Nokia N8 manufacture date / production date ?

I read somewhere that  *#92702689# can show the manufature date of the phone, but only if it is still under warranty period. After that it shows you only a lifetimer like hours:minutes . I also read that this can be reseted with some software. So, how can I find out what is the date that my Nokia N8 was built ?  Some people said the saw on the box something like week.year but I don't have this on my 2 boxes of N8. I want to know this because I want to switch the batteries between my old N8 and another N8 that I bought as used , since the life timer shows 473 hours on one and 101 on another, but if it is reseted ...

Did you at least bother reading all the text I wrote or do you have difficulties understanding the reason I wrote it ? I have 2 Nokia N8 and I want to exchange their batteries between them in order to have the better one in the phone that I usually keep with me. The disassembly procedure can be found freely on Internet, there are only 2 screws that allows you to pull out the battery. Is that a violation of the warranty ? Do you have an answer that can help me, or you just like to type words ?
Mr. Mobile Sensei , how can I find the manufacture date of my Nokia N8, one bought as new and another bought as used ? So I can know which battery is newer ! Is that clear enough now ?

    Hello!
    Can you tell me how to find out the manufacture date of my Satellite A110-334 with the serial "SY6224123K"?
    I need this information for my insurance!
    I found only this link for HDD`s: http://www.storage.toshiba.eu/index_manual.php?pid=220&sid=536&la=en
    But there is no "S" on the first digit!??
    So it is maybe "Y6" which can be November 2006! Is this right?

    This is the information on the link above:
    How to encode a Toshiba Hard Disk Drive Serial Number?
    The Toshiba serial number (S/N) includes details of the date of manufacture. The first digit of the serial number indicates the Month of manufacture and the 2nd digit indicates the Year.
    Example:
    M Y x x x x x x x
    M = Month
    Y = Year
    The month digit goes from 1, for January, through to 9, for September, and then X, Y and Z, for October, November and December.
    Examples:
    2 8 1 7 0 0 0 1 A
    2 = February
    8 = 1998
    3 0 5 4 4 3 0 6 T
    3 = March
    0 = 2000
    X 9 D 7 8 3 3 1 T
    X = October
    9 = 1999
    The remaining digits contain information about factory and production line, and some digits are reserved for a continuously running serial number.

    Hi Guys,
    I have activated SLED in Article master.(We are using SAP IS Retail, ECC 6.00)
    At the time of GRN, users have entered manufacturing date to check
    remaining shelf life for an article.
    I have made following customization (using transaction code OMJE)

    In spite of above IMG settings (No Check at at Goods Issue), system
    shows an error message that, Enter the date of production (Message No.
    12018) in transaction code VL02N.
    Pls note that, we don't want system to check SLED at the time of PGI.
    Any feedback....most welcome.

  • Inspection Lot at delivery - include manufacturing date

    Hello,
      We have a requirement where for a Product which is being shipped to the customer the manufacturing date of the product on the delivery needs to be within a particular time frame (say 3 - 6 months). If not this is rejected by the customer.
    This division does not want to use Batch Managment, this would  be an ideal solution. I was wondering wether is there a way this can be done by using inspections lot during outgoing delivery ? I was tryng to research Inspection lots , QM is not my strong forte I am trying to understand this process.
    Any standard or customization suggestions would be welcome.
    Thanks for your help in advance.

    AKM,
    Thanks for the reply back and outlining the different options. Unfortunately we do not have WM in SAP.
    Could I request you to elaborate on the last point
    "But if you are using make to order (special stock like sales order stock, project stock) you may be able to use material classification to select manufacturing date from material document number "
    How can we use material classification in this ?
    Thanks,

  • Manufacturing date

    Hi,
    We have a scenario where we want to maintain manufacturing date of the item when the item is goods receipt.Also the iitem prices depend on the manufacturing date.when the user runs the pricelist report he should get item code manufacturing date and the price.
    Pls advise.
    Rgds

