Nokia music tab missing

I have downloaded 6 to 7 songs successfully, using music tab. As I have unlimited membership upto Sept, 2014 of Nokia music download. Till then the tab of Music is missing and can't download music in my Nokia Lumia phone which I just purchased.

Music Tabs Missing in Apple TV

I have an apple tv first generation. Yesterday the tabs under the music heading disappeared except for "my music". I have unplugged and restarted the apple tv and it did not correct the problem. Apparently this has happened all around the world. I have called and reported it to apple. They seem unaware of the problem.
I had the privilege of having to pay apple 45.00 dollars to report the problem to them. This really upsets me.
Anyone else having this issue too? If so, call them and let them know.

exactly the same problem here. First gen AppleTV which runs fine apart from the fact that the tabs under music have dissapeared (except my music).
Does anyone have any suggestions?

Missing the music tab on purchased beta

i am using the mac i use to update the ipad periodically....it has the new iTunes version 10.3...
the purchased beta feature on the store page has no tab for music...it does have the tabs for apps and books purchased...i have purchased music in the past, obviously...
looking under Itunes preferences then the store tab, the automatic downloads section has no music box...the other 2 are there although not ticked...
i havent done the same process yet with my ipad as just updating the iOS to 4.3.3, will check soon...
but puzzled why the music tab is missing on the mac in this way?
any ideas very much appreciated...

Hi, onthetiles. I agree completely. I watched the keynote with the Lion and iOS 5 announcements and have to say that Apple's / Steve Jobs' wording of these announcements is infuriating as a UK user. He repeatedly said in the keynote "......available to all our subscribers" never once clarifying that outside the US isn't included. I've posted in a separate thread about how stupid I think it is that the record companies outside the US seem to be holding out on this, so here I'll limit it to wondering why one agreement can't cover worldwide downloads since they're mostly the same companies. I can almost see an argument for iTunes Match not being available without further discussion, but for songs I've already bought through iTunes? Good grief.
This redownloading of previously purchased music is one of the features I like most about the new integration of Lion and iOS and it seems I can't use it yet. Or, if imtight's post above is to be taken literally, never maybe. It's really not worth getting excited about being able to sync/redownload apps and books cos it's not as likely I'll be away from home and think "****, I wish I'd resynced that app before I left" and I don't use iBooks anyway. So that's the entire feature useless to me for now.
Hopefully we'll get a nice surprise by the time iOS 5 is released but I'm not holding my breath.

Music tab underneath iphone device in itunes for mac is missing

i recently synced my iphone 4 from my pc to my new macbook pro. when i went to plug it in again, it shows up in itunes, but the music tab and everything else that is usually underneath it in the left-hand sidebar is missing. i cannot delete music, or change anything. i cant even see the music that i have on it. does anyone know how this can be fixed?

I am having the same problem. Only difference is that my iTunes library is stored on an external USB drive. I think the problem must be related to the library not located on the local itunes drive. I noticed that everytime I select a check-box, the external drive 'activity light' starts blinking like mad. And only when it stops does iTunes start responding again.
Did you get an answer or anything on this? It's driving me mad!

Airtunes missing; no Music tab in Airport Admin Utility - Help!

Hi. Trried to play music via airtunes to AX connected to stereo, but no speaker selections in iTunes! Been working for the past year. Went to airport admin utility (4.2) for the AEBS and when configuring it showed the Music tab for about a second then it went away. I can't select Music re-setup airtunes! Where's the tab? Does the utility have a bug? What to do?
All latest s/w, etc. for AEBS, AX, Pmac, and PB. Tried the utility from both Macs, but same situation. Internet, AEBS, and AX all work fine, but no Music tab in the utility and no airtunes speaker selections in iTunes (6.0.5).

Missing music tab in airport admin utility...

Does anyone know how I can fix this? Can't enable airtunes but can still use my printer attached to my Airport express. I just use my airport for printing and airtunes so this is very anoying.

