  • Nokia Music Headset HS-45

I have a Nokia 6110 Navigator, it comes with the headset HS-42 in the package, but that seems to be only a standart headset which only can control the volume, and has the default answer/terminate call button... it also has another, useless button...
Anyway, I was wondering if the HS-45 music headset is sold seperatly too or it can be found only in the package of N95, N81 etc cause it seems to be a nice and usefull headset with all the needed controls to enjoy music while on footMessage Edited by grafias3787 on 30-Oct-200704:28 PM

Well, i have recieved my phone accessory. It is a AD-43 HS-45. Take care, because this one has a 3mm 4pin phone minijack witch is larger than the 6110 navigator phoneplug.
Well, not a big deal for me: soldering iron, plug changed.
I wonder why those phone company spend so much time to make so many stupid different plugs, with not compatible cabling ! (Nokia is not standart).
Thge lenght of the wire is perfect for me and the clip to attach the remote to your clothes ok too.
On the upper side, a hole where you can plug your favorite 3mm hifi headphone plug instead of the little headphones bundled with the remote.
This little accessory has in front a button to take a call.
    Two buttons for next/previous radiostation/Mp3
track aside a central button for pause play.
On one lateral side 3 buttons. The middle one does nothing. Side ones are for +/- volume. They are the same than with the original headpset.
On the other side is a two position switch witch anable/disable the previous commands.
They all works with the nokia visual Radio/Audio player.
With my LCG Jukebox application, same thing. Plus the left side central button do a Play/pause two. That indicate that this button is sending informations and it is a pity Nokia do not use this for some extra command.
But this remote, working all the time with the two Nokia software works only when screen is activated with LCG jukebox, making this unusable.
Sound power is perfect with LCG Jukebox, just enough with Nokia apps, with my portapro Headphone. Sound quality is wonderfull with LCG, acceptable with Nokia.
Like most of the thinks nowadays all that is half perfect, as you can see !!!
Well, it is so sad that customers had to do the Nokia's information job, don't you think ? If some Nokia people comes over here, please Update your site with good informations and user manual for your accessories and their compatibilty.

  • Nokia Music Headset HS-45 - faulty, what to do?

    Hi
My headset remote has stopped working, basically you cannot change or pause tracks or adjust the volume.
It came with my N95 8gb from o2 direct and is still under guarantee, any ideas what to do?
Can I get it exchanged at an o2 store or do I need to contact Nokia?
    Thanks
    Rich

You can try O2 but they will most likely tell you to contact nokia.
Although the phone has a 24 month warranty the headset is only covered by a six month warranty.
Most remote issues are caused by the battery inside them running out. It is possible to change it yourself (if you can work out how to open it) but probably easier to get a care point to do it for you.
Give your nearest care point a call and speak to them about it.
    Find it here:

  • Nokia Music Headset HS-45, AD-54: where's the micr...

I just got an N81, which comes with the HS-45 AD-54 headset combo, but I cannot figure out where the microphone is to answer a phone call. Can anyone help?

How is the audio quality of HS-45, AD-54? I use HS-47 with my 6110 Navigator and the 'bass' produced from it is terrible even with bass-boast in "off" position. I want to buy a new headset.
I also found HS-81 with Sennheiser logo. I'm not sure whether it comes with ff and re buttons. It didn't mentioned in "features" and the picture shown is not distinct.
Please help me comparing sound quality of following headsets:
    1) HS-44 AD-44
    2) HS-45 AD-54
    3) HS-81
    Thanks in advance.

  • NOKIA N81 HEADSET

Nokia Music Headset HS-45, AD-54 why dont any of the buttons work on mine?
when i try and change tracks whilsy using the headset this dosent work? any help.... i can still hear sounds coming out of the earphones but the buttons dont seem to work?

I have this issue too. Not only on calls but also when listening to Radio Podcasts. Impossible to hear anything when in the London Tube for example.
To solve this you have to buy in hear / intra hear buds headset (such as Nokia WH-700 / WH-701 which come with integrated hear buds or the combination of Nokia's wire remote control AD-54 which acts as mic + a standard 3.5 mm pair of hear buds of your choice) .
Beware that on other brands especially iPhone compatible ones, the mic of the wire headsets will not work on our Nokias. You can still listen to music but you'll have to use the phones' mic to talk. It is a pity as there would be much more choice of HI-FI heasets out there if it weren't for this limitation.
Note that I also used / tried in hear Bluetooth headset models Nokia BH-103 and BH-214 but Bluetooth is still too unstable/unreliable on V22.007 of the E72 so I had to go back to wire heaset until a new firmware solves this (if it ever does).
That being said, some people dislike in-hear buds...

been earching the Nokia website and That headset seems to only be compatible with the 3250. There doesn't seem to be any link between your phone and tha AD-41 but it seems the AD-46 is compatible with a 6233 but it doesn't provide the functional;ity that I think you are looking for from the AD-41

Anyway I thank you for the answer
i can understand your concern, there are other cheaper BT headset in the market and if i am not mistaken, siemens also have their own BT headsets, that is if you want to go that way, in which case you get full support from siemens in case it doesn't work... but i agree that generally it should work.

  • Problem with Nokia Music Manager 2.0 converting mp...