    Hi,
    I think it would be better to use batch management for the item. So, the item is managed by batch.
    You could use admission date field in the batch management screen as a manufacturing date,  the date is automatically filled when you try to add good receipt or receipt from production or delivery or invoice documents including inventory tranfer. Select on every transaction in the management method field.
    if you do not want the admission date, you could use the manufacturing date as your batch number.
    For price, I suggest to create UDF that reflects price in the batch management screen. You must input price manually while adding or create the receipt or delivery document. or it could be probably query formatted search but I am not sure. it need to test
    Rgds,

  • Batch Manufacturing date

    Hi there,
    my customer controls the stock they manufacture with batch numbers.
    The customer wants the due date of the production order to be inserted in the manufacturing date field on the batches setup screen  when completing the production order.
    I have tried without any luck...can someone please help me with this...
    thank you
    Kind regards
    Ian

    Hi Ashis
    I am aware of the function of maintaining batches, but this happens after the production process has been completed.
    I need to populate the manufacturing date during the production process...
    e.g. Production has been completed, the user opens a receipt from production and selects the production order, when adding the receipt from production the batch setup screen appears and the user can complete the batch details for the item manufactured, on this screen they want the manufacturing date to be populated automatically from the Production order due date...
    I will try to use UDF's to see if it works...
    Thank you

  • Finding the manufacture date on an access point via software

    I'd like to determine the manufacture date of our access points because we plan on converting to LWAPP? Can someone tell me the what CLI command to use and which field has the answer. thanks.

    Hi Thomas,
    Not sure about finding the Manufacture date (maybe you are trying to find out about the presence of a MIC certificate) but we did go through this coversion from Autonomous to Lightweight on our infrastructure last summer.In this process we did convert about 70 1121's and 1231's to LWAPP and it worked very well. Here are some relevant docs;
    Upgrading Autonomous Cisco Aironet Access Points to Lightweight Mode
    From this excellent doc;
    http://www.cisco.com/en/US/products/hw/wireless/ps430/prod_technical_reference09186a00804fc3dc.html
    The following Cisco Aironet access points have the ability to operate as autonomous access points or lightweight access points:
    Cisco Aironet 1240 AG Series Access Points
    Cisco Aironet 1230 AG Series Access Points
    Cisco Aironet 1200 Series Access Points that contain 802.11g (AIR-MP21G-x-K9) and/or second-generation 802.11a radios (AIR-RM21A-x-K9 or AIR-RM22A-x-K9)
    Cisco Aironet 1130 AG Series Access Points
    Cisco Aironet 1100 Series Access Points that contain 802.11g radios (AIR-AP1121G-x-K9)

    Self-Signed Certificate Manual Addition to the Controller for LWAPP-Converted APs
    LWAPP secures the control communication between the AP and the WLC by means of a secure key distribution. The secure key distribution requires already provisioned X.509 digital certificates on both the LAP and the WLC. Factory-installed certificates are referenced with the term "MIC", which is an acronym for Manufacturing Installed Certificate. Aironet APs that shipped before July 18, 2005, do not have MICs. So these APs create an SSC when they are converted to operate in lightweight mode. Controllers are programmed to accept SSCs for the authentication of specific APs.

  • Generate Manufacturing Date

    Which control is responsible to generate Manufacturing Date?

    Hi MMV
    In general order start and order finish dates are determined from your required date ( PIR )  and the GR processing time and In house prod time. (given in material master )
    Production finish and production start are Lead time scheduling and this depends on the floats given in material master.
    This schedulings are done through OPU5 for plan order and OPU3 for production order .
    Work scheduling view is must for prodcution order generation and scheduling.

  • Manufacturing date updation

    Hi,
    We are using Discreete manufacturing in our SAP system. Currently we are implementing SAP one of our foundry unit. They wants to enter the Manufacturing date at the time of Production confirmation screen. In repetetive system, Tcode MFBF, manufacturing date is availble. But we are using CO11N for confirmation. In that Screen, Dates header is availbe. The Start executin date & Finish execution date field is available.
    I want to know, whether i can use this filed for Manufacturing date updation.
    Regards
    R Vaithiyanathan