Nokia Music Lyrics Tab

I have an idea for nokia music on wp8. How about if on a song you swipe left or right (on xbox music and video this changes the song) it comes up with a lyrics page. It could have an edit button, that opens a message box so you can input lyrics found elsewhere it would be awesome

Music is missing from Media files

So I have many CD's I have copied to iTunes. I copied them years ago. I'm now trying to copy some of the music files from media to my phone (non-Apple) which requires me to do it from the media file location on my windows.
I noticed music is missing from my music on iTunes. I have not found a way to update/backup whatever to get the missing music to the media files?

iTunes will put any songs for which the "Part of a Compilation" flag is set into the Compilations folder. Unless you have an older type of iDevice there's really no need to ever use "Part of a Compilation" (and even if you do, its only necessary for "Various Artists" compilations). In this example, if you select the album in iTunes, right-click > Get Info > Summary tab and set Part of a Compilation to "No" (and assuming that you have configured iTunes to manage your library) the media will be moved to C:\Users\RS Desktop\Music\iTunes\iTunes Media\Music\.38 Special\Flashback_ The Best of .38 Special.

Ah, that may be the problem ... based on what you're reporting you have these two options set under Edit > Preferences > Advanced:
This means that iTunes determines where to store media based on Artist and Album information - if you start moving files around yourself it will inevitably lose track of it (indeed, iTunes lacks any capability to keep track of media when moved by anything else, irrespective of its settings).

iTunes does sometimes automatically fix related links when you do this - however, it can't be guaranteed to do so and there is no "bulk fix" capability built into iTunes itself.
If possible, restore your iTunes Media using a backup taken before you started moving files around. Turingtest2 has a useful script (http://samsoft.org.uk/iTunes/scripts.asp#FindTracks) that may help to resolve further issues (as always, before you start running any scripts that may modify the content of your library take a backup first).

If you are wondering why you are not getting any responses, it is because you have vented a complaint without any details that make any sense or give anyone something to work on.
If you want help, I suggest actually detailing what has happened, with versions of software etc. Anything that would let us assist.
As a start I am guessing that you have not really got the hang of "How it all works". Firstly download the Pages09_UserGuide.pdf from under the Help menu. Read that and view the Video Tutorials in the same place. A good addition would be the iWork 09 Missing manual book and something to help you learn how to use your Mac.

HT4587 Where is the Music Tab in AirPort Utility? I am using 2TB Time Capsule

I can't fond the Music Tab as specified in this article - "Ensure that "Enable AirPlay/AirTunes" is checked in the AirPort Utility Music tab."

Neither the Time Capsule or AirPort Extreme Base Station support music streaming. As such, if you access either with the AirPort Utility, the Music tab would be missing by design.

How do I delete my "Music Vault" on Nokia Music?

Is there a way I can delete some of the stuff I have previously downloaded?

In the software library (My Music tab) you can sort by Artist, Album, tracks, genres and recently added. You will also have an automatically generated playlist with Recently played and Most played for example.
In your music vault in the store (My Account > Music Vault) you can Artist, Track and the date downloaded.

Anyone got Nokia Music to work with (recognise) N9...

Several times over the last months I have tried to get Nokia Music to work with my N95 8GB.
Every time I have spent hours and hours installing, upgrading, uninstalling etc etc but never success.
The Nokia Music PC software will not recognize my phone.
No matter what kind of connection i choose when i connect the phone - PCSuite, Mediaplayer etc, none of them makes the Nokia Music recognise the phone.
I am currently running Windows XP SP3, PC-suite 7.1.30.9, Nokia Music 1.3.20716.09, phone firmware is 31.0.015, phone code is 0550372
I am (_again_) dead tired of this, and for the moment (again) I truely hate Nokia PC software.
Has anyone got Nokia Music to work with N95 8GB?

Yes - it is working fine for me on a n95-
You need to connect your n95 in Media player mode.
You have 1.3.20716.09 but the latest version is - 1.3.2072
1) You can get the latest version from here - http://musicstore.nokia.com/download.aspx
2) If you are having licencing issue it could be because of the drm folder . If step one does not work try to delete the drm folder - C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\DRM . You need to make sure that hidden files and folders are not hidden and also that protected operating system files are not hidden.
To see hidden files:
1.
On the Tools menu in Windows Explorer, click Folder Options.
2.
Click the View tab.
3.
Under Hidden files and folders, click Show hidden files and folders.
Oh and just to be sure you are using nokia music

You can see in that picture on the left hand side is the phone you drag and drop your music into that phone picture to transfer your music.

