Just had a query on the Nokia Music on my Lumia 720, is the music subscription free lifetime? And if its limited how can I get free subscription ?

Hello everyone!
I got the Lumia 920 (AT&T) and a Lumia 820. For some reason when I first opened Nokia Music it worked fine. But a short time later, it no longer shows the mixed radio.
Why is that?
As far as I know it is available in the US.

im having the same problem im signed into my nokia as well as microsoft acount n i did played the mixes once but now after some time i dnt have that option only 2 option my music n settings
i uninstalled n reintalled a couple of times including restarting the phone n still cant get it to work it is working on Lumia 521 but im having serious problem with nokia music on my lumia 920 at&t

[Nokia Music, Lumia 920] - Can't seem to buy songs...

This is the problem:
When trying to buy a track in Nokia Music it says (translated): "Sorry, only cards with billing address in the United States that can be used in this shop."
The facts:
All regional settings on the phone are set to my country (Norway) and my language (Norwegian).
In my Nokia-account (account.nokia.com) it says country Norway and language Norwegian.
My phone has the latest official update.
I have tried reinstalling the Nokia Music app to no avail.
What could be the cause? What is the solution? Is buying music not yet available for Norwegian customers?

Nokia employee elinahlberg PM'd me about this case, but I haven't heard anything in a while.
Maybe another Nokia employee can continue where she left off?

I have a Lumia 720 which lost its Nokia Music free subscription of 1 year in 6 months.

I would like to know the reason behind revising and free music download subscription to 6 months without any notice. When the phone was bought, free subscription was given for an year.

Now I am getting pop up "Activation Problem : .....see attachemnt" Its very disappointing and shocking that one of the encouraging features in Lumia720 (Nokia Mix Radio) suddenly stops working instead of providing service for 1 Year. Initially this sudden seizure spoiled our mental peace, forcing us to try re-installation and discussions until I read some comment in Support page. i bought my new lumia 720 on 5/7/13 ....i created nokia accounts ... where i could download musics from nokia music ... due to some problem i reset my phone and created new nokia account... i wasnt able to download musics... by mistake i had terminated the first nokia account .... how can i regain the first nokia account and how can i regain my nokia unlimited downloads .... please help me out!!!! its only been a month for today i bought my lumia 720!! :/:/

If you actually cancelled the original Nokia Account you lost everything associated with it. This is very clearly stated when you perform this action. The only place where you maybe will be able to find any help is with Nokia Care but to my knowledge once the account is discontinued all data that was linked to it is removed as well.

Nokia mix radio /store not visible Lumia 720 India

I have recently bought Lumia 720 and when I am trying to find mix radio or nokia music store under nokia music; it's just not showing up. Is the service not available in India and if so; when will it be available or there is some problem with my device? Thanks in advance for your response.

Mix radio is available in India. May we know if you are using a local SIM card? If yes, you may try to re-insert the SIM card and then check it again. Does your Nokia account's country/region set in India? To verify this, log in to your account through this link:
https://account.nokia.com/
Please make sure that the phone's country/region is set in India as well. If it's different, try to change it and then reboot your phone.

Big issue with Nokia Lumia 720, people calling can't hear a thing.
It has been 9 days since I raised this request and a month since I first turned my phone in for service. Completely frustrated with your service. I demand that you take back the phone and refund and compensate me for the inconvenience you have caused me.

I purchased a new Nokia Lumia 720(Serial No: 357297054233805) from Croma in Bengaluru a couple of months back. Within two months of purchasing the phone, there was an issue with the ringer. When someone called, I would hear no ringing at all. When I played music on the speakers, there was no sound. I didn't expect this in the least from such an expensive Nokia phone.
When I gave the phone to Nokia Care centre in Bengaluru (Ms Silk Technologies Marathalli), they fixed the ringer the next day, but managed to get scratches on the back panel and introduced an issue with the volume controls. Now even when I reduced volume to 0 sometimes I could still hear the music play on the speakers or headphone. After having waited an hour and a half, they asked me to leave the phone with them saying they will replace the back panel and fix the volume issues.
I had to go back multiple times to Nokia care, leaving my phone and being without a replacement handset for days.
I had called the Nokia contact centre number and raised an issue and requested that you replace the handset. However after days of patient waiting, the response from you was dismal.
Ms Silk Technologies (Nokia care) called me the other day to inform that the phone was fixed again. They couldn't tell me what had gone wrong or how the issues were fixed. They simply said the volume issue is fixed and the back panel is replaced.
When I reached the centre, I had to wait for an hour again before they handed me the phone.
They had replaced the volume panel to fix the volume issue.
However, instead of replacing the back panel, they had replaced the touch screen instead!!!
Why replace a good, original working touch screen???????
They then asked me to wait and proceeded to replace the back panel.
When I tested the phone again, I found that there was a defect in the touch screen they had replaced.
They made me wait some more time before replacing the touch screen again. I don't understand why they replaced a good touch screen in the first place.
Again I could detect faint marks on the back panel where they had tried to remove the touch screen. They told me they have to manually lift the touch screen from the back panel and that only your factory had equipment which could neatly detach the touch screen from the back panel. What nonsense is this!!
While waiting at the service centre, I managed to speak to quite a few people around there who had issues with Lumia 720 phones. Clearly, you have some major issues with this handset.
It was quite late in the evening before I was finally handed the phone.
Please note, I now have a phone which is not even a couple of months old but which has the the following parts replaced
-. ringer
-. touch screen
-. back panel
-. volume controls
Clearly this was a faulty piece that was sold to me requiring replacement of so many parts. Instead of replacing all these parts Nokia should simply have replaced the faulty handset.
However I still decided to take the phone.
Next day when I started receiving calls, people calling me complained they could hardly hear me and I could hear a good amount of static noise. I had to speak up real loud or even call them back. Further after some time, I was not able to hear anything when someone called. Can you imagine my horror.
Somehow after restarting the phone, I was able to hear when someone called. However people are still complaining sometimes they can hardly hear me and I continue to hear the static sound.
I'm completely frustrated at this point. I complained to Ms Silk Technologies and their response was that I leave the phone with them again.
Thanks but no thanks, I have been running behind them and you since 3rd Dec. I can't afford to waste more time running between work and nokia care.
The decent thing for Nokia to do at this point is to refund my money and take back the phone.
I'm completely frustrated with this experience. I had expected a much more robust phone from Nokia, alas that has not been the case.

