Nokia E71 multiscanner re-installed but not workin...

I JUST FORMATTED MY NOKIA E71.
AS YOU ALL KNOW , THE MULTI SCANNER DOES NOT SHOW UP AFTER A FORMAT.
BUT WITH THE HELP OF GUYS ON THE NOKIA DISCUSSION BOARD, I FOUND A SITE TO RE INSTALL MY MULTISCANNER APPLICATION.
IT WORKED LIKE A CHARM.
BUT NOW.....
EVERYTIME I USE IT ON A CARD... AND CLICK THE CAMERA... IT SAYS " READING CARD INFORMATION"
AND THEN... BLANK... NOTHING.. IT READS NOTHING!!!
PLEASE HELP!!

I have a similar problem with Multiscanner after installing Abby BCR on my N95. The test version of Abby stopped working after scanning a few businesscards and before the one day trial period was over with the message "no contact fields found". The problem is that the businesscard reader in Multiscanner also stopped working, I get the message "No layout blocks were recognized". The textscanner in Multiscanner still works fine, so suspect this problem is connected to Abby since both businesscard readers stopped working at the same time with similar messages. I've tried reinstalling the Nokia software on my phone and then reinstalling Multiscanner, but it still won't work. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to fix this?

E71 - Dictionary languages install, but not showin...

When I download and install a new Dictionary pack, in this case Vietnamese, the install appears to work, yet when opening the Dictionary application only English is listed, and I get the same request to download another language.
I have downloaded the language directly to my phone, as well as transferred it and then installed, same result.
More info, the language is listed in Application Manager and I am able to remove it.
Any ideas? Or recommendations for a Good English - Vietnamese for my device?
Further Update: I was able to install another Language (in this case Afrikaans) just fine, so it seems it's the Vietnamese language pack from Nokia that is the issue.

Hi all, you can find various language dictionaries at MOSH by nokia website, I have downloaded a Chinese / English dictionary & it works find.

I have no idea what "Breathing" means but when i go to the instructions menu and click on "Navigationwheel" the only question I get is Breathing on/off So yeah i turned it on ofcourse but when I rotate with my finger NOTHING HAPPENS!!
PLEASE HELP!!!
P.S. I watched a video at youtube it being preformed so i don't need no one to tell me that it isn't possible!!

And we don't need anyone with that kind of attitude.
What you saw on YouTube must have been a pre-production prototype. The production version does not have a navi-wheel. The setting on the phone is for the breather (glowing light around the central button of the D-pad).

Issue with ARD 3.0 not pushing out Installs, Says its installing but not
Has anyone seen this. It seems to happen with ARD 3, have not seen this in ARD 2.
I go to the Install Packages on Target Computers, put in: 10.4.7 Combo (for the correct CPU, PPC or Intel), security updates, QT 7.1.2, etc.
Push it to Macs I can connect to, observe and control.
The progress bar copies the files (in some instances it does not) and then it just hangs there, bar does not move, Installs never finish, not good, very odd.

Is it the same clients that have the problem every time? Are those clients doing anything cpu intensive? Have you tried rebooting the affected clients?
Maybe try a smaller package on those clients.

Installed but not found on computer

I've successfully installed the latest 10.1 for my 64-bit laptop with Windows 7. A check by Adobe confirms that it was properly installed, and that I have the correct version for my computer.
AND YET, there is no icon for it anywhere, it doesn't come up on my list of Programs, when I enter "Adobe Flash Player" in the search bar it shows no such program, and when I try to play a FLV file, it won't give me Flash Player as an option. So..... I have it on my computer, but I apparently am not allowed to see it or access it?
I've uninstalled and re-installed several times, and cannot for the life of me figure out what the problem is. Any help for this maddening situation?

Yes, I read his comments and I made sure Shockwave Flash Object was enabled in IE as he suggested. I am trying to make a flip book. One of the posts here in the forum said to make a SWF file, which I did. But now I can't figure out how to do anything with it. I thought Flash Reader was the right program to look at it, but maybe I'm wrong? Maybe I need Flash itself? The flip book thing has me pretty frustrated and confused. All the sites and software I've tried are poor quality. I was hoping I could figure out how to do it through Adobe to get better quality.

