Nokia n8 mesage outbox HELP

i recently purchased n8 and it is infact was wrking fine nw from yesterday onwards im facing sms sending prob blank msg ezily sent to any rciepient text body mesage always get stuck in outbox and does nt go to the receiver end ... i restored the factory settings deleted all conversation still prob exist .... if i turn off and then turn on i can only send one or two msg only then again same prob operator service nmber correct.... plz help as most of my work is done via sms and im in deep troible plz help thanks

That could be configuration problem. Download all configurations (sms, mms & packet data)  from your provider, if the wizard fails to configure it properly.

    Sounds very odd - maybe ask your provider to guide you through a check process.If you go to messaging and then options then settings maybe this may throw some light if you post up the entries.

  • SMS on Nokia 5300 not working, help

    I have a nokia 5300 and have done smoething to it now it wont send text messages, instead of sending they sit in the outbox and when message details is opened it says message pending, anyone got any ideas on how to stop this? i have gone through all the settings and cant fix it. my wife has a phone with the same network and is able to send messages so it isbnt a busy network. Please help!!!!

    Try to turn off the phone and remove the battery,sim card,and memory card for several minutes.Then it should be fine.

  • URGENT!! Nokia 6300 issue please help

    Hi, Basically I turned my Nokia 6300 off the other night and when I turned it back on it starts up as normal, However when I try to put my security code in and press OK it just freezes and wont let me into my phone. I havent forgotten my security code as I have used this code plenty of times so it must be a phone issue. Ive tried various ways for example: putting in a different sim or trying it without the sim or removing the battery etc but the problems the same!! Please can anyone help??

    It sounds like the OS has become corrupted to me. I've had it happen on a 6233.
    Unfortunately if this is the case there is no way for the user to recover it from this state. If it can't boot then it can't be reset or have it's firmware reloaded by the user. It can't even be backed up.
    Your only option is to take the phone to a nokia care point and they can reload it's firmware. Sadly all of your info, files, programs will be wiped from the phone.

    I request you to kindly re-install the software of your Nokia device. Before re-installing the software kindly take the backup of your device.
    Please follow below mentioned steps to take backup of your phone:
    1. Connect your phone with PC via USB cable.
    2. Select Nokia Suite mode.
    3. Run Nokia Suite Application.
    4. Click on Tools.
    5. Click on Backup.
    6. Click on Next.
    7. Select Content for Backup.
    8. Click on Start to perform Backup Operation.

  • Error installing Nokia Suite! Need help.

    Hello everybody,
    I am trying to install Nokia Suite on my laptop, running on Windows 7 64 bit. I downloaded two different install files from http://www.nokia.nl/support/software/nokia-pc-suite/download . First I selected my phone (N97) and then downloaded that file. The install failed so I tried the fast download, which also failed to install.
    During installation, I'm getting this error:
    Microsoft.VC80.MFC,type="win32",version="8.0.50727.4053",publicKeyToken="1fc8b3b9a1e18e3b",processorArchitecture="amd64".
    I don't know what to do now, can anyone help me find a solution?

    recently bought a nokia n8
    and set it up did the updates etc... all is fine with the phone love the phone its brilliant.
    i downloaded a mp4 to put on my phone a movie it worked fine just the picture wasnt really good so downloaded the same film in again in bluray mp4 and put it on my phone it worked fantastic the picture was spot on just there was no sound there was sound when i played it on laptop but when it was on my phone there wasnt just a red arrow as though it was muted. but cudnt get sound back on, is there anything i can do to get my phone to play hd movies or do i have to do something live get a divx player or something any help please?

    Could it be different (unsupported) audio codec used on the better quality video?
    I am using vlc media player for converting video and/or audio to right format.

  • Nokia N8 - Need your help.

    Bought N8 in Jan 2011 but within hours of using it powers Off than switches On as such reboots. This happens with no specific operation. You move around through the main Menu or key in call nos or write SMS or access web, any operation, its power just shuts Off and again phone restarts. I have purchased N8 in Saudi Arabia so contacted the Nokia Care, Khobar. As per them software was reinstalled and later upgraded but problem persisted. Second time they had it for 20 days to be sent to Jeddah for hardware change(mother board), which was not done but latest version software reloaded. Problem still remains the same.
    Now I am in India having left Saudi Arabia. Here Nokia Care informed that warranty will not apply, so paid for the services where again software updated but all in vain. Now they say the phone to be sent to company and this will cost as much I have spent buying it or I need to sent it back to Saudi Arabia to avail the warranty. I am stuck as I am not going back. Is there a way to avail extended warranty in India to have this fix or how to overcome the power problem. Please guide me.

    Regional warranty terms appear quite inflexible although fortunately the one across the EU region seems quite generous which is of little comfort to you.
    What seems most unfair is that should you still have been resident in Saudi Arabia this fault would have been escalated to a higher level to achieve resolution.

  • My Nokia 5230 blurs, any help?

    My Nokia 5230 has started to blur (there're lines shaking  vertically) when i click the red button or unlock it. This doesn't happen all he time.  I did some search and i found this is a common problem even for 5800. I have updated the firmware to the latest version. Is there any solution other than taking it to the store?

    Why don't bring it to a Nokia care point immediately and get the problem out of this world?
    Edit: What you could do though, if you want to eliminate software failure of any kind is to:
    1: remove the memory card and check how the phone behaves without it.
    2: Remove Sim and see how the phone behaves without it.
    3: do a soft reset. This will wipe your phone memory so make sure you make a backup using ovi suit or nokia pc suite, or the onboard backup client (I suggest backing up to your computer). 
    Now, don't install your backups yet, but wait and see how the device behaves. 
    If the phone is still behaving like you mentioned, you will have to seek help at a Nokia care
    point.
    Note that these moves are likely not to fix such behavior and that it is that last thing you should be doing, but it might be worth a try if you want to try everything before you take it to a Nokia care point. 
    The choice is yours! Good luck mate!

    Dear frnds im using Nokia 5700XM, two days ago suddenly my phone Bt. got prob. it cant send files via Bt but it can recieve all kind of files..... plz help me Help me.

    Firstly check that there are no proxy set-ups in your browser, go in Internet Exploerer to tools, connections, LAN settings and make sure all the tick boxes are deselected.
    Also check your phone has the correct APN, go on the phone to tools, settings, connection, access point in use and set it to the default as per your operator, Usually it is just "internet"
    If all else fails, try install another browser like Firefox or Google Chrome and see if they give you the same issues.

  • NOKIA 5800 WEB BROWSER HELP!

    My web browser on my nokia 5800 does not work anymore. I go onto the web browser and the phone freezes and stops responding until the web browser can shut it self down. I am currently using the opera web browser available on the Ovi Store. I need help to get my web browser working again. Any advise?

    You can discount a virus as a cause of your issues. If it wasn't for the loss of data involved, I would have suggested restoring your 5800XM to "factory settings" and re-formatting memory card, there is obviously corrupt data on your device/memory card.

    The fact that yours doesn't and that the phone isn't recognized when you plug it into your computer leads me to believe that you have a fake. There's a huge number of fake 8800's available on the web, in particular in places such as eBay where most phones on sale are fakes.
