Nokia N8 bluetooth unable to sent file photo or mu...

Dear nokia
I was and still am a nokia #1 fan i have been using nokia N series for a very long time since nokia N70 came out .I have just buy a nokia N8 for 2 week now and i have found a problem with the bluetooth ,its seem i cant sent file via bluetooth to other mobile like (sony,motorola,china phone,notebook) i was able to recieve file from SOME of the other mobile but i can't sent from my n8 to other hp ,but i was able to sent and recieve file via blutooth with other nokia phone with no problem . i have try reset to factory setting ,try to reboot and also reinstall the operating system but with no luck .i even try using my old nokia N97 to sent a file to other phone eg:sony ,motorola,china phone,notebook and it work with no problem soo my question is is a nokia n97 is able to sent and receive with no problem why can't the N8 do the same , Please nokia help me with this im from singapore and i try to explaning the problem to my local nokia care center but they are not pro in software they are just giving me the same reason again and again they are working with blind pay ,following normal troubleshooting that can be found in the web site . PLEASE THIS IS A SOFTWARE BUG do fix it .and my local care center and website do not support the latest software update for my phone like in your country pls help me with this .I think my local care center too lazy with the software update version .seem every one in my contry is too **bleep** up with iphone 4 and 3gs

1st thing the auto focus work on image mode not video mode (sorry for not telling full info ) try rec a video and place it near a small details eg :word on a book , pc screen like facebook or on the keybord of your pc the back ground is fine just the details the word in not clear blur no auto focus when recording a video

If you are using Series 40 Theme Studio V2.2, it creates themes for S40 handsets using feature pack 2, and as far as can tell the 6101 uses an earlier feature pack, even after firmware upgrade.
Try downlading Series 40 Theme Studio V1.2, themes created with that version should be perfectly compatible.

Play book bluetooth unable to receive files

I have just started using my playbook but i am having trouble sending files e.g music, pics and videos to my playbook via bluetooth. i have successfully paired my devices to my playbook but when i try to send via bluetooth i get the message "failed to find service". I have tried to send using my 8520, and i also made sure that my playbook bluetooth was on and discoverable but still with no success.

but I'm thinking you can't transfer files using bluetooth, you'll have to use the first link I posted.

Recently, iPhoto will no longer allow my to export photos onto my folders on my desktop. It just says that it is unable to create file. Not sure why this is happening?

Then do the following:
Fix #1
Launch iPhoto with the Command+Option keys held down and rebuild the library.
Select the options identified in the screenshot.
If Fix #1 fails to help continue with:

Using iPhoto Library Manager to Rebuild Your iPhoto Library
Download IPhoto Library Manager 4 for OS XC 10.6.8 and iPhoto 8.1.2 and later or iPhoto Library Manager 3 (for OS X 10.5.8 and iPhoto 7.1.5 and earlier) and launch.
Click on the Add Library button, navigate to your Home/Pictures folder and select your iPhoto Library folder.
Now that the library is listed in the left hand pane of iPLM, click on your library and go to the File ➙ Rebuild Library menu (iPLM 3) or Library ➙ Rebuild Library menu (iPLM 4) option.
In the next window name the new library and select the location you want it to be placed.
Click on the Create button.
Note: This creates a new library based on the LIbraryData.xml file in the library and will recover Events, Albums, keywords, titles and comments but not books, calendars or slideshows. The original library will be left untouched for further attempts at fixing the problem or in case the rebuilt library is not satisfactory.

Look in the iTunes App Store, there are both BT and Wi-Fi apps for transfering files of different sorts.
Or you can use an app like Dropbox.

Nokia Lifeblog - Unable to open file error

Hi all
Im using Nokia lifeblog on my Nokia N70. While it works fine, I have a lot of text and pic message entries in my lifeblog view which when i try to open give a message sayin "unable to open file, delete item??
I was wondering why this happens.

Hi and welcome to the BlackBerry Community support forums!
Do you have the images on phone memory or on a micro sd card? Ether way, plug the device into a computer and move the pictures onto that computer to see if the computer will recognize them. If not they are corrupt.
As far as the device, There seems to be a problem saving the pictures properly, I would recommend reloading device software through BlackBerry desktop software.

How do I bluetooth files (photos, documents, etc) from my mac laptop to my ipad?

