Nokia Music - Lumia 920 problems

Hello everyone!
I got the Lumia 920 (AT&T) and a Lumia 820. For some reason when I first opened Nokia Music it worked fine. But a short time later, it no longer shows the mixed radio.
Why is that?
As far as I know it is available in the US.

im having the same problem im signed into my nokia as well as microsoft acount n i did played the mixes once but now after some time i dnt have that option only 2 option my music n settings
i uninstalled n reintalled a couple of times including restarting the phone n still cant get it to work it is working on Lumia 521 but im having serious problem with nokia music on my lumia 920 at&t
PLZ Help I Want This So Bad

[Nokia Music, Lumia 920] - Can't seem to buy songs...

This is the problem:
When trying to buy a track in Nokia Music it says (translated): "Sorry, only cards with billing address in the United States that can be used in this shop."
The facts:
All regional settings on the phone are set to my country (Norway) and my language (Norwegian).
In my Nokia-account (account.nokia.com) it says country Norway and language Norwegian.
My phone has the latest official update.
I have tried reinstalling the Nokia Music app to no avail.
What could be the cause? What is the solution? Is buying music not yet available for Norwegian customers?

Nokia employee elinahlberg PM'd me about this case, but I haven't heard anything in a while.
Maybe another Nokia employee can continue where she left off?

Nokia Lumia 920: problems when playing videos on p...

Dear All,
thanks to this great support community website, I will b hopefully able to solve my prob.
Description:
my nokia lumia 920 has got the latest Win8 firmware and Lumia Amber update ( with 3 UK) but when trying to play videos on my win 7 pc's,
the actual video is corrupt or does not work properly,ie sound and slow immage processing.
I have the latest win 7 codec pack on pc and tried apps like VLC,ITunes,Windows Media Player,Nokia Media Player,Nokia Video Converter and others without success......not sure what's wrong but video were ok with my old Nokia N8......perhaps the format is not recognised??????
The fact that the pc plays the video means that format is not an issue but the quality is just terrible,video and sound.
I used both the WP desktop app to sync and dragging and/or dropping file with no difference at all.
DESPERATE,PLS HELP!!!!!!!!

Camera resolution is low and can’t change resolution (Nokia N8 has better)
Lumia 920 is 8Mpix, N8 is 12 Mpx, that said please elaborate. I am pretty sure that you will not be able to tell which phone took a shot if I show you one and don't tell you which I used.
Navigation (Here drive + beta) not comes with traffic updates and not giving alternate routes. Yeah traffic update is in the maps but there’s no point in there (Nokia N8 has better).
HERE suite of apps is relatively new and constantly being updated. I'll come
NBA live streaming No App. And flash player not support. (IOS and Android has it) not on N8 also.
Flash is dead, not available anymore for any up to date OS. Talk to the developer of an app on bringing it to WP8
Alarm won’t work when the phone off (N8 will turn on and works)
Your N8 is never really off
Keyboard not comes with arrow (<>) keys. Can’t type a missing letter between a word, have to delete the word and type the whole thing again.
tap and hold in textbox, cursor appears, move finger (while holding) to where it needs to go
Music player app can’t close. Just pause the song.
There's an app if you feel you must remove the player. Last I checked when paused playback is stopped.

Nokia lumia 920 problems

Hi,
I bought my brand new Lumia 920 just 3 days back and following are the problems.
1. Music is not stoping if you get call when phone is in silent mode.
2. If you hold back button you can see back ground tasks, but you cant kill tem.
3. For saving a contact you need to go through difficult steps. I don't know why it is asking name in different section rather than in same section where it is showing the name.
4. Screen. Rotation. Is very poor for many applications like youtube etc.

If you do not want to sync contact with Google just remove the option in Settings >email+accounts>Google
The idea of the phone being in silent mode is that it does not interrupt anything on the phone. IMO it would be weird if it did. You put incoming calls on silent for a reason.

Nokia Music purchase/download problem

Guys
Need some help as scratching my head over this
Just purchased a track via music.nokia.com via my mobile as had password problems via my desktop
I've tried to purchase a track via my mobile but it said payment failed so re-added my c/card details to payment options again in case first one I typed in was wrong and attempted payment again - payment failed a second time
Just checked by c/card statement and the 2 purchases have gone through
Ok, so I log back into my music.nokia.com account via desktop to check my purchase history and its says there is none!!!
So basically I need to problems addressing - double payment and the fact that I am unable to download the 1 track I've paid twice for.
Anyone any ideas or can point me in the right direction to get this sorted out?
I've got the Lumia 820 with amber o/s btw

Nokia Music Unlimited licenses are activated by signing in with a Nokia Account, and once activated personal to the Nokia Account holder. If the same Nokia Account is used to activate a second or third device, the Nokia Music Unlimited licenses are accumulated on that account and only the most recently activated device can be used to access Nokia Music and download music for free. You will be able to play already downloaded music on previously registered devices.
Therefore, if the device is bought second hand, and the license is still in use by the first owner the second owner is not entitled to the Nokia Music license.

