I am getting this message below if i didn't log in ''You can't use this mobile for unlimited downloads.
Your mobile is already registered for unlimited downloads. If you are trying to activate
a new unlimited download subscription PIN you need to use the new OVI music
Unlimited edition mobile that came with it.''
if i log in with my nokia account ''you can't use this nokia account to download music from nokia music. You can only download music if you log in with your Come with nokia music username.''
At first, there were no such problem but after this four month of subscription i amgetting this type of message. And i have no music username at all. But iuse to download music in my nokian8-00 belle refresh before hard reset.
Is there any solution to this problem ?

    OK, I found out how to renew my ovi music unlimited for another year for what appears to be a reasonable £33.99. I paid. Now I can't use it because the phone I have is already registered. I know! I just extended that registration! Does anyone know how to get round this? Is there a form I can fill in to ask Nokia what to do? My £33.99 suddenly seems like a lot of money!   • Ovi music unlimited submission renew

    Hello,
    Anyone knows if (and how) is possible to renew the Ovi music unlimited?
    I bought a nokia 5800 with "Came with music (Italia)" option last december. It will end the 23.
    I have read that is possible to renew it from 30 day before the end up to 30 day after the end.
    I want, if it is possible, to renew it for another one year.  I have followed the instruction present on support site but I'm not able to renew the service because at this address: http://music.ovi.com/r/account/extend I don't find nothing related to renew (Only a link to know when the service will be over)
    I have sent one support request more than one week ago in the contact session but I had no answer (Maybe it is a difficult question!?!).
    Now I'm trying to find answer within the forum...

  • N8 OVI Music Unlimited Downloads

    Hi everyone
    I am trying to activate my OVI Music unlimited subscription on an N8 (had not done this before upgrading to belle) and I get the following message:
    You can't use this mobile for Nokia Music Unlimited edition mobile.
    This is because this isn't a Nokia Music Unlimited edition mobile.
    Strange thing is this mobile came with the music guide and this activation PIN in the sales package (from South Africa). Now it is telling me that it cannot be used with this service.
    Can anyone help with what could be the problem and how to go about solving it?

    In regards to your concern, the Nokia Music Unlimited subscription can only be used by the original owner of the Comes with music phone. This is because of the one (1) Subscription - 1 IMEI - 1 Nokia Account policy which means that the phone can only recognize the very first Nokia Account activated for the Nokia Music Unlimited subscription.

    i have purchased my mobile on nov 11th of 2010, its music unlimited edtion. but i came to knw thats its a defect piece, and so i was replaced with new handset by NOKIA care, but now the mobile is displaying a message that its not music unlimited edition, even i was not replaced with same coloured n8

    To add to greycounciller's post.. even though the versions may be market specific, you must have got the replacement in the same region , hence the issue of market specific should not arise..
    I advise you to get it replaced again with the colour of your choice and OVI Music Unlimited.. If you do not get satisfied, Pl. use the 'Contact Us' tab at the top of this page and inform Nokia about the issue..

  • Download Failed - Ovi Music Unlimited - X6-00

    Hi,
    I recently purchased X6-00 8GB. I have activated Ovi Music Unlimited on my laptop. But I am unable to download even one song. The download starts and then after 10-50%, the download restarts. Over and over again. After multiple attempts, I get the message 'Download failed'. Really frustrating.
    I saw that this type of error is already being discussed, but I could find any solution posted. Can someone please let me know how to resolve this issue?!

    I have been trying to get a solution for this problem from Nokia through email, but no such luck.
    Each conversation is replied by a different executive. Solutions provided are lame, and repeated by each executive. And they simply don't read the mail properly. 
    In any case, I have found a temporary workaround:
    Open Internet Explorer, and go to music.nokia.com
    Sign-in with your Nokia account (you may have to set your country the first time)
    Search/Browse and find the song you want to download
    Click on the download button, and you will get a prompt to install Ovi Music Downloader software the first time
    After installing, you can download the songs through your computer without any problem, but there is a catch - you have to connect your Nokia mobile to your computer, and the song gets directly downloaded to your mobile.
    Not a complete solution, but it works for me! It does, however, tell me that the problem is not with my net connection or PC or browser or windows media player - the problem is some bug in Nokia Ovi Player!!