    Hi everyone!
I have a problem using the Nokia Music Manager 2.0. I want to convert some mp3-files into "Mobile Optimized Format". If a start conversion it fails and says Track cannot be converted because it is already in the target format or file format is not supported. However, the files worked on my previous computer with WinXP. Now I'm using Vista Business. The conversion will always proceed to 50% and break then. I have the feelng it's a problem with the rights to write the new file. Running it with administrative rights or in compatibility mode did not either.
    Can anyone provide help?
    Thanks!
    Toonfish

i'm having the same problem... ever since nokia upgraded pc suite a few months ago, and i had to get a new version due to a problem with my computer, i can't put music onto my phone using the music manager 2.0. so i've been just copying them in their mp3 formats but of course it's alot more space that could be saved if i could have them in the AAC+ pr M4A formats.
i checked out download.com (they offer alot of free to try and free in general programs) and i searched for mp3 to m4a
i found this program " Abcc Free Music to MP3 AMR AAC OGG Converter 3 "
I downloaded it, which only took maybe 5 minutes, and then installed it (another maybe 2-3 minutes)
I'm trying the program now and.... IT WORKS.
i just converted about 6 pm3's to m4a's and it took about 3-4 minutes. try it !

  • Nokia Stereo Headset WH-205 buttons not working in...

I couldn't get Nokia Stereo Headset WH-205 buttons working in Music player.
Anyone know how to enable the buttons on the headset. I want to use the play/stop/FW/BW buttons on the headset
    Many thanks again

You'll be thoroughly thrilled to know that the N900 does not support complex headsets..
I have a pair of BH905 nokia headphones, frequently shown in official N900 videos being used with a cable..
Unfortunately when plugged into the phone using the cable, the buttons do not work.. in fact I don't believe you can use it has a headset via the cable..
Via bluetooth however, they work marginally better (the headphones crash)
Apparently headset support was removed in favor of TV out.. so head sets with multiple buttons just don't work..
I believe the only headsets that actually work as expected are the ones that ship with the n900..
I must admit, for all its faults, this was the one thing that irritated me most about this incredible media rich by peripheral crippled phone!
    Bad luck, I'm afraid!

  • Unable to sign in to Nokia Music

A few weeks ago I successfully installed Nokia music and registered Comes With Music using a pin provided with my brand new Nokia 5800.
For a while everything was hunkydory........until now
Now whenever I try to sign in to the Comes with Music part of Nokia Music I end up looking at a page which says "Sorry, the page you want has moved or does not exist"
    OK...........
It then suggests to click on a link provided to return to the homepage where I can download to my hearts content.........................for a price tho, of course.
So does anyone know a way out of this apparent dead end?

    Hi All,
I am experiencing the same problem as well. The error messages and problems I encountered are listed below:
    i) When clicked on "STORE" and "Sign In" tabs, the page does not load. Error message: "We are sorry, Nokia Music is currently unavailable, please try again later"
ii) When entering login details on licensing request window while playing newly downloaded songs:
       a) Error message: "Please disconnect your mobile device and try again" while there is NO mobile device being connected to PC!!
       b) Error message: "You need license for music playback, please sign in as a different user" while my account is active and I have not entered the wrong login details
       c) Error message: "License is needed for the media playback" while I have entered the correct login details
iii) Other licensing problem when clicking newly downloaded, never been played songs:
       a) Licensing request window DOES NOT pop up at all
       b) Licensing request window popped up but stall while loading
       c) Licensing request window loads slowly
Nokia Care has offered the following troubleshooting steps, not sure if it works for you but not for me:
"I'd greatly appreciate it if you could try uninstalling the Nokia Music application and then try re-installing it again on your PC. It is best to go through "Start > Control Panel > Add/Remove Programs > Nokia Music" to completely uninstall the application. Thereafter, please restart your PC. Once that is done, you can visit the web link below to re-install the application on your PC:
    http://www.nokia.com.sg/get-support-and-software/download-software/nokia-music-support/compatibility...
Prior to downloading the Nokia Music application, please temporarily disable any firewall or anti-virus programs that you have on your PC. Once all is successfully done, please try using the Nokia Music application and monitor the issue.
You could also try the following steps:
    1) Clear the cache and temporary Internet files in Internet Explorer:
Internet Explorer > Tools > Internet Options > Delete cookies and delete files
    2) Change the security settings in your browser is set to Medium (assuming that you are using Internet Explorer, you can follow the steps below
Internet Explorer > Tools > Internet Options > Security tab > Default Level > Medium
During all the above steps, please ensure that you are still connected to the Internet. "
Nokia Care has also attributed the login failures to network congestion. As he did not elaborate more, I hope he is not referring to server not able to handle overwhelming request during peak hours as it shouldn't have heppend and they should upgrade the server for better stability and accessibility. They have even suggested to log into Nokia Music during non-peak or odd hours which is not a very good idea as it does not solve the root cause. I have tried to log in early in the morning but the result is intermittent.

  • Where's the Nokia Music update for FP2???

    Hello,
Was this update pulled lately from pipeline? Because it's been a week since when I performed a clean update to FP2 on my 808 PV and the only over-the-air updates back then were Microsoft Apps and New Social; also only these two updates were offered via Nokia Suite.
No sign of Nokia Music and / or other minor updates at the time being.
What's wrong with the rest of the updates? My Nokia Music is useless right now (it won't open).

  • Nokia music or mix music on asha phones

I really want to download nokia music or mix radio on my asha 311... Is there anyway i can download it on my asha phone?

I am having exactly the same issue with a TDK Bluetooth speaker.
The offline mixes play fine to my Bluetooth headset, and my android tablet plays fine to the Bluetooth speaker, but using Nokia music on a Lumia 920 to the Bluetooth speaker stops after every song and turns off Bluetooth. Happens on both offline mixed, and often on downloaded albums. Sometimes if l come in fresh and start a new mix it works, but not very often
