i could swear this headset was listed as compatible with E65,now its not on the list anymore....
can someone verify or confirm the compatibility?

I tried to sync my e65 with my macbook [os X leopard] with isync but its not supported. Tho, I read in your site that after adding a plugin, it should work. I tried to find this plugin but your site says links are broken.
I want to sync my contacts and calendar, i prefer using isync, but if theres another way to backup my info, please let me know.

Unable to connect Nokia 5130 with Nokia Music - Ca...

I've never had this much trouble with a Nokia before
I can't connect the mobile phone with Nokia Ovi music software, however the phone can be connected
through USB and Bluetooth to the PC and files can be transferred between...
So I can legally download the music with Nokia Ovi but I can't use them. this whole program seems like a huge glitch to me. <Yes I have the 1 free year of music download service that came with the cell phone>
I can transfer the music to the phone though Nokia Ovi Suite using Bluetooth, but not with Nokia Ovi player, however they do not work because they are protected files!?!
Someone please tell me how to proceed ?! Nokia Ovi player only says the mobile phone has been connected in an inappropriate way... very confusing... whats the problem ??
I have reinstalled all the software and drivers several times. I'm running Windows Vista SP2.

I think the issue here has to do with the drivers... everytime I reinstall everything and connect the phone through USB the windows starts installing some drivers... why? shouldn't it all be there once I install using the CD I got with my phone?
Wouldn't be the first time Windows messes up drivers.. what can I do?

Nokia N8 with Nokia Belle does not recognize heads...

My headset (WH-701) is no longer recognized by my nokia N8 after I had updated to nokia belle. I first have to put my headset into the 3,5 mm AV connector before being recognized, and even then the headset may stop working after a few minutes. Once the headphone is working I still cannot make use of the (music)buttons on the headset (louder, softer, next, previous, etc.) Please can someone help with this problem? There must be a solution for this? I am using the headphones every day.
I know that already started on several topics, but Nokia has still not responded to this problem!

if you are having problems with your phone, you can try checking via the phone itself or via Nokia Suite, if there are any firmware updates available, and to please update to the latest version offered. If there are no updates, try re-installing your current firmware, and if that doesn't work, then Restoring to factory settings. Failing that, perform a three-finger hard reset and if that doesn't work either, then you will need to take your phone to your local Nokia Care point for them to inspect.

Nokia Maps with Nokia 6220 classic

I got a 90 day free trial with Nokia Maps
But everytime I try to use it it says
No Internet Connectoin. Select Options > Tools > Go Online.
I do that and the same thing happens.
All I can see is a light green screen with a red dot in the middle on Nokia Maps
Internet doesn't work for me either.

If you have a generous data plan you can download maps on demand I suppose but not very practical if roaming. When they say voice navigation they actually mean navigation to include voice navigation, so you have to pay to use your phone for navigation. However, unlike other sat navs where you have to pay for map updates, with Nokia Maps, all map updates are free for as long as your license is valid.

Connection problem of Nokia 6151 with Nokia Music

Hi,
I have a Nokia 6151 (RM-200), Firmwareversion 4.1.0 (which is the latest available), and the Nokia Music program (v. 1.3.20722.01). The USB connection cable type for connecting to my PC (Windows XP Home SP 2) is CA-53. In the past, when the music manager was integrated into the Nokia PC Suite, I had no problem with connecting the phone to the PC, and copying music to and from the mobile device. But since Nokia Music is a separate program, I am unable to connect the phone to it (note: this only refers to Nokia Music; the connection to Nokia PC Suite works fine). Whenever I try to connect, I get the error message that the device is connected in the wrong mode, and that I should select either "Media-Player", or "Printing & Media", or "Media-Data-Transfer" mode. But none of these modes is availableon my device. The modes actually available there are rather "Default Mode", "Printing", or "Data Storage".
Just as a further note: I have already un-installed the connectivity cable drivers, and re-installed the latest modules. To no avail. Can anything be done here? Is my device model (6151) at all suitable to be connected to Nokia Music?

I have contacted Nokia support directly, and I have been told than indeed the 6151 does not work with the newest version of Nokia Music. Only thing what helps is to re-install an older version of Nokia PC Suite, where Nokia Music is still integrated.

