Nokia Luna BH-220w in Yellow in America

Does anyone know where I can purchase a matching yellow Nokia Luna in the states?  It seems I can only find model BH-220 which only comes in White, Black, Fuschia, Blue, and Green.

    I got a Nokia Luna BH-220 yesterday. Sadly I cant use it for some weird reason.
    When I plug it into the cradle on charging, red lights glow on both the cradle and the headset. When it remove it, the red light just goes off on the headset. I can't detect it on the bluetooth of an Lumia device in my house. Tried Lumia 625, Lumia 520, Lumia 710.
    I tried removing it from the cradle and putting it back in, sometimes the cradle shows a green light instead of red. Not sure what this means. The manual hardly has anything telling about color indications.
    I tried pushing the button on the headset many times, holding it for 5 seconds, 9 seconds as suggested by links on the forum.
    What is wrong? How do I get to use it? How long should the first charge take? Or is faulty and needs replacement?

    This may suggest a hardware problem. To avail of the warranty coverage, I advise sending the device to a Nokia Care Center or to the store where you have bought it.

    Is there posible to get an update for this? Since my older Nokia Bluetooth mic works fine since i can set the volume my self. But the max 10/10 doesnt let me hear anything....

    Try to Press and hold the multifunction key for 9 seconds and charge the device for an hour. Otherwise, you might need to send the device to a Nokia Care Point to get it evaluated.

  • Nokia 8600 Luna- No email settings in the US

    I am a Tmobile customer in the US and I just bought the US version of the Nokia Luna. In "Messaging", there is no "email settings". I have contacted Nokia, who said that they would get back to me and I have contacted Tmobile who said that they have nothing to do with this. The phone works fine (except that it can't even connect with the gmail application). I just need any advice. I have tried many things. I don't believe there is a software update that would help me. This is so frustrating. There is also an "internal module error" when I try to use "Nokia Software Updater".

    If that is a GSM phone, but I don't think it is(might be CDMA), there's a Nokia site for downloading setup for that(MMS,WAP, email etc).

    You can use the phone with your australian number provided international roaming is enabled. You will be charged more ( for messaging & talking )than that in Australia since you will be using someone's else's network.

    I have bought an E75-2 (NAM device) 2 months ago.  I have noticed that I cannot upgrade this phone with the latest ver. 200 firmware, compare to the euro devices.  The E75-2 works, but not perfectly (this device should work better than this!!).
    As Nokia is selling this phone in North America, I would think that any software fixes should be applied to the whole product line, rather than regional only.  Especially the software and fixes are common amongst all E75s.
    Nokia, you have very good product here (the E75).  But you must Get Your Act Together, and provide the service that all Nokia's customers deserved.  Please have all upgrades available to all your customers, as all good customers (not just the ones in Europe and Asia) deserve the best service Nokia can provide.
    Ps. When are we going to receive the Free Navigation GPS software for the E75?

    Something weird is happening to E63 firmware.
    I had v200, skipped v300 (don't know why) installed v400. Then I learned v410 was released, I went to website, to check it with my product code but no updates for me. Later I discovered than v500 was released, ran nokia software updater but latest I found is v410. Great! I updated it and waiting for v500 for North American losers, such I am. Yesterday went to the website to check it with my product code and got info that latest fw for my device is v200. Weird, ha? Just now checked it again and first time saw "Sorry! No software update available for this product code via the Nokia Software Update Tool. ".
    Are they fixing it or they just decided to ditch us all?

    My Ovi on phone wont load says something about connection settings?, Neither will Facebook App. using a Nokia 3710 looks like a Yellow Key Symbol over the App in games......... Also i noticed the Nokia Suite PC wont go online either on the computer. * Couldn't connect to Nokia Store very frustrating!!!!

    Is your phone updated with the last software version (04.35)? You can check it entering *#0000# on the keypad.  If not, I would suggest you to update your 3710 with Nokia suite.

