Nokia N70-1 Music Edition - Phone Memory

After update the Phone software (firmware), My phone memory sizes show as free memory 18MB and used 524KB. Before that it shows 32MB free memory.
Kindly some body help to update me the Nokia N70 Music edition (Nokia N70-1) model Shared memory size (Phone Memory) and how to rectify the problem also?

Hi ruben213
I don't know which firmware your N70-ME is using at the moment, key in in *#0000# on standby screen. Bear in mind that Nokia Software Updater just reads the "7 digit product code" found on label under battery to determine which software pack to offer, and you the end user has no say in this matter unfortunately. Also if phone was acquired pre-owned than the product code of the device may not necessarily be that shown on label for reasons which can not be elaborated on this manufacturer's sponsored forum.

  • Nokia N73 (not music edition) Ring tone mute mode

    Hi,
I am having the Nokia N73 (not music edition) phone. If I receive any call when the music player is in the pause mode then I can see the vibrating alert only and not the ring tone. At that time my ring tone is going on mute mode. Is it a build-in functionality? Or it is a problem?
    Thanks,
    Parker.

Try switching profiles. If you see it's set to Silent, turn it to General instead.

  • Nokia N73 Music edition phone dead while updating ...

    Hi,
I just tried to update my nokia N73 Music edition phone to the latest firmware. When I tried it, it said there is no update available, do you want to reinstall the latest firmware. I wanted to get my phone to a clean to, since most programs were misbehaving, unfortunately while upgrading it stopped at a state saying 14 secs remaining. Then after some time, it said the connection is lost.
It also displayed some instructions to remove the battery, and place usb card first, etc.. I followed all those to no avail. The phone just remained blank. Nothing happened. I have restarted my system, removed the battery from the cell phone multiple times, nothing has helped.
        Please help me.
    Thanks,
    Ashok

  • My nokia N-70 Music Edition Screen displayed blank...

    Hi
nokia N-70 Music Edition Screen displayed blank after few hours. After Removing battery, put again & start it becomes ok for few hours.I have already updated the Software Nokia N-70 but no advantage.
    Wht should i do?

strange enough some of the pre-installed apps on the N70 are on the memory card and not the phone memory. which means formatting the memory card will remove everything. it's difficult to get everything back but try these :
1- try to find what you need on the n70 support page
    http://europe.nokia.com/A4144775
    check phone software.
2- if you have the download app installed on your phone , run it and check for the app there.if not check the nokia download store. http://www.download.nokia.com/
3- if your mamory card is not the original provided with the phone, locate your old memory card. using a computer copy and paste the following folders from the old original one to the new one:
    * resource
    * sys
    * private (copy the subdirectories only and not the whole folder)
4- if something is still missing after all this, i guess it's gone for good

    Hello,
Yes, you can find out the phone memory size from File manager.
Go to application manager and enter into the Office folder, here you will get File manager application. Open the File mgr. then go to Options > Memory details. Hopefully you will get the memory details.

  • I need Arabic support for my nokia n 73 music edit...

    Hello ...
I have purchased new nokia n 73 music edition recently ...
I have purchased in india ...
    My mobile's firmware version is 3.0705.1.0.31 ...
When i go for phone language ... i am getting Indonesia, Malaysia, Pilipino and english ...
I need Arabic language support ... please some one help me in this regard ... i shall be much helpful to him ...
I am urgently in need of it ... PLEASE

Nokia phones do not have/support user-installable "language packs".
You could ask if a local Nokia repair center could install a phone software (firmware) with Arabic support: http://www.nokia.com/repair
Otherwise your alternatives may require the use of illegally distributed, hacked software and firmware files, and the discussion is best to leave right there (here).

  • Nokia Email 3.21 update & phone memory question

I just updated to Nokia Email 3.21sucessfully, and it seems to be similar as it was previously on my C5-00.
Some old emails I open are not in bold and some are, is that down to whatever the format of the original email was in?
One other question I wanted to ask was that I updated using the Software Updates app on the phone, and I had no choice of where to install the update to, it seems to have installed to the phone memory.  Is it normal for to install to the phone memory instead of the card memory? or is there a way to move it or perhaps it doesn't work properly unless it's on the phone memory.
Say there is another update, does the update delete the previous email client files as to not clog up space within the phones memory.