Nokia E65 with Third party GPS

Hello,
I have a E65 and I just got as a gift a GPS bluetooth JRT-29.
I can pair the device but when i open Tom Tom or Nokia Maps or even Navigator it reconizes the bluetooth device but it does not connect to the satelites.
According to the instructions i have read it alwasy say the GPS must be connected via Port Com 8 and this option i can not setup on E65.
Btw i also try the GPS on a N73.. no results. can not get connected.
Do you guys have any ideia?

I wish that I could be more positive but it does seem that since there are now Nokia LD-3W and LD-4W BT GPS receivers available, that more connectivity problems have been reported using non-Nokia GPS units with more recent phone software updates. The N73 especially has given problems in this respect.

Nokia e65 and Jabra bluetooth headset

As a new user I am experiencing a problem, I have a Jabra BT 250 Bluetooth headset, old but trusted, it works fine but each time I want to connect to phone it will not automatically recognise so I have to connect manually - a real pain!

Thanks for the quick respond. You are simply great! I was pretty mad at myself cos' I throw away the headset's instruction so that mean I throw away the paring code given but then I gave "0000" a try hoping it will work, and oh boy, it did!
Now the only thing is I discover the SE2300's volume control, forward/backward song and the pause feature work fine but the only down side is once I pause the music using the SE2300, I can never get it to play again via the SE2300 as such I have to resort to pressing the "Play" button on my E71.
Is there a way to work around so that my SE2300 can pause and play?

Hi, I have configured properly the nokia E65 with WPA2-PSK + AES-CCMP and it works. Also I have configured some Nokia E51 and N95 and both are working well. But now I have another problems with the E65. When I try to transfer a call to the E65 the phone restarts automatically. It can make and receives call, but it cannot receive a transfer call. I have the updated to the last version and no changes. The E51 and N95 work perfectly and receive the call without any problem. Has anyone the same problem?

Nokia Belle at this time does not support playback of flash video. This is known and will be corrected in a future update. Unfortunately we have no known timeframe for this. The easiest solution would be to convert your flash video to another supported format such as MP4.
Shortly after updating to Nokia Belle you should receive a request to update the Nokia Store. If you did not see this notification you can use the phone browser to get the latest version by going to: http://lr.ovi.mobi/store/new-symbian-3 or by installing the new QML store client currently in beta from here.

You can use either Nokia PC Suite or Nokia Suite with Nokia E5. Its always advisable to use the latest available versions which can be downloaded thru' the links provided ..

Nokia 6310i with the earphone

I have 2 questions for those, who happen to use Nokia 6310i with NOKIA HDC-9 (or other) wired earphone.
1. When there's an incoming call, can I also hear my phone ringing in the earphone?

I am a newby to this board. I have a very narrow question. I have just bought a used car that has installed kit set up for a Nokia 6301i. As this appears to be an old model I want to buy a new one that will function in the car set-up. Will a Nokia 6201 work in the 6301i car set-up? Is there a better alternative to the 6201 without changing thr car kit? I don't need any fancy functions merely the phone.

i have a small problem. My Nokia E65 has the Firmware Version:

Nokia E65
The Nokia Software-Update Newsfeed says a Update to Version 2.0633.65.01 is available. When i try to Update my Cell, the Software Updater says a new version is not available which means i can not update my Nokia.
Why is that? Can someone help?

Problem to update my NOKIA E71 with Ovi Suite

Hi everybody,
Since this morning i've tried to update the software of my Nokia E71 with Nokia Ovi Suite.
So first i save my old things (pictures, messages, ....) and then when i want to start the update i get ALWAYS this message:

It says: "Connexion whith the mobile has been lost"
Even if my E71 is connected with my computer by USB !!!

Hi,
I guess the installation of Ovi Suite is corrupted, please follow the steps provided below to assist you in this regard
Step 1
- Go to Progam and Features in Control Panel
- Click Ovi Suite
- Click Repair.
Once repair is completed then please restart computer and check.
If Step 1 didnt work, then try the below step
Step2
-Go to Progam and Features in Control Panel
- Click Ovi Suite
- Click Uninstall
Also uninstall the following f
- Nokia Connectivity Cable Driver
- PC connectivity Solution
Then right click my computer, click manage.
- Device Manager-Ports- If you find anything by name Nokia please unistall ( Dont remove anything else)
Then reinstall windows Installer from the link provided below

- Then restart computer.
- Download and install Ovi Suite
- Restart Computer again
- Connect the device, dont open Ovi Suite and wait for all the driver to be loaded by windows.
- Once done then lauch Ovi Suite.
