i m from canada and got nokia from rogers the nokia website shows updates available but my phone dont find anything to update
whts wrong with my phone i m using 013.016 software version n it has alot of problems i want to upgrade to latest software

It is my advise to not disconnect your phone unless ur ovi suite says to do so, It took more than 45 mins on mine phone. i am not sure how long its gonnna take on urs one.
again there are limitations of this new software update (symbian Anna) it might not be available in your country. it is available in UK i aint sure about other countries. if you wana change your code leme know i'll send you mine.

After all you've tried, Dah*veed is probably right about needing warranty assistance.
But first check to be sure Settings-Airplane Mode is set to OFF, and Settings-WiFi-WiFi is set to ON.
Try unplugging your WiFi router for a few seconds. Then reset the iPad's network. Go to Settings-General-Reset-Reset Network Settings. You will need to reconnect to your WiFi.

Nokia suite does not show latest software version

Today while browzing Nokia site happened to see new phone software version. When I checked through Nokia suite it was showing the software version that was already installed in the phone.
Do anybody else who own a 701 came across this anamoly

Phone locked upgrading to latest software, ITunes does not recognise phone

My phone has locked while upgrading to the latest software. I suspect the reason is security running on my PC as this occurred onece before. Anyway, the screen is frozen showing the itunes/USB connection graphic. I can't reset the phone using any of the suggested methods on help, and iTunes doesn't recognise the phone so I can't restore. I've read the help menus for the last two hours and I'm stuck.
Help please.

Try DFU-mode:
connect iPhone
press + hold power & home for approx 7 seconds (screen should turn black)
release power, but keep on holding home until (hopefully) iTunes recognizes your iPhone

Software: Latest Iphone drivers
I had been experiencing problems with not being able to restore my iphone with existing software. I finally upgraded the software for a restore and after 3 attempts faile, on the fourth time it appeared to completed the process.
Now with the upgrade there was additional features installed, such as Icloud etc, but my main concern was that I am no longer able to access personal hot-spot!
It is actually no longer available in settings. Can you plesae confirm whether this has this been removed on new software?
Is there another option apart from having install my old software back to use this function which I rely on daily?
Please note that I do not have a previous backup on my old version to restore to previous version.
Appreciate any solutions anyone may offer!

It has not been removed. Who is your carrier? The carrier must support it and you must subscribe to a data plan that includes tethering. The only other way to get it to appear is on a jailbroken phone.

Problems with firefox since upgrading to latest software

Since upgrading to the latest Firefox when I go to open my web page details from a usb key my index page appears as a blank page with a background colour, no text pictures, i cannot access any of my other pages. no toolbar including the refresh button, help

I also have a sound issue with fast track pro and posted this on m-audio forum today to see what turns up...
Periodically the sound through my FastTrack Pro crackles then dies.
I think this is more prevalent, albeit I don't understand why, when changing sound 'sources' e.g. if last use was via Ableton and next was from youtube, or visa versa - I can't replicate this at will, it seems to be random.
I can resuscitate things things by going in to the driver settings and changing a setting e.g. the output channel, saving (Applying), then changing back and saving again.

If you don't have a backup, then all your pics/text/notes are gone.
You can sync back music and app. If you were syncing your contacts with a program in itunes, then you'll get that back.
Not sure why you didn't do a backup, especially prior to doing an upgrade.

Why have I got your latest software on my computer unasked for and behaving as the default software. I don't want it, I dont need it and I want to remove it....unless of course you are giving me it as a fully working package for free.

Your upgrading software suggested that I had upgrades so I followed your advice and, after a load of download time I was presented with trial versions of your latest software suite. This is not right, it wasn't asked for and it is dominating access to your earlier software. Also my copy of Photoshop Elements is not working at all, it just wanders off into la-la land on even basic operations. What are you going to do to correct this lamentable situation? and when ?
You will gather that I am very cross with you. I am also pretty hacked off with my apparent inability to find a phone number for customer support so I can drip at you in person. Mine is 01833 640045 should you decide to help me.

I do apologise to members of this forum for my display of bad temper, it was generated by a series of problems with my system and this one from Adobe just took the biscuit and I thought I had finally reached Adobe. My fingers are poised over the phone this morning awaiting the start of the working day.
One thing that I cannot explain is that this series of trial programs, not clear in the updater, from Adobe is that it seems to have damaged my copy of Elements 10. I cannot put text onto pictures. I have tried uninstalling and reinstaling Elements 10 to no avail. Anyway we will see what they say.

Don't save. Close the documents.
Pages '09 should still be in your Applications/iWork folder.
Pages 5 will damage/alter older files, something Apple didn't tell its users.
Pages 5 is a severely stripped down version with over 90+ features removed.
We recommend trashing/archiving Pages 5 after Exporting any files you may have saved back to Pages '09.
Also rate/review Pages 5 in the App store.