    Hi ,
    You can bring LOBM_HSDAT characterisitc using BMSM traxn. Assign this Char in Batch class of finished material.
    CO11n( If you have selected auto goods receipt)  or MIGO on production order will update MCH1--> HSDAT field.
    You can pullout from table/ batch master data.
    Hope it helps,
    Jatin

  • MANUFACTURING DATE IN QUALITY CERTIFICATE

    Hello, we are just with sap implemented but i don't know many things yet. The issue is that the quality certificates shows the final date of production as manufacturing date but, what i need is that the certificate shows the initial date of production as the manufaturing date. After, from the manufacturing date i want sap calculate the best before date and to show it in the certificate.
    Could some one help me?
    thanks.
    Jrdz

    Typically this is controlled by your production people.  When the receipt the material they have the ability to enter/change the production date.  The production date is visible in the batch record, (msc3n), and can be changed updated via msc2n.
    In the cert you shouldn't have to worry about figuring out the production date, it should print what has been maintained.  If what is maintained is incorrect then the process should be reviewed to make sure it is correct.

  • SLED /Manufacture date update.

    Hi Gurus
    We have some issue in  SLED . Production  done and batch is upadate with manufacture date and expiry date. later this was stock tranfered to other plant ( Australia) having received a batch in Australia & updated the manufacture date & expiry date correctly,  a quantity of the same sku/batch was, one month later received in India and when they performed the receipt (MIGO transaction) entered  different Manufacture date / expiry date, which has apparently updated the dates on the batch details in the Australian plant.
    Actually, while doing the MIGO this is update manually, so the the batch is tagged to the wrong expiry date.
    Is it possble to control this from manual override, to control the wrong entry.
    Santha

    No.  The receivers need to be trained that if they receive batch from another plant, and it is an SAP batch, they should not update it.  They are provided warnings at the time of receipt that the batch already exists which should clue them in.  In addition, the manufacture date from Australia should have been correct and the expiration date would be correct anyway.  So I would be more concerned about, and inquiring as to how, where and why they got the manufacture date they used instead.  Having a mfg. date, and hence the expiration date of a batch is a very serious issue and violation of most company procedures, not to mention of regulatory and customs agencies.
    I'm sure there is probably a user exit that can used to check the data before saving.  You should check with a purchasing person to check the available user exits for MIGO if you want to go that route.

  • How do I determine manufacture date of Macbook 5,1

    I am trying to upgrade to Mavericks from Snow Leopard, but after downloading, dialog box states that I cannot use my Macbook HD to install and run Mavericks.  The only thing I can figure is that it's somehow related to the manufacture date of this Macbook, but I cannot find the date of this machine, though I presume it's after 2008.  But, I need to be sure.  It's build identifier is 10K549, if that's helpful.  The reason I need to do this is to upgrade my Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom products to their Cloud service.  This is getting pretty frustrating, so any help and/or answers would be greatly appreciated.

    Thank you so much for your promt reply!!!  This is the info I got.  Does anything here preclude me from installing Mavericks?  According to this, it seems that I should be able to install the latest OS X.  As for available hard drive space, I do have 73 gb available from a 250 gb drive.  That should be enough, right?
    Also, I do have 4 gb of RAM, which I thought was the max for this older model.  According to this info, it states that I can upgrade to as much as 8 gb.  Is it worth it?  Or, is it time to just upgrade to a newer machine?  As is, this laptop seems to work perfectly, albeit a bit slow when I process images using Photoshop.  But, I use my iMac with 12 gb RAM to do all my serious processing.  I only need to use the Macbook for limited processing when I travel.

  • Actual manufacture date

    We are currently pulling the Manufactured on date from the creation date of the inspection lot.  That doesn’t match the manufacturing date.  My question is surrounding SAP standard practice.  If this date does not match the actual manufacturing date, what date does SAP recommend?  Should we try pulling from the batch record, since you can maintain a manufacturing date?  I can change the fields in the COA from QALS-ERSTELDAT to MCHA-HSDAT.  I just don’t know if that is the right way to handle it.

    Actual Manufacturing Date should be Production Confirmation Date. Just Check T.Code: MD04 & it may be of some use to meet your requirement. To Check which table-field it is, click F1 on the relevant field, followed by F9, which will gice technical information.