This is because the software in the first link (nokia music) is designed to recognise "DRM" software. But nokia PC suite in the second link does not currently do that.

Now my music is missing from iTunes...please help

OK, for today's fun and games: I synced this morning like I always do, but all the music in my iTunes library on PC is missing. After syncing, it still appears on my phone though. I went into the music tab in iTunes with my phone plugged in and for some reason, the "sync music" option is unchecked (no idea why it is unchecked). I am afraid to check it because it says it will replace all the music on my phone with what's in my iT library which currently appears to be nothing! Where did the music on my PC go and how can I get it back!?

I'm having some trouble with Nokia Music on my windows XP computer.
I looked trough all the other threats but nothing looks the same.
Yesterday everything worked fine but after a reboot things got wrong. When I trie to start the app it sais there was an error in the app.
When I trie to reinstall, also removed the files in documents and settings: ...
The error happens even when I trie to uninstall or install.
What can I do about it except reinstall the whole pc?

Ok. I read just about everything on in this discussion group and Apple notes.
I then declared all out war on this this evening. I won.
Here's what I did:
1. Assumption - you have Norton AV or Norton System Works installed. I suppose it will work if you have NIS installed.
2. Removed ALL my anti-spyware programs (i.e. Spybot 1.3 and Microsoft's Anti-Spyware).
3. Rebooted.
4. Opened up Norton AV settings in Norton System Works and selected Internet Worm Protection.
5. Under Applications - Added iTunes and iTunes Helper. Set operation to PERMIT ALL.
6. Under "General Rules", I added a new rule named "iTunes".
7. Under the "Communications Tab", I added a rule to allow UDP traffic to both local and remote ports 5353.
8. Rebooted.
9. This time, when the system started, I got a message indicating that "application iTunes is trying to access the internet." Clicked on "Remember and allowed the operation.
At this point, things started working.
The removal of the Anti-spyware programs MAY or MAY NOT be necessary. I will add them back in to see if they make any difference or not.
Now - Apple, my suggestion to you is to PUBLISH the ports and protocols and network targets. I was only able to gleam the ports used because Sygate indicated that iTunes was using UDP port 5353 to communicate.
Anyway, for those of you with this problem and are running ANY of the programs mentioned here, try my recommended course of action.

P.S. Now, I need to figure out what causes the occassional skip/stutter. But, my iTunes is working.

APExp: Music Tab in AP Admin Disappears - No AirTunes

Network: Two APExpress. APEx 1-Setup for AirTunes, connected to stereo. APEx 2-Bridge-mode with attached USB printer. Stand. setup. Internet works fine, printing works fine.
Issue: No longer can access the Music tab on the APExpress. (Tab is present when opening the AP unit but is disabled/disappears after loading finishes.) Not able to select the base station from iTunes.
Attempted Resolution: 1) Rebooted base station. 2) Cycled power to base station. 3) Uploaded latest version of base station firmware (v6.2). 4) Confirmed behavior from second client machine (also PBG4). 5) Rebooted both computers and again checked Airport Admin with same (no music tab) result.
Curiously, I can see the Music tab on the second unit (bridge) where nothing is connected. However, on the main unit, the tab is no longer present.
Question: Is there something I'm missing short of calling AppleCare?

Is there is a cabled or wireless network to which these two Airport Express devices are connected. Are they cabled to that network, or connected wirelessly?
Or, is Airport Express 1 your network's "base station", and if so is your cable/DSL modem also connected to it? If that is the case, how does Airport Express 2 (which is in "bridge mode") communicate with Airport Express 1.
The answers to those questions notwithstanding:
- do a factory reset of Airport Express 1 per:

- have your Mac connect directly to the wireless network of Airport Express 1 (which after the reset will be called "Apple Network xxxxxx")
- then run the Airport Admin Utility. The Music tab should be shown
