EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED with NOKIA INDIA support..
I purchased Lumia 520 on 19-Aug-13. From the starting my Nokia Music was not working. Registered complaint regarding this in Nokia support on next day itself and later contacted them 4-5 times for the same issue. Every time what they are saying is you will get a call within one day itself. But till now i didnt get any call from anyone.
Guess this is the decline of brand which had a special place in our hearts !!!

I'd suggest you check THIS thread.
It is likely that if te 520 was imported from outside India it may not support Nokia Music in India as this requires the local firmware.

Nokia Music not working anymore - crashes immediat...

Hi guys. I have been using Nokia Music standard version without any problems for several months in Lumia 820, but now the application is not working anymore. When I click the "Nokia Music" from the list of applications, the app opens ok, but after 2 seconds it closes automatically. I cannot select any of the functionalities (mix radio, create a mix etc...). There is no error message displayed, it just goes back to the application list menu. I have not installed any new apps to my phone recently. Phone restart is not helping. Problem occurs both when using WiFi and also with mobile data. As per Settings/PhoneUpdate my Lumia 820 is up-to-date. I'm located in Finland. Thanks

Nokia Music v2.0 not working on Lumia 710

Hi, i just downloaded the Nokia Music for my Lumia 710, but everytime when it launches, it shows "Can't Launch Nokia Music" because my phone software is too old. However, the zune said i have the latest update as per today. How to fix it? Thanks, and sorry if this have been discussed before.

Main problem is, few people know, at least claims to know more than others, I am using Nokia Music on my Unlocked Lumia 800 for almost 2 months, So, It's already available in India.
A temporary solution provided on following post.

Anyone got Nokia Music to work with (recognise) N9...

Several times over the last months I have tried to get Nokia Music to work with my N95 8GB.
Every time I have spent hours and hours installing, upgrading, uninstalling etc etc but never success.
The Nokia Music PC software will not recognize my phone.
No matter what kind of connection i choose when i connect the phone - PCSuite, Mediaplayer etc, none of them makes the Nokia Music recognise the phone.
I am currently running Windows XP SP3, PC-suite 7.1.30.9, Nokia Music 1.3.20716.09, phone firmware is 31.0.015, phone code is 0550372
I am (_again_) dead tired of this, and for the moment (again) I truely hate Nokia PC software.
Has anyone got Nokia Music to work with N95 8GB?

Yes - it is working fine for me on a n95-
You need to connect your n95 in Media player mode.
You have 1.3.20716.09 but the latest version is - 1.3.2072
1) You can get the latest version from here - http://musicstore.nokia.com/download.aspx
2) If you are having licencing issue it could be because of the drm folder . If step one does not work try to delete the drm folder - C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\DRM . You need to make sure that hidden files and folders are not hidden and also that protected operating system files are not hidden.
To see hidden files:
1.
On the Tools menu in Windows Explorer, click Folder Options.
2.
Click the View tab.
3.
Under Hidden files and folders, click Show hidden files and folders.
Oh and just to be sure you are using nokia music

You can see in that picture on the left hand side is the phone you drag and drop your music into that phone picture to transfer your music.
Nokia pc suite below does not transfer nokia music

This is because the software in the first link (nokia music) is designed to recognise "DRM" software. But nokia PC suite in the second link does not currently do that.

Social Client & Nokia blogs not working

from last week social client & nokia blogs not working. Facebook / Twitter / Conversations / Blog etc... are not opening. Get a blank white screen with only option to exit. Surprisingly the social widget is getting updated with posts from both Facebook & Twitter! But if i click to open then its the same issue...

First thing i checked is for updates on suite but no luck with that... Not sure if there are updates released which are not made available for users here.
Any idea on where to check if updates are available here? Or when it would be made available here?

-choose provider (hotmail/gmail/yahoo...etc)
-enter username & password
-click OK to T&C
-get error message: "cannot enable this service on the device"
any ideas?

I'm having a similar issue. It appears to only impact Hotmail accounts. For me though, this happened without updating the OS. The email client is simply failing to connect to the Hotmail interface. Only two possibilities, either Microsoft changed something on the email gateway or Nokia changed something on their end. Either way, it's not working and has been out of commission for the past week. If this is how corporate friends get along, I'd hate to see what happens in a adversarial relationship.

Camera is not working after Lumia Cyan update WP8....

when I got this its front camera was not working But rear(back) works fine with flash, But after some days I Updated it to win8.1 with Preview of Devloper, and after updating my Camera has Stoped working when I click the Camera Button, within a second it comes to Home Screen..... So I Downgrade to Win8.0 OS via Nokia Software Updater and My Camera Start Working again....
Someone Suggest me to wait for official realese of Lumia Cyan with W8.1 OS and I waited for it and In August last My phone shows that a Update is Available and Now Update it again Officialy to Win8.1 with Cyan Update via Wifi, and the Same problem Again Happening My Camera Stopped working again after click the Camera Button, within a second it comes to Home Screen, I tried everything, Soft reset, Hard Reset, Uninstalling Nokia Camera App & Installing Again, Reset Camera Button.... try hard reset and see if it works and let me know if it does. take phone off. press (green call) key, (*) key, (3) key and power button then wait for phone to come on then let go of keys.