    Lol u r being funny nokia obliviously does not care if u have paid $100 or $1800 for a phone the arte is truly amazing phone but IF it works I have so many issues with the sensor and seems nokia wont do anything about it. I was so disappointed with my Nokia luna and I promise myself I will never buy another phone from nokia but yet I got the Arte = BIG mistake ! ! !             I will NEVER EVER buy another nokia phone it just people who pay that much money for a cellophane they really deserve a little more attention. NOT a forum to discuss how unhappy they are to each other.
    P.S. The latest software is 6.40 !  the 9.xx u can find on a third party web pg. And u have to pay for although I will not recommend anyone to install it !

  • Luna BH-220 Flashing red led for hours

    I just received my two Luna head sets. The first one charged up fine and did the NFC pair no problem, but the second unit seems to be having a problem.
    The second one just flashes the red led when it is in the cradle. The Led on the cradle is green. The red led on the ear piece turns off if I remove the charger, but just returns to flashing when I plug it back in. This has gone on for the past 5 hours. How do I get this unit reset? What does the flashing LED mean? Both units had very sparse information in the box and I can not find the user manual anywhere on the Nokia support site. The Luna isn't even listed in the support accesories section. Maybe it's too new??.

    UPDATE: finally managed to get nokia to return my THIRD broken nokia bh-220 bluetooth device, as I purchased it from amazon.
    Filled out the necessary online form and sent it to FONEBIZ for the repair (authorised nokia repairs).
    Two days later, I receive a phone call saying that the device is NOT covered and I am to pay a whopping $170 for them to REPLACE my green device for a BLACK ONE. (See attached photo for proof). Please bare in mind that I only paid $57 for my green nokia luna BRAND NEW. So where FONEBIZ get thier estimate from is simply outrageous.
    When I contacted Nokia, they said their customer service represented was wrong, and she shouldn't have given me the details to return the item. Once again NOKIA, WHERE ARE YOUR BRAINS HERE.?
    NOTE
    DO NOT BUY NOKIA PRODUCTS PERIOD
    DO NOT RETURN ITEMS TO FONEBIZ THEY WILL SIMPLY RIP YOU OFF, AND ARE CLEARLY INCOMPETENT AT REPAIRING BLUETOOTH DEVICES. SO I WOULDN'T EVEN ATTEMPT TO LET THEM REPAIR A PHONE.
    NEVER EVER AGAIN WILL ME OR MY FAMILY PURCHASE A NOKIA PRODUCT. I AM DISGUSTED WITH THEM.
    And I encourage, whoever is reading this, to just acknowledge she sheer hell I've been through just for a simple cheap bluetooth device, and just make sure your aware of the risk when buying a more expensive product. Nokia didn't give a second thought to my bad luck. Why would they treat you any different.

  • Why is Nokia Phone to Ovi suite connection such a ...

    I  have a Nokia E63 and if I had as much trouble with my computer's network connection as I have with a plain and simple old USB connecttion between the E63 and the OviSuite (PCSuite is the same)  and my windows were not double glazed, I would have chucked the lot in to the garden.
    If the phone is attached to the computer when the computer is Cold booted, then no problems, it appears and conversation between Phone and computer is okay.
    If the computer is already running, and I then connect the phone, the Nokia connectionapp   insists there is no phone connected and will not find or make a connection.
    The phone reports it is connected by PCSuite and USB, unfortunately the Nokia software on the PC doesn't think it exists.
    Probably because in Control Panel-System-Hardware tab the Nokia items now have the Yellow exclaimation mark on them.
    Properties on them shows "This Device cannot start".
    Even manually forcing a Start doesn't solve anything.
    If I go to  Control Panel-Add or Remove Programs, find the  Nokia connectivity cable driver and force a repair, then upon connecting the phone I get a note of  a new device and some stuff is reinstalled.
    USB Mass storage is not a problem, regardless of when the phone is connected.
    I've had a look around the net for advice or solutions, but the general concensus seems to be, Nokia connectivity is the Brown waste stuff.
    FWIW. I've uninstalled/reinstalled a number of times, I've changed the USB port used by the cable on the computer, it is connected directly to the computers USB (Rear) port, NOT through a Hub.
    I'm totally lost now, so hoping someone here might have a useful thought or two.
    Have contacted Nokia support but just got the usual crib sheet answers.

