Nokia N8 - how to remove a calendar?

N8 supports several calendars - but I have not found instructions how to remove a calendar if you don't need it.

Serveral calenders? Err no! I don't know any mobile which supports more than one calender. The N8, N97, N73 and many other phones only have ONE calender.
If you want to delete an entry just tab-and-hold on the specific entry and wait until the popups shows up, then select "Delete".

How to remove all calendars from OSX

I have a MBP with OSX Lion. iCloud all set up.
I want to delete all local calendars from MBP so I can run a sych with iCloud so I don't duplicate events.
How to I delete all local calendars so my iCloud sync stays clean.
I'm surprised that in addition to options to merge events, they did not have an option to delete current local events and overwrite with iCloud.

PS. I think this can be done by deleting some library files, but I would prefer to hear from someone before attempting this solution.

If you sync your calendars in iCloud, it will remove them from the computer. You don't have the option to keep them local.
To verify this, quit iCloud. This will be done by signing out. It should tell you that your calendars won't be available locally and you can verify that by opening iCal.
The local calendars are stored in you user folder>Library under the Calendars folder.
Personally, I wish there were an option to keep them local when signing out of iCloud like there is with Contacts.

I was searching for a method and while reading this I suddenly found a easier way.
While removing the back panel, go all the way after unlocking the latch almost flipping the whole back panel. This nudges the top left corner of the battery out of its slot.

Upon my first use of iCloud my Calender is now continuously hung-up with the message "Moving calendars to server account" I tried to go into system and iCloud preferences and it won't let me change anything. Not being a Windows user I am not sufficiently familiar with the process of removing your second calendar as I don't use m.google.com sync. However there is a way of having multiple Google calendars on your PC if you want. If you follow my instructions from here on setting up CalDAV sync between GCal and the iPhone then follow Google's instructions from here on syncing with Sunbird. It would mean you changing your calendar from Outlook to Sunbird as Outlook isn't supported for CalDAV sync with GCal whereas Sunbird is

How to remove calendar in ical

I clicked on a link that added a calendar to my ical which has now synced with my Google calendar and added all the events to it as well. Unfortunately, I did not realize that this was going to add every single instance (multiple events per day) to all my calendars.
I'd like to reverse this action but there is not easy way to do this in ical it seems. I cannot "delete" the calendar because it does not appear in the list of subscribed calendars in ical.
I subscribed to two calendars this way and I'd like to remove them both. I also have to now deal with how to remove hundreds of entries in my Google calendar....and it seems there is no batch delete there either unless I pay for a third party program....arrrgh
If anyone can shed some light on this I'd be most grateful.

This adds the events contained in this calendar directly to iCal and I can't for the life of me find a way to "unsubscribe" or eliminate these entries short of erasing them manually one by one. Unfortunately, there are many of them.

How can I remove dropdown calendar menu from date/time field.

I set up a javascript calculation based on the input of a date field. As long as the user enters the date manually the script works fine. If user attempts to select date by drop down menu then script will not work. How can I remove the calendar feature from the Date field?

You may have to wire custom script to get you what you need. That would probably work on 'exit' event.
Just you give you better Idea here is some thing I have on a date field. If user types his own date instead of picking from calendar this code checks whether it is valid date or not and returns to the same field either they enter valid date or clear the field.
This is FormCalc script. You may get the idea how this works and make it work for you using the same logic either in FormCalc or JavaScript.

How to remove calendar syncing with more than one calendar?

I have no idea how I did it, but my Blackberry Curve 8310 somehow synced with TWO calendars. I always had it syncing with my Outlook one and that still works fine, but somehow it also synced to my Hotmail calendar somewhere along the way - but I haven't used that calendar in a very long time and don't even use my Hotmail account anymore, so it's just confusing everything. I never meant to tell it to sync to that one and for the life of me I can't figure out how to get it to remove all that calendar info that it added! Can someone help with instructions? I'm fairly technically savvy, I just can't figure out how to do it on my own.

Do you want to remove the hotmail account all together? If so you can delete it from either your carrier's BIS page, or from the personal email setup icon on your device.
If you just want to remove the calendar try going to Options | Advanced Options | Service Book. Find your Hotmail account's CICAL service book and delete it

any help would make me happy. As it stands now from looking on the web it can't be deleted but making sure before i return this ipod touch. I wan't a clean item the way I wan't it and not how they want it. There is no such thing as theme-less screen. The only difference is if you are using DEFAULT loaded theme or an INSTALLED theme which you installed. You can go to menu>settings>personal>themes>general>and select a different installed theme if there are any.

How do I remove duplicate calendars from my iPod Touch?

I just synced iCal with my iPod after removing mobile me and now I have duplicate calendars on my iPod Touch. How can I remove these calendars? My iPod has one set of calendars that is called "On my iPod Touch" and another set (exactly the same) called "untitled account". I'd like to remove the untitled account and I would like to know if there's something I should change to avoid the duplication in the future. Thanks.

If the calendar still exists in iCal, delete it there and then sync your iPod. That should eliminate the extra calendar(s).
If that doesn't do it, make sure iCal is setup the way you want it and then do the following:
1. With your iPod recognized by iTunes, click on the Info tab in iTunes.
2. Scroll to the bottom of the page
3. Check the box on the application that you want to overwrite data on the iPod
4. Sync your iPod
That box will not stay checked so you don't need to worry about accidently doing it again.

does the time stamp with the ":" a part of your output file?
else use a replaceAll function in your mapping and replace the : with empty string then use the value in the variable substitution
Another option is use the normal BPM for 1: N message flow. The use a simple java mapping that will introduce a dynamic configuration and you can create the file name as you want. the java mapping will be used in the flow of messages from BPM to target system.
