Nokia Lumia compatible headsets

Hi
Since i've purchased my Lumia 1020 i'm looking to buy in-ear headset that has the capability to control volume / answer and hang up / microphone just like the apple headset.
But unfortunately in Australia no one sells Nokia compatible accessories and none of the headphones out there clams to work on windows phone.
I tried to get an answer from Nokia through twitter and had no reply.
All i want is a headset can do the features mentioned above for a reasonable price that would be great.
if you have an answer to my problem can you reply with the brand - model number - price and website that would be great .
thanks

hi mate, check these out, i reviewed them over on my blog a few weeks ago, they are the Nokia Coloud Pop headset and perform exactly what you want (tested it myself with my 1020): http://www.mobilezap.com.au/40234-coloud-pop-nokia-headphones---wh-510---red.htm
they come in funky colours and have great audio quality .

  • Nokia Lumia 1520 not finding Bluetooth headsets

    Hello
I have a nokia Lumia 1520 and it won't connect to the two bluetooth headsets I have. They are not even showing up to connect to.
I tried with a Microsoft Xbox 360 Wireless Headset (bluetooth version 3.0) and a Sony MBH10 (bluetooth version 1.2). Can you give me a list of compatible bluetooth headsets and/or what version of bluetooth I need for it to be to work with my lumia 1520? My phone is updated with the latest updates and I also tried to connect via bluetooth to my other phone a Nokia E6 and it did connect succesfully.

The devices you are trying to connect to the phone have to be in the bluetooth pairing mode before the phone will see them in bluetooth.
Read up on how to put the headsets in pairing mode.  Should be in the literature that came with them.

  • Most compatible headset for Nokia E5-00 available ...

I have been using a Nokia E5 handset for over an year and am very comfortable with it. Recently I lost its stock headset while commuting and couldn't buy another similar one, hence ended up buying the WH-205 headset compatible with this handset. Only issue is despite my trying out all the earbuds provided with this headset, the headset just doesn't stay in my ears. It keeps popping out even when I am sitting in office and not on the move.
Have checked with a couple of Nokia Priority Partners on any other headset fully compatible with my E5, which is not an in-ear-headset, but was told Nokia doesn't have any options besides WH-205 for this handset model currently. Moreover, with Nokia shifting focus to Lumia, and having unceremoniously dumped an intuitive S60 handset like E5, I am left with no choice but to consider headset from other manufacturers.
Would appreciate if someone can help me with the make / model of any other (preferably) non in-ear headset which is fully compatible with my Nokia E5 handset. Have checked some Cowon EM1 and Skullcandy ones which don't work with this handset, hence seek help from others. Thanks.

  • Compatible headset for Nokia 603

    Dear All,
I bought Nokia 603, three months ago which came with WH-207 headset. But within a couple of months problems started and now its totally gone! Totally not working. So I decided to get a new pair of headphones, but WH-207 was nowhere available and I was forced to buy a headset which comes with Nokia Lumia phone models but that doesnt work with Nokia 603 at all. As soon I plug in, I get a message: "Accessory not Supported!"
There's not a single Nokia store I havent visited, but I simply cant find a compatible headset. Nokia should at least shouldn't have stopped WH-207 given the fact that they knew it was of poor quality. I am feeling cheated coz I spent all my savings on this phone.
Can anyone plz tell me any other models of headset compatible with Nokia 603
    Thanks in advance

  • Nokia Lumia 800 + Xbox 360 BT headset = Best Combi...

I just tested out my Xbox 360 BT headset w/ my Nokia Lumia 800 and it works much better than my Plantronics BT headset. Speaker is louder, connection is a breeze, I know I would always have to pair my phone every time w/ the Plantronics BT, w/ the Xbox 360 BT it connects everytime. Another thing I was surprised at was it supports ADP2, so you can listen to your music or watch netflix and hear the audio through your Xbox 360 BT headset. If you're looking for a headset try the Xbox 360 BT headset.

the phone is almost 3 years old they may not update it..  But then again there are suprise around every corner sometimes.  People with the 830 are waiting for an update also. When the update came out the phone was about two years old.  Now we expect GDR2. On the Microsoft update page there are seven AT&T Lumia phones. There would be eight but the 830 is no longer listed. Did AT&T have it removed ? Only three of these phones have the Denim update available, that is 37.5%.  Is AT&T even trying, I don't think so.  The same models of phones all over the world have been updated. Now WP10 is coming up. Microsoft says they will update WP10 directly, no carrier in the middle and they say it will be available to all phones and only phones running Lumia Denim, OS version 8.10.14219.341 or higher can be upgraded.  So, the phone has to have at least Denim before you can update. Will Windows 10 update be available for my Lumia phone? We bought two 920's from AT&T in 2012. Wife is still using hers and I replaced mine with a 1520.3 last year. It has Qi wireless charging and 32GB memory, not the AT&T version. We no longer have a contract and never will, using 'bring your own phone'.The other 62.5% of the Lumia phone users with AT&T probably feel the same way.

  • W510 not compatible with Nokia 5800 XpressMusic headset (earpiece)?