    i've E7, i have a Nokia account, there;s no problem when i tried to download song from my mobile phone. i REPEAT, NO PROBLEM, so i've succes to download song from my mobile phone before and i've play all my song from Ovi Music Unlimited (OMU), BUT after i've upgrade my phone (e7), OMU ask about Voucher to start download.. i need solutions. because i know nokia sell SOLUTION now. i tried to create a new account but still not working, i use my old account still not working. i tried to call 021-52NOKIA and i spek with the guy name Iqbal, and he said that i need to sign in, log in, create account, blablabla, everybody know that need an account to use OVI SERVICE, so his answer is not helping me. So anybody can solve my problem???

    You can sign into Ovi with the same details you use here, if the Comes with music licence you have is for a previous handset, then it won't work with the E7, it's the phone that 'comes with music' not the account !!
    If your new E7 came with music you should have a licence/key number to activate it, if not you will have to pay for music !

    As it seems there are some confusion around to what the experience is when logged in to Ovi Music Unlimited, I have taked some screenshots which I hope illustrate the difference between having an active Ovi Music Unlimited subscription and being a A la carte customer.
    If you are still having issues after logging in to your account with not being able to download music for free, please take a screenshot which shows product prices and your username (like image 2 in the document) and contact Nokia Care. Be prepared to send them this screenshot, together with your username and you IMEI number.

    After all the changes Nokia applied to Ovi - that I used to download music only - I lost the list of downloaded music and some credit I had. Could that be restored?

  • N8 Ovi Music Unlimited connection

    On monday I bought the Nokia N8 with 6 months Ovi unlimited music downloads. I have ovi player (ver 2.1.11*) and ovi suite (ver 2.2*) installed. I want to activate my unlimited downloads subscription. Ovi player recognises the N8 and can sync music between PC and phone. I have tried all methods for getting unlimited downloads.
    To try to connect i start Ovi player and then select 'GET UNLIMITED DOWNLOADS',  it then tells me to 'Attach your Ovi Music Unlimited edition mobile' and 'select either Media player, Media transfer'. but still it cannot connect. Strangely at the bottom left corner of the Ovi player display there is a A SMALL KEY ICON - SEE ATTACHED PICTURE FILE. i dont know if this is usual or not.
    SOMEONE PLEASE HELP. the pin expires in 2 months time.

    Check the paperwork that came with your phone. In some countries, the N8 has a different set-up method for Ovi Music Unlimited which has no PIN number.
    What country are you in, by the way? Normally the unlimited service is 12 months free downloads.

    I recently bought a nokia x6 and the ovi store said that i would be receiving a message that would include my ovi music unlimited download subscription pin but this did NOT happen. i tried working on getting a new pin from the nokia website but that didn't help. can anyone please tell me how to go about it?

    You may contact the retailer to inform that you have not received the PIN yet and to arrange for it..
    You may try this also..
    On the OVI Music site.. Register and Login.. Click ' Activate' tab under OVI Music Unlimited. Click on Can't find PIN.. and then select appropriate option in the following screens...
    Recently I have read somewhere on this forum that if the Phone comes with OVI Music Unlimited downloads.. just by connecting the phone to PC / OVI Music player it gets registered...(Though not sure about it...)
    Edit : Just read the post that says that the last option did not work..

  • Ovi music unlimited Licence expired or missing

    I purchased a nokia N8 with a ovi music unlimited package.
    Initially everything was fine but some days latter suddenly whenever I download songs through Ovi player and transfer them to Nokia N8, the phone dosent play them and says 'Licence expired or missing. Get new license?' and then each song takes a minute or so to get a new licence key.
    Please help somebody..

    Its very likely that during repairs the phone must have been reset and the licence is gone with that.. If you can't find other solution, Pl. use the 'Contact Us' tab at the top of this page and along with the Repair Reference No. request for another key..

    I got an advertisement in Newspaper  that nokia is giving unlimited music download with some selected mobiles . So i got an store and bought Nokia 5130 Xpressmusic . In the box I got some manuals and the ovi music unlimited pin.
    When I tried to register my Ovi music unlimited service it says "This is not a valid Ovi PIN". Someone please help me ..
