooting your phone and/or disabling any antivirus/security software you may have installed doesn't help, then I'm afraid your only solution is to back up your data and perform a hard reset (*#7370# , default password 12345).  But before making work for yourself, download that program again or try installing a different Java program, just to make sure.  Good luck!

so i updated to SP3 , but same problem

Just downloaded Intensify from app store.  It says it installed but when I click on the dock icon it brings up an application list where most apps including Intensify are grayed out.  Now what?

Problem solved.  Nothing wrong with app store install.  Intensify looks for a photo the first time it gets opened after installation.  All I had to do was select a photo and the GUI came up nice nice.

    Hi there rajesh_mp,
You may want to try force closing all open apps and resetting the device as an initial troubleshooting step. Take a look at the articles below for more information.

I can't access ovi on my nokia E63, but have no problem on my pc. It says I have the wrong sign in info, but works fine on my pc. What can I do?

    Welcome to the forum!
Hopefully someone will post a less destructive solution for you, but provided essential data is backed up first, you may have to restore device to "Out of box" state by keying in *#7370# followed by 12345 (default Nokia lock code unless altered by yourself) in case of corrupt data entry here.

  • Nokia E63-1 unable to install Java apps

My Nokia E63-1 (100.21.110) UK , East Africa is unable to install Java applications, Opera Mini from various sources, the opera website , getjar and other sites just doesnt install. Nimbuzz .sisx version installed perfectly and so did Google Maps Symbian version, but their Java versions could not. I've set my Installation setting to all and disabled the online certificate check. With ALL Java apps what happens is it begins the process them abruptly disconnects the internet connection. I've tried using both local carriers, so its not the network, symbian apps work just fine, I installed and use Joikuspot, but the lack of Opera Mini is really bad for me. Please help

    You could try reseting your device;
Reformat - Type *#7370# and the phone's lock code (Nokia default lock code is 12345). Warning! This reset wipes your C drive/phone memory! Also, on Symbian^3 devices mass memory gets wiped too.