I hvae an E72 and I can edit messages that I want to forward.

  • My n73 music edition phone

its the 3rd time it say memory full ,
    please delete some data.
and when i check my phone memory
    its shows 44MB used
and mostly is message that took the space
but i have delete everything in the phone message
can anybody help me asap .

Have u ever checked your mem usage using file manager like X-Plore. in my N73, sometimes drive c is consumed by lifeblog's database (C:\Lifeblog\Database\lifeblog.db) and if that happened, system will alert low mem condition. My trick to prevent this is by putting mp3 file in C (around MBs). coz sometime when that alert comes up, we're unable to open any application (especially the lifeblog). so, if that happened, just delete the mp3, and we will able to open any application. then go to lifeblog, and try to manual clean up (but i'm not so sure, i'm also afraid if lifeblog will also delete actual items instead of in lifeblog database itself), so i never do this, but i will go to settings > item types > and uncheck unecessary items (in my phone, multimedia msgs is the only checked), save and close. if it doesnt help, try to check, save, and close, and uncheck, save, and close. sometimes it works for me, and lifeblog database will shrunk again to around 700kB.
another extreme way, is by killing lifeblog process, and delete the database file (but i'm not sure its safe hehehe, its only my concept), or soft reset.

Hey, the nokia peeps are not directly associated with this board.
They send if any important notice is available via the mods and read only the select topics.
As 5300 xpress msuic supports Java apps, I think you should be able to find out lots of them around the web.

  • Not Enough Memory [Nokia 5800 Xpress Music]

    Hello,
i have a nokia 5800 xpress music mobile phone.
recently, i've been facing an error while trying to change my ringtone from the profiles
when i tap on the screen on the ringing tone tab in general profile (or any other profile), an pop-up tells me the following "not enough memory to display all ringing tones, only read-only memory tones will be displayed"
then, when i tap again , the ringing tones menu open but for sure not listing all of my music files !!
i thought it's a firmware problem, i updated my 5800 to the latest v30 firmware, but the problem still persists.
    please, feed me back
your help will be highly appreciated, thanks in advance
    Best regards,
    Solved!
    Go to Solution.

take out your memory card and consider the first two options. make sure you have a back up and read carefully
     1. *#7780# - Restore factory settings - resets all the settings to the default ( you will not lose any data)
Make sure you back up your data as you will lose all of it when you perform option 2 or 3 on this list. The default code for ALL operations listed here is 12345
    2. *#7370# - Reformat your phone (out of the box, tho keep in mind that most newer nokia phones at least n series, e series and s60 based phones have udp - user data preservation so not ALL data may be lost. still it is a good idea to always do a back up of your stuff.)
    3. This you perform as a last resort. Nothing else is working. If the phone is not showing any activity, proceed with hard formatting , turn off your phone, hold the following buttons while pressing the power button. (the default code is 12345)
hard reset - hold the following buttons *, 3 (number button) and talk/green key. turn on the phone and do not release those buttons until you see the Nokia boot up screen. once you feel the phone power up you can let go off the power button while still holding all three buttons ( for Nokia 5800XM - use the following buttons to do a hard reset, GREEN/RED/CAMERA keys pressed all at once on power up. this will only work on 5800's that have firmware version 20... and up. ) For Nokia N97 (unofficial version but works) is SHIFT /SPACE BAR / BACKSPACE while holding the power button. Again do not let go until you see the handshake screen.
If these codes are not working the only thing for you to do is contact your Nokia Care Center/Service for assistance.

dont worry about ur N95! Fink u should still wait in buying a N91. If Nokia release a Music Edition Firmware for N95 then the audio will be same as N91.
Make a petition on here about N95 Music Edition Firmware should be like N91 Audio quality via Headsets Nokia will listen n make ammendents..!
Coz i made suggestions about N73 Music Edition future fimrware & i got email from Nokia saying they are working on new firmware with the ideas i gave them about N73 ME should be like n91 in audio quality .
But to have "as good as " N91 sound quality both of N73 ME and N95 ME will have to have a dedicated music chip that will develop the top noche audio quality.
    What do y guyz think?
Will nokia ever impliment this thing?