Hi, Flash Player is a browser plugin, not a stand alone Player. You should have Shockwave Flash Object in add ons in IE and make sure it is enabled.
Your Flash files are in C:\Windows\SysWOW64\Macromed\Flash
You may want the Adobe Media Player:http://www.adobe.com/products/mediaplayer/

I'm having some hiccups getting Adobe to register the software, but since I set it as the default .pdf reader during setup, things try (and fail) to open in the as yet unregistered software. How can I change it temporariiy to the Acrobat Reader XI that I have installed?

I'd opened file with the 'Open with' feature then clicking Adobe Reader,
but that didn't do it. When I used 'Open with', then 'Choose default
program...', it worked like a charm.

After the installation did you restart the computer? If you go into Control Panel>Programs and Features do you see BlackBerry Desktop Software listed in the applications?

Hi Anne,
Your version of Safari is still supported. Please see Adobe Flash Player | Tech specs for supported OS and browsers.
If the Flash Player plugin is in the Plug-ins (disabled) folder it's because it's an older version that Apple has disabled in Safari. This has nothing to do with whether or not Flash Player supports the browser.
I'm not sure what you mean by "when i click on flash player itself i am told there is no application to open it." Flash Player.plugin only works in the browser to view Flash content in the browser. The plugin does not open files outside of the browser. If you have SWF files you'd like to view outside of the browser, then you'll need the Flash Player projector. However, based on your previous comments this doesn't appear to be what you are trying to do.
Google Chrome does embed Flash Player in it, while Firefox does not. Mozilla has also recently started blocking older versions of Flash Player in Firefox similar to what Apple is doing in Safari.
Following the 'clean install' instructions should result in you having the latest version of Flash Player installed that will not be blocked by the browser.

Flash is installed ,but not seen by Chrome or Firefox

Shockwave Flash 15.0 r0
This is installed but not being recognized by either firefox or chrome. I am on a WIN 8.1 pc and IE does not work so it is disabled/turned off. It does not even open anyway. How do I fix this?

Delete the files extensions.* (extensions.rdf, extensions.cache, extensions.ini) and compatibility.ini in the Firefox [[Profiles|profile folder]] to reset the extensions registry.

If you see disabled extensions that are not compatible on the next start in "Tools > Add-ons > Extensions" then click the "Find Updates" button to do a compatibility check.

ADE installed but not recognized

I am using Windows 10, a Nook, My Media Mall. ADE is installed, my computer authorized and I am activated. When I download an E book, it appears to be downloaded, but when I try "open with" the only option showing is Adobe Reader. Then, I look for other programs but ADE is not listed as an option. Is there something I have not done?

Windows 7 and IE 11 ... I also use Firefox, for business only.

This doesn't give me the expect result.

Hi,
EASTL-BIS Not Equal to 31.12.9999 This is to avoid the devices which are Billing related installed as this is left outer join on EGERH and EASTL so this will fetch the records which are present in EGERH and in EASTL; and also the records which are in EGERH and not in EASTL.
EASTL Not Equal to 00.00.0000 This is optional. if you want only the devices which were sometime installed billing related (example-device was billing related removed after few days)

Can I uninstall iis when sharepoint is installed but not configured

Hi Experts!!!
Just a small doubt. Will be gladful if any one can help.
Can we uninstall IIS and reinstall it again, when SharePoint is already installed but not configured.
The scenario is, I do not have the SharePoint Licence Key for SharePoint, that is why I do not want to uninstall Sharepoint.
Also I do not want to reach Admin Team for this, otherwise they will take their own time to uninstall and install SharePoint.
I feel somewhere that IIS was not properly installed that is why I want to do a reinstallation.
Can someone provide any quick help.

Yep. You can uninstall IIS and leave SharePoint installed. It is only files at the disk. All sharepoint's XML config files will be deleted, also. Than You can instal IIS role again.
You should ask admin team to do a snapshot of a SharePoint server before start. I didn't do it, and can be mistaken.