Unfortunately it is not possible to handle refunds or complaints via this forum. You need to contact Nokia directly in your country and submit a complaint about the service you received from the care centre.

hi mate, you tried ensureing that you are up to date with the latest firmware and also the Nokia system app updates from the Store? also try performing a soft reset, and checking that your microSIM is cut correctly and that there is no damage to the microSIM tray holder or the microSD card holder.

Lumia 720 vibrations and music player problem

The disturbing vibrations occur while operating the phone..absolutely disgusting this problem is..your phone simply vibrates and you can do nothing but wait till the vibrations stop and the screen goes back ,changes and what not during this..the only thing you could probably do is lock your phone..but that is not a solution..very poor and totally unexpected in a phone you buy after paying so much..moreover the newest discovery in the list of problems is freezing of the music player..not responding to volume adjustments..please look into all this..making me wonder if i did the right thing by buying nokia !

I purchased Nokia Lumia 720 for my daughter SHREYANKANA DEEPT on 24 may 2013 bearing IMEI no. *************** from Ranchi Jharkhand. SHREYANKANA is continuously complaining following: 1) in low battery condition phone gets hanged and doesn't on even after long charging. 2) phone has been repaired two times at Nokia center one at Surat next at dharamshala but the problem still persist.3) phone gets hanged up frequently. My daughter is fade up of this set and suffering a lot on issues of her study. The phone has been again given to Nokia care, one touch communications, west Patel Nagar, Delhi 8 with job sheet no. 112433527/131012/11. A telephonic complaint has also been made on 30303838 on 12.10.13 with complaint no. 1-14752735177. we request to replace the handset by another model of Nokia. I am ready to pay the difference money. Mk Verma

My NOKIA LUMIA 720 -Screen freeze..Automatic fast screen touch working without my input
Since yesterday, i am facing this issue. Its 1 month old mobile.
Today i scared alot with my phone working, because my lumia 720 home screen is automatically working with out any of my input. i had seen 3 to 4 times, it struck off all once and it stands on Calculator screen or messge inbox scrren.
Some times, it automatically asking for deletion of contacts & it is asking for link of contacts to one another & it is automatically going for a new message and asking for some file attachment addition.then i feared alot and i switch off the phone immidiately.
What if, any of my images or personnel files went to a wrong person.
Please suggest any of you, what to do now.

M too having this problem.. tried soft/hard reset but no use.. updated every system and app still no use.. I dont even droped my phone that could be the cause of this f*****g problem. Now the down touch not working. but after 5 to 6 hrs of rest it started to work insanely like you said. I cant even use my phone and sometimes the call been ended coz of this stupid problem -_-"

Nokia Lumia 720 down volume button not working aft...

Hi just got my Lumia 720 25 days back and now i'm having this issue going on started from today after I wake up my phone the down volume button does not work for a while. What i noticed is until i press the Up volume button the down volume button does not respond anuthing. Is that a software problem ? Because i feel like if i press it little harder than usual it start working fine.
Not sure what to do ? Like it will get resolved with an upcoming update or an hardware issue ? Should I need to check with the Nokia Care.
I already tried to do a soft reset thrice but it still the same. Someone please help !

Even I have the same issue with my Newly purchased nokia lumia 720... Sometime the volume down buttons works perfectly and with time is doesn't work at all is this a software issue... i am facing this since i have downloaded an audio update.... i m tired of resetting the settings i am tired visiting service centers, as they are asking me to leave my phone for 15-20 days as the part is not available with them and my question is. if there is a hardware issue then is should stop working but in my case sometimes it works as perfect as the day i bought the device and sometimes it doesn't work at all. Will this issue be fixed with Amber update... What is the appropriate solutions for this matter please reply......

Bug in Nokia Lumia 720" which i was using,After completion of my downloaded app"Java Tutorial" & i started to open this suddenly, my Wi-Fi connection got problem & i have been found a bug on it.

Does it get sorted if you uninstall the subject application ? If so..the problem lies with the application and not the phone ...
..but before that confirm that you are connected to the Internet .. You may try after rebooting the phone. Also un-install and re-install the application and try again ..