    Hi all,
Have anyone came across this problem? I have 2 of those headset and I tried both in my W510. When I played any music source, the sound is so diffused like as if it works like a surround speaker that only produce presence sound. To get the vocal, I have to shift the Balance to the extreme left or right. First time encounter such problems. However, other headset work fine with my W510.

did you update your phone to the latest firmware for your phone currently it is v30......but it just got released so it may not be avaliable for all product codes just yet. also is your phone unbranded./unlocked if that is the case then you have a better change of updating than with a provider.
     http://europe.nokia.com/get-support-and-software/download-software/device-software-update
you can also try FOTA from your phone by plugging *#0000# on your home screen and see if your phone can pulll the updates.

  • Nokia Lumia 1520 - Bluetooth and Data Connectivity...

Hi - i recently updated my Nokia lumia 1520 with a new firmware that Nokia tool told me being available.  after that i have consistantly having bluetooth connectivity issues and Data connectivity issues.
i have a Jabra Clipper bluetooth headset which .  i am no longer able to pair it. it detect and says jabra clipper, then starts pairing, then simply says couldn't connect.
if i have wifi on, if i go out of range of the WIFI signal, my data connection stops working as well.  this is 100% of the time.  i have to reboot my phone to get data connectivity back.
    Its on Lumia Cyan
    manufacturer name: RM-937-im_mea3_1019
    core build id: 7030.80
    bsp release: 2061.0066
    applicatoin versoin: 3.11.2.1
    build creation date: 7/8/2014
    from Nokia software recovery tool:
    Product Code: 059V479
    Software Version: 02061.00066.14253.40002

Because I am just an end-user like you and I do not have your hardware combination here, I can only give general advice. Could be a new interoperability issue between these two devices, introduced with Lumia Cyan. Could be a old wrong pair-key. Or could be interfering between your Bluetooth and Wi-Fi (Bluetooth Adaptive Channel Hopping). Therefore, let us start with the Bluetooth part:
on the Nokia Lumia 1520, Settings » Wi-Fi » Off (to avoid any interference)
on the Nokia Lumia 1520, Settings » Bluetooth » On
(status: paired) tap and hold your Jabra CLIPPER » delete (if paired already)
on the Jabra CLIPPER, press and hold the multi-function button until the indicator light is solid blue (approximately 6 seconds) to activate the paring mode
Your Bluetooth headset should appear in your phone now. After you tapped on it, it should be paired successfully. Does it?
If not, start over again and between step 1 and 2, power off both Jabra CLIPPER and Nokia Lumia 1520.
If it still does not work, start over and between step 1 and 2, please hold volume down + power until the Nokia Lumia 1520 turns off (soft reboot; do not forget to set your date/time afterwards).
If it still does not work, start over and between step 1 and 2, turn off your Wi-Fi access point.
    Does it work now?

  • Connectivity Issue in nokia lumia 730 dual sim

I am facing a problem from last couple of days. My phone failed to retrieve data connection while I am turning it on after I switched it off for several hours. I need to do a reboot or sim change every time to get it. Please help me in this issue.

Hi, subha686. Does this issue happen regardless of your location? Have you tried to use the SIM card in another compatible phone just to check if you'll still encounter a problem retrieving data connection? You may try the steps provided here: Nokia Lumia 730 Dual SIM - Troubleshooter.
Note that the link is intended for a specific region, but you can still try the recommended troubleshooting steps.

Just because you reply doesn't necessarily make that comment of yours "help".
It would appear to me you are not looking for help, you want to hear someone say you are correct. Anything else you seem to discard as irrelevant.
If you want to know what the exact specs the microsSD slot on the 810/82x or 620 are you'll need to talk to Nokia about this. Probably the best place to start would be the developer.nokia.com site or contact Nokia Care and ask for this to be escalated to the specialists who can answer it.
All anyone here can so is quote available information resources as we are all 'just' users here and not Nokia Employees. This is a user to user support forum after all, not a 'Direct to Nokia' platform.
So use the proper channels and stop being so condescending towards people trying to provide information and/or help as best they can.
We understand what you are asking, it's just that the Class10 UHS-I specs are way beyond what is required for the purpose of the SD card in a mobile phone and so it would stand to reason Nokia does not design the interface to take this spec into account, if only for the added cost to the device. Also the MicroSD 'standard' is far from that (a standard) and there is plenty of variation..
In general a regular Class 6 microSD card will be able to deal with anything you can throw at it, with room to spare, when used in the 620 so anything above that would be overkill and would only mean you are wasting money on a more expensive card that may or may not work.

  • Nokia Lumia 800 to TV

Has anyone managed to connect there Nokia Lumia 800 to there tv? using the adaperters you can buy to convert mini USB into HDMI ?
    Dave

There is an app for that! "Play to" NOT "Lumia Play To", it's too recent to be compatible with our antiquated phone. Download Play To on your Lumia, do the set up, make sure you TV is connected through the internet LAN, or something else. We had ours (Sharp Aquos) connected over WiFi, but the app worksz over WiFi, so connect the TV through a line. after the set up choose what you want your phone to stream TO (your TV) then install the Xmovies8 app, download a movie you want to see and take it from a 5"
    screen to a 64"!!! word!
