Nokia Messenging and SMTP

Hello,
I can't send emails via Nokia email app
(always get this message :This is an automatically generated Delivery Status Notification 500)
Apparently my provider smtp (smtp.free.fr) needs authentified smtp and another port than 25.
I can't change the defaults parameters in : https://email.nokia.com/
Serveur mess. sortant : smtp.free.fr
Port du serveur sortant : 25
can s.o. tell me how to send e-mail from my Nokia ?
PS : when I use a gmail account it works fine (receiving and sending ok) ...
and of course, telling all my contacts to change my email is not a good solution.

best thing to do is to bypass the nokia messaging setup and just create your email account in the symbian email client.
while it is not push, it will work much better and reliable then the NM. you will need to have your inbound and outbound settings.
to bypass it, when you setup a new account, when it asks you for just your email and password, you need to cancel or select no to the TOS when you see it.
then you will be able to set up your email manually which will use the internal email client.
you can make it auto-sync at timed intervals.