Lumia 920 - Problems that should not be

I am an old Samsung customer, my last phone was a Samsung Note that I switched for a Lumia 920. Before the change I tried to read all I could get about WP8 and loved it specialy in relation with the Lumias. I find the functionality described on the websites so good that I bought a second for my wife and made my brother in law change to a 820. Now the downside that made me write this post. I want to refer that I do not feel the lack of apps a problem if I want apps I keep Android or even IOS. What Nokia and Microsoft put on their site is that WP8 with features of Nokia already is what I need. Thing is that the following functions do not work on both Lumia 920 and on the 820.
Skype contacts do not appear in the people hub
You cannot make skype calls from the peoples hub
Cannot make conversations in rooms
The message app is a mess, anybody is online, messages do not appear not only the Facebook chat is not working but also the windows own messenger.
Podcast do not work as described because the store do not have Podcasts available and a simple add by url is not possible.
I do not need much and I do not want apps I just want Hardware and Software that works as described on windowsphone.com and nokia.com.
Please guys at Nokia make the phones work like they should and presure Microsoft to keep their part, because these simple problems make the phones frustrating and I am starting to regret my decision to leave Samsung-Android.

I find a solution for the not working Messaging hub. A ugly 3rd party app called ICQ has a live working facebook chat. So Microsoft/Nokia please buy these app developers because day could do what for you is taking months now. Worst you a still making false advertising with you not working Messenger Hub.
So please make it work. I dont bought a Nokia with WP8 to install 3rd party apps to get the smartphone work as advertised with the functions I need, for 3rd party apps I have IOS or Android.

Lumia 920 / Problem with Store App

Right after I bought my Lumia 920, a added few applications (viber, instagram, etc.) using store app.
After few days, everytime I tried to open Store App, or even visit the market page using browser on my device, I got the same message:
''Service unavailable at the moment. Check again in a little while.''
My phone is totally blocked for downloading new Apps. I'm not able to, for example update ''What's Up'' App beacuse it's redirecting me automatically to Store. This haven't been changed for a while, about month or two. I even updated phone regulary once update was available, nothing changed after that. All other stuff is working perfectlly, so I'm not sure what could be the problem.

Is everything ok with your Microsoft account? You didn't change your password recently or anything like that? Try logging into your microsoft account just to make sure everything is ok.

Video not working in Nokia Camera (Lumia 920, Lumi...

Hi,
I've just noticed that the video function of Nokia Camera is not working.
The camera function *is* working.
Video *does* work using the standard Camera app. (so the camera _can_ take video!)
I've reset the camera, restarted a few times, still no joy.
this is for v4.5.1.7 on a Lumia 920 running Lumia Black software.

today i got a email from nokia that,,they have released software update for lumia 920 ...
but when i go to settings / phne updates, i see no updates available. also i don't see the new options like marking multiple options in people ....
please help me .. i am from india

No, you have misunderstood the email. It says you will be able to select and send messages to multiple people, not select multiple people in contacts.

You should be able to log in using your own Nokia account (the same one you used when you logged in to post this message). If you have problems with the application, make sure that you are using your local version of the software. Check that your country settings are set correctly at settings > region + language and that the Microsoft account you used to download Nokia Music is set to the correct region as well.

Why doesn't Nokia mention Lumia 920s SAR values ?

I bought the new shiny Lumia 920 windows phone. After using it for over a day I noticed that the battery gets drained out too quickly. Also, I noticed that amount of static charge my body gets since I started working with Lumia 920 is quite more than before.
I am concerned about the SAR rating Lumia 920 has in India. What concerned me more was the fact that when I looked into Nokia's website, they didn't publish the SAR rating. I should have checked this before, but why is the SAR rating of Lumia phones not mentioned in Nokia's website ?

No offense but this just seems ridiculous... Why would you get more static in your body beacuse of a phones SAR value? It just seems very far fetched.

Nokia music showing country problem

I bought Nokia lumia 800 from India. My Nokia subscription got expried and I renewed with one month subscription bought through oxicash. I try the redeem voucher but its showing error like country problem. Please give me a solution.

Nokia Music Xpress 5800 Problems!

I have had the Nokia XpressMusic for almost a year now. I have been experiencing several problemswith it recently; the first problem shown was that it would call my contactswithout my intention to do so and also without me touching the phone.
Often it will send a text half way through me typing it and recentlyit has been switching off by itself.
I have also been experiencing the fuzzy screen due to the coldand this morning the phone’s touch screen buttons would not respond however thetoolbar with the music, gallery, connectivity etc… on the right hand side of thescreen would pull down instead.
Is there any way I can fix these problems?
The phone has been dropped a few times, however I do not thinkthis contributes to the faults. Could the phone be repaired as it is still underwarranty or will they not accept it?

dropping the phone would result in hardware damage and hardware damage would be obvious. cracked screen, phone constantly rebooting, etc etc.
What i have problem with is this, let's suppose dropping the phone NEVER caused the underlying issue, nokia care can turn around and say, you dropped it, it's your fault, but what if it was not? how exactly does nokia prove otherwise, part of the testing of the phones is to test stuff like being dropped, why else do they have machines which simulate this? the fact is phones are supposed to take a little punishemnet, just because the phone shows signs of it being dropped should not auto matically qualifiy it to being void, plenty of other eletronics out there, torches, mp3, phones can take a beating much more than she did and anyone else and warrenty not be void, this is just a cheap excuse to make more money and not repair the phone.
