Nokia N8 empty select community screen no solution...

It has been a week since I have gotten my N8 and to my dissapointment, the Social app is not showing a facebook or twitter icon and I am stuck with a blank Select Community screen.
I have tried uninstalling, updating to 1.2, factory resetting (which resulted in losing my paramount and nat geo app) and I still cannot fix this. Can nokia do something about this? There are multiple threads all around the world with this problem as well and I need a solution fast.

Traced it back to the operator SIM.
With my operator SIM the Community list stays empty.
I tried a SIM I've purchased while on vacation in the Netherlands and upon starting Social I finally got the option to select either Facebook or Twitter.
The dutch SIM is more than a year inactive, it didn't roam with my local operator and thus I had no GPRS connection. Social was working over WiFi.
After configuring my facebook account and twitter and successfully using it, I tried it again with my Operator SIM but got the message "Your access to the service has expired. To upgrade your service, please contact your operator." when I try to access my facebook account via the Social application!
Either now I have to bark at my GSM Operator to have them upgrade my SIM or enable something in their network or Nokia have to change the Social application so it can work regardless the Operator you may be using!
Hopefully this sheds some light on how to fuurther proceed with this problem!

Hi everyone,
Recently I obtained N8 and am trying to use Nokia Social (I tried both 1.1 and 1.2).
In "Select Community" screen, I guess Twitter and Facebook icons or such are supposed to be shown. However in my case, no icons are displayed(only the title "Select community" and "Cancel" button are shown), so I can't choose / set up any social network services at all.
"Add social network" brings me the same empty screen. I tried several uninstall / re-install and hard reset, but the problem won't go away.
Of course I have Twitter / Facebook account, and Nokia account as well.
Do you have any clue?

Is the external formatted to Mac OS Extended?
Right click the external icon on the Desktop and select Get Info.
This will tell you the current format.

How to transport a select - option screen in dialogue programme

I have Created select-option field in dialogue program ( With the help of SUBSCREEN)
Now i need to Transport this Select option Field To Live Server ....
Poblem is select-option field is not updating in Live server ....
i have changed some logic in the flow logic of select-option screen. (Just added the F4 help in flow logic)
while transporting it is fetching the standrd select option field & Flow logic...
not the changed one ..........?????????
plz suggest me possible way to accomplish my requirment.

Clear the cache and the cookies from sites that cause problems.

nokia N-70 Music Edition Screen displayed blank after few hours.After Removing battery,put again & start it becomes ok for few hours.I have already updated the Software Nokia N-70 but no advantage.
Wht should i do?

strange enough some of the pre-installed apps on the N70 are on the memory card and not the phone memory. which means formatting the memory card will remove everything. it's difficult to get everything back but try these :
1- try to find what you need on the n70 support page

2- if you have the download app installed on your phone , run it and check for the app there.if not check the nokia download store. http://www.download.nokia.com/
3- if your mamory card is not the original provided with the phone, locate your old memory card. using a computer copy and paste the following folders from the old original one to the new one:

* sys
* private (copy the subdirectories only and not the whole folder)
4- if something is still missing after all this, i guess it's gone for good

The update server is down; try this temporary workaround
App Store>Purchased>Select "All"
Note: Look out for apps that have the word "Update"

Is there any method to display multiple selection (single,ranges,...) (like select-options screen in report programming) in dynpro screens (using screen designer).

In the screen text box properties in the DICT tab you can specify search Help, where u can allow multiple entries to the box.

Skiping initial selection criteria screen of HR report for Manager Desktop

Dear All,
The reports are configured using a custom scenario (Z Scenario) for Manager Desktop and used over the Portal through MSS. I have a requirement where for only one report (named Expired Qualifications) the initial selection criteria screen which comes when accessed through portal needs to be disabled or skipped and directly the transaction S_AHR_61015536 for this report needs to be called.
Please provide the inputs if it can be done and how for one report only.

I have checked the thread suggested by you but the report here is not independent transaction integrated using iView. It is a part of Scenario which makes the reports available to the managers. It uses MSS Standard iView "Reports" and "Selection Criteria". Both iViews are in one page as delivered by SAP. The reports iView displays all the reports configured in the scenario for Manager Desktop and Selection Criteria iView is launched first in the portal content area when the report ( "Expired Qualifications") link is clicked from the Reports iView.

Empty selection options after report run

After the execution of my abap report sap returns to the selection options screen in which all the selected values from the run are still mentioned. How can i refresh the selection screen (so no values in the selection options after the report run) ?
this is the code (all parameters as you can see) :

Im Using Variables for the Selections of my Planninglevel. These Variables are filled by a User Exit.
What do I have to do when I want to Leave the selections for a Variabel empty?
By not using a Variable I would Type in # in the Slections of my Planninglevel, but how can I set it via ABAP-Coding.

in BPS there's a difference between an empty selection (= all values) and # (= unassigned value only).
If you want to set the exit variable to all values then return one range entry in eto_charsel (for example: I, BT, "0000", "9999"). If you need the unassigned value only then return an entry with I,EQ and leave low and high empty.

Albums appear empty in full screen mode

In full screen mode some of my albums show up as empty. These albums can be accessed from the regular (non-full screen) view. Once the album is accessed in regular screen mode, I can swith to full screen mode and see the photos, but when I hit the "All Albums" button, iPhoto (9.4.1) goes back to reporting that the ablum is empty. Anyone have any experience with fixing this issue?

Big screw up at my end. I have albums in folders, and without that hierachical structure it was very easy for me to confuse one album with another. It turns out that all the albums were the same in both views. Empty in regular view and empty in full screen view, it's just I couldn't tell which was which.
My bad.