    Summary of  where I'm at now.
    I've done the total uninstall... Excise Nokia from the Registry, remove stuff from My profile Application data, and the file from Sys32\Drivers etc, three times.
    Thereafter done the reinstall.
    I'm still in the same boat as I was before, the problem resolutely refuses to be fixed.
    So Phone connected at Boot works, thereafter force a Nokia cable driver repair.
    On XP that's Control Panel- Add or Remove Programs, scroll to Nokia Connectivity cable driver, Hilight it and click 'Change' up will come the Repair or uninstall window.
    (Make sure phone is disconnected for this operation).
    On Win 7  it's Control Panel- Programs and Features.
    Nokia support, via crib sheet readers only seems interested in two things.
    1) Are you using a Nokia brand cable?
    2) We'd like you to go through the total uninstall process...
    No ...king chance, after doing it three times already.
    So I've worked on this with three total uninstalls.
    Three different cables.
    A number of emails and a couple of phone calls from Nokia support, nada.
    This problem is only evident on one machine running XP-SP3.
    On the Win 7 Laptop it works perfectly okay everytime.
    Interestingly, this problem is on  the newest computer I have, only just two years old.
    On another old computer I dug out of a cupboard and set up again, also running XP-SP3 the connectivity works perfectly okay.
    There's just some niggle between the USB on this particular computer and the cable driver.
    I get the impression, not only from this forum, but hints from the support guy that this problem has been around for a while, and my concerns have been escalated to a higher support level.
    Luckily I only really need to Sync my data once a week, so I can manage with the Force cable driver repair measure, but if I needed to sync every day, I would be really p*ss*d off about it.
    It has been suggested... Why don't I just use the Win 7 Laptop to backup and sync the phone... Think about it for one second... As both the phone and the Laptop are out and about in the 'Wild' world together, it not going to be a very secure backup arrangement.

  • Internet Connection thru USB /N95 8GB

    I have just got the N95 8GB and loaded the software etc. It will not connect to the internet, error msg says no modem detected.
    I had a similar problem with the previous N95 in the months leading up to my upgrade. After using it to connect to the net many times it failed to work and said no modem detected.

    When you've connected your usb cable & phone, go to device manager of XP/Vista & check if there is Nokia modem installed or its yellow or red. From there you'll know if the nokia moden driver is properly installed. When you click it will tell working properly. You might have MS OS problem, try it in other PC/Laptop.

  • White 1020 Wireless Charging cover?

    I've reached out to Nokia on Twitter a couple of times with no response. Does anyone know if there will be a white wireless charging cover for the Nokia Lumia 1020? I have lots of wireless chargers from my 920 days, but they're no good until I get a cover for my white 1020. I would prefer not to get a black one, and I'm not a fan of the yellow at all.
    Searches online reveal only Expansis and MobileFun (the same site but in different countries) offering white for pre-order. Nokia only shows black and yellow, and Amazon is only selling the Black at this time.

    At the moment there is none available you will need to keep checking with online retailers or keep checking sites such as you have mentioned.You could also ask nokia in your region on twitter again.They do have a lot to deal with so they might take some time to get back to you.

    Has your existing cable a video line or just audio lines?

    The RCA cable Nokia CA-72U (red+white; two rings on phone site) works here with my Lumia phone.
    However, the Nokia CA-75U (red+white+yellow; three rings) does not work, because Lumia phones do not video-out, neither via component video nor via composite video. Furthermore, some devices are picky if video-in is not connected. Therefore, you have to
    test whether the Nokia CA-72U works with your equipment. Did that help?