Hello and thanks in advance for any advice anyone has concerning this issue. I bought an iPad and I hate it! I can't transfer files, photos etc to my iPad. I would like to use Bluetooth since it's so fast. I don't want to sync the entire contents of iTunes to my iPad. If I did that I would lose all the pics I took with my iPad. I just want to be able to send files back and forth between the 2 devices. I don't want to be on the Cloud either. There's no reason for Apple to have a copy of my pics on their Cloud. My Samsung 3 Android phone works better than this iPad for file transfers. Help... please!!!

I have a Razor (Cingular) Phone with bluetooth. I sent a song file to the phone which the phone accepted. But I cant find the file on the phone. The file was cut down in size so it will fit. Where can I find the file and can I make it a ringtone. The format the song was sent in was a .wav format.

should it be a .wav file? Maybe you should use MP3 file. MP3 files are smaller too i think.
i just uploaded a MP3 onto my RAZR using bluetooth. I found it using the "Media Gallery" on my phone. The song was at the bottom in the "Sounds" list. For some reason the song title was blanked out on my phone, so i had to rename it. So if you're looking for the file, the name has probably been removed.

Nokia 3500 bluetooth prob

I have a nokia 3500 classic phone .From a few days its bluetooth is unable to recieve any music files i.e songs ,ringtones etc .It can send files via bluetooth but it does not accept the file it shows a message 'operation failed'.My cell is able to recieve the images via bluetooth but the music files have a problem.Please anyone help me.

I found the solution to the problem...
These MiniSD Cards are very fast but become slow if they are worked directly in the Root Directory. When you use the Nokia PC Suite, it creates aidtional folders to storage your music o images. Since we were trying to "beam" files through our BlueTooth, they all go to the roor directry.
In order to avoid the problem again, whenever you beam files onto your MiniSD Card, relocate them immediately in folders o create new folders to storage them.
I copied all the files to my computer, reformatted the card and I used the Nokia PC Suite to send them back to the card in my phone. It automatically created the folders for me.
From now on, whenever I beam files onto my cell, i relocate the files in folders instead the card's root directory.
No problem whatsoever after that!

Text Message: Unable to execute file for security ...

Whenever I'm viewing a text message, when I try to open up the "Options" menu, I see the above message, "Text Message: Unable to execute file for security reasons". This doesn't seem to impact the functionality of the menu at all, everything seems to work.
Anyone ever come across this before?
I've updated the phone (Nokia E66) to the latest software, and I've only got one application installed other than the default base install (Google calendar sync utility), removing that doesn't change the problem.

I am unable to print color photos from i photo using a Brother Printer

I am unable to print color photos from i photo using a Brother MFC-6490CW all in one. The photos appear to be in grayscale. I have checked the printer settings, but for some reason I am not able to access the color management on my printer from printer set up. It only gives me the standard option. I have spent hours checking Bother's website and Apple's and I am not able to come up with a valid answer. I know that the color print works. If I print something from the internet of from outlook it will print in color. I know all of my cartridges are in working order, I have cleaned the print head on my Brother, but I am still not able to print photos in color!!!
What puzzles me the most is why I am unable to really access the color management menu on my printer? It just does not come up. I have the option from paper handling to print photos, but this has nothing to do with the quality. I have also tried printing the photo from an Adobe PDF file and I still have the same problem. Can anyone point me in the right direction? Thank you.

In the Print dialogue box click on the little triangle to the right of the name of the printer. That will expand the dialogue box.

Unsolved: unable to open file because it isn't a valid Keynote document

I'm trying to open a presentation I made some time ago, it is a .key file I used to open without any problems. Now the message appears:
"Unable to open file because it isn't a valid Keynote document".
I tried the solution described here, but it didn'd work: i change extension to .zip, unzip it and there is no index file. There are only pictures from the presentation in .tiff
I also sent the file to my friends and they had the same problem opening it. It's very strange, I've successfully opened it before. And the problem is only with THIS file!
Please help me out!

Have you tried to create a new Keynote Presentation? Do you have another previously saved Keynote file you can try to open? These will make sure it is a problem with this specific presentation and not the whole program.
Try to delete the Keynote Preferences. They are located in the folder Macintosh HD>Users>your username>Library>Preferences and titled com.apple.iWork.Keynote.plist.
Your profile shows that you are still on Mc OS 10.6.6, is that true? You might try to update to 10.6.7 as I believe that there was a font issue fixed in this update (I don't know for sure since I am still on 10.5.8).
Try those and report back and we will see what we can come up with.