Lumia 1020 reframe image not working with Lumia Bl...

The reframe function in the Nokia Camera app on my Lumia 1020 overwrites the original full-res image when saving after a reframe.
I have Lumia Black and Nokia Camera app v4.5.1.5
There was an earlier post that Dec versions of the Nokia Camera app would solve the problem or that turning off Skydrive auto-upload would solve the problem but those didn't work on my 1020.
Nokia Support always tell you to reset the phone but since that is not guaranteed to solve the problem, what are options can Nokia Support offer?

Just checked this and it works fine for me. I can reframe and save, close the app then browse the gallery, open the image from there and zoom out again to the full image and save.

Docomo sim not working in lumia 710

Im using using nokia lumia 710 since 6 months with idea network . But , recently when i changed my sim from idea to docomo its not working properly why? incoming calls,message sending and receiving are fine but outgoing calls are going and even internet is also not working. Does it requires any change in settings. I even can't call the customer care call . Could anyone help me....

Whatsapp not working in Lumia 720

I am trying to install Whatsapp on Lumia 720. Its getting stuck in "creating favourites", I tried re-installing after performing a soft reset, however no luck.

i also bought a lumia 720. And, iam also facing the same problem of message apps not working. in fact i tried watsapp, nimbuzz and g-chat. All these are getting installed sucessfully.. but not working.
in watsapp.. -connection state= ''NOT CONNECTED''
in nimbuzz - ''couldn't connected to nimbuzz''
in gchat - ''loading contacts..''
but iam able to browse, use facebook, gmail, etc,... just the chat apps are not working.

Wifi and Marketplace not working on Lumia 610

Hi,
So as the title suggests, my wifi and marketplace aren't working on my Lumia 610.
I have it maybe two months, and just today the Wifi stopped working. Laptops, other smartphones and an iPod are all connecting to the modem just fine. Just my phone. It also keeps telling me my internet password is wrong, when it's not.
Googled for hours to find a solution, tried everything, nothing worked.
Finally, on Nokia's website, I believe, it told me to try resetting my phone. Did it.
Still not working. Now I'm getting the error code: 805a0193 in the marketplace, so now I can't download any apps.
I had literally done NOTHING to the phone, this just started out of nowhere.
Any help is appreciated.

EDIT: Now it won't even sync with Zune

Actually, you can reset your phone on your own so there is no need to go to your Nokia Care only to reset your phone. Resetting won't void warranty too.
You can reset your phone by going to Settings - About - Reset Your Phone and resetting may solve your issue.
At the same time, you can ask for help in this website to chat with the Windows Phone team so they can (hopefully) help you on this issue.

Nokia Music npt working properly

Dear Sir,
From few days I am encountering some problems with Nokia Music on my Nokia 603 (FP2).The downloading bar does not work at all while downloading any song.The song gets downloaded but downloading bar does not work.
Similarly, i am unable to listen preview songs from category like "Pop,Rock,Dance".I think I will have to re-install the app Nokia Music.But don't know how to do it.

i am living in India and i am a huge fan of nokia lumia series..
i bought my lumia 720 a week ago from online store flipkart.. In it camee pre installed nokia music..
wen i opened it to my surprise there were only two options.. First my music second settings.
i made an account and signed in but didn't work...
reinstalling didn't help and i complained to nokia representative also still no avail...
so kindly help...

1. Where are you located?
2. What's the phone's region settings? Is it set to the same country where you are currently located?
3. Previously, were you able to see the other options like Mix Radio?
4. When you created a Nokia account, which country did you set it to? Have you tried to use another Nokia account?

Music not working on iPhone after iOS 5 upgrade

Hi all,
Apparently I spoke too soon- To review, ever since I upgraded to iOS 5, the iPod functionality of my iPhone (ie all of my music) doesn't function. It worked for the first day or so, then when I tried to start the app, it would present with a blank white screen for about 10 seconds, then just quit. I've restarted, reset, and restored, and the only thing that helped was restoring (I've restored about 4 times now). It would then work for about a day, then not work again. I eventually got tired of restoring, and just 'unsynced' my music, then resynced again. That would again work for about a day, then I'd have to repeat that process. Now, not even resyncing my music works.
Otherwise the phone seems to be working well- no other app issues or usage issues. I'd occasionally get an error (-34) or (-50) while syncing, but I'd just 'eject' the phone, and reattach and it would sync.
I'm using iCloud for backup, and I'm syncing wirelessly, unless I restore or unsync my music, at which time I'll hook it directly to the computer.
Any suggestions?

Sorry, but no suggestions....I have the same problem I think... my music app just goes to a white screen then back to the home page. if i search for a song it will find it, but when i try to play it, i get a black scrren, then just back to home page. the app has worked a lot, but this has happened a few times prior and has resolved itself (not sure how), but now i can't get my music to work at all. video, everything else works...this is on iphone4s with ios 5.0.1. there's a definite bug here and hopefully enough people will complain about it to get apple to fix it! I get the feeling it has something to do with a large music library (I have 46GB) and large/complex playlists. I also seem to have a syncing problem in that music rating changes made on iphone don't get syncd back to by windows pc library. I noticed this just before the music app stopped working completely. Apple.. please help!
