Nokia N8 - old captured videos not showing in gall...

Not holding out much hope on this since I've seen a couple of similar problems elsewhere with no solution.
Anyway after a reset and reinstalling Belle as my c: drive was full, my Gallery now only shows photos and new videos I have taken since the reinstallation.
Old videos appear in the Videos app, but it doesn't put the new ones in here.
As far as I can see, the 'Captured' tag has been lost from my old videos so Gallery is not bothering to show them, thinking they are other videos added via my PC or similar.
So my question is, can I add the 'captured' tag to videos at all? Or is there another solution to this. I tried removing the thumbnail_v4 (or similar named, can't remember it right now) file and let Gallery reload my media, with no difference in results.

iMovie needs iPhoto and other components in iLife bundle to address their respective libraries. if they point to a newer one - iMovie will not find the old material.
So close all
Open iPhoto and select the right library - open
Now open iMovie and let it up-date thumbnails photos
Does it work better now ?

Old emails, in what manner? As in previous to installing the account on this device?
Did you use the Device Switch Wizard found in the BlackBerry Desktop Software?
How did you move your old emails over from the old device to the new?

Import iPhoto Flip video - not showing.

Running iMovie 09. iPhoto '11 (9.1.5). Imported video from Flip into iPhoto. Video not showing in iMovie. Is this a format issue? Is there a workaround?

Make sure that if the Flip came with a disk or software to be installed, that you run the installer. I've got a first gen. Flip mino that requires something called a 'codec' to be installed before the video clips can playback. In my case it's a piece of software from a company called 3ivx.

5dmk3 video capture info not showing in LR4?

Used to have a canon 7d, which created a .thm file that held all the capture data info for the video, but now with the 5dmk3 it seems like the thm file is embedded into the video file, but now in lightroom the capture data does not show up any longer:( very useful for me to see atleast what ISO the video file was shot with.
Any help suggested?
I have tried downloading directly from memory card into lightroom, an also via a card reader, and also via the EOS utility (like canon recommended) but it makes no difference.

Presenter Video Express (APVE) does not use the theme for the PPT output. If you embed the MP4 in a PPT slide using Presenter, then publish it out it will have the theme wrapper around the PPT content, which contains your APVE video.
If you want to customize the theme in the APVE you can do that when editing your video in that tool.

160GB iPod classic video not showing videos on my TV

Need help please...I am connecting my iPod to my TV using the home dock, I can play music but it won't show me the videos...keeps giving the message "TV Out Enabled" please coonect Video Accessory...well everything is connected but I still can't view video

I just encountered the same problem. I bought a new Onkyo receiver / and new IPOD dock a month ago. I had a two year old 60G Video IPOD which worked with it, but since I was running out of space - I made the mistake of upgrading to a new 160G Classic. If I want to use it with my TV, I guess I'll need to buy even more cables or docks from Apple. I read that no dock (not even Apple's) lets you use all the remote control features so it will be a manually controlled wiring kludge.
I've contacted Onkyo, but I note in their manual that the Classic is not covered, so I'm sure they won't be of much help.

Most recently uploaded iphoto videos not showing up in imovie

when i try to use iphoto videos in my imovie project, the most recently uploaded videos do not show up.
this has happened to me before, and i got around the issue by importing the original video files (through finder) into imovie. the clips that weren't showing up eventually did show up, long after i needed them.
so, here i am again, trying to edit recently uploaded clips that aren't showing up. i tried closing iphoto and imovie, then opening them again. no luck. has anyone else had this probleml? why won't the most recently uploaded videos show up for days after they've been uploaded? i could import the files through finder, like i have in the past, but that takes up extra hard drive space, and takes way too long. i was under the impression that the ilife apps are supposed to just work with each other... intuitively and such
everything is up to date. here's my specs:
MacBook Pro - 13-inch, mid 2010
OS X 10.8.2 (12C60)
iPhoto '11 - version 9.4.2 (710.42)
iMovie '11 - version 9.0.8 (1778)

Usually any videos in iPhoto appear in iMovie '09 in the item "iPhoto Videos" at the top of the listing in the iMovie Events browser. Clicking on this item (heading) reveals the video thumbnails to the right of the Events listing. However, I've noticed that my old 3gp videos from an earlier mobile phone don't show up in the Events, whereas some other formats do (for example, avi).
MPEG Streamclip will convert 3gp files to a suitable format for import to iMovie. I'm not sure if it will handle 3g2. In MPEG Streamclip, navigate to your movie and open it, or simply drag it into the workspace. Now export it as a QuickTime movie (.mov) in the format AIC (Apple Intermediate Codec) or H.264. The default settings for these formats should be OK. Both these formats work well with iMovie. I just tested a 3gp movie, exported from MPEG Streamclip as AIC - this worked perfectly with iMovie.
To import in iMovie go to File>Import - Movies, then navigate to your movie.

PS After posting this, I realised that you can also export as AIC or H.264 from QuickTime 7.6.6 (although I do have the pro version - not sure if you need that). In QT go to File>Export and select Movie to QuickTime Movie then choose Options and select the format.

Videos not showing in iMovie for iPad

Hey all
I just downloaded a bunch of videos from my camcorder to my PC... Then proceeded to put those vids on my new iPad. I'm trying to edit tthe videos in iMovie but they are not showing up. I already did the locations services so that is not it. Does anybody know what needs to be done?

Captured video not in Browser

I have been capturing video on my home iMac with no problem. I'm capturing directly into a Lacie d2 quadra 500GB. FNC shows I still have 115 BG available.
But now the title of latest video I captured shows up in the Browser but there's no video. The duration reads 00:00. I know I've "captured" the video because I searched for it and viewed it as a Quicktime file.
I tried to import the video. The title shows up in the Browser but again there's no video. Any solutions?

The camera is connected to the external drive via firewire 400 cable. The hard drive is connected to the iMac via firewire 800 cable.
Since the problem started and I wrote the first note here, I logged off FCE then logged back on.
I just captured video with no problem. Then I continued to capture from the same tape but with a different name and now I again have the same problem. Maybe I should try logging off again?
I use a Mac OS X 10.5.1 and FCE 4.
My QuickTime is version 7.3.1.

Captivate 7 Screen Captures (scrolling) not showing when published in HTML5

I am using Captivate 7 and when I publish in HTML5 my screen captures (of the screen scrolling) do not show -- I get a blank screen for a couple of seconds --, even though they show when I preview for the Web in HTML5. They also show when I play them locally, but not from my server. I was using Internet Explorer 9. This morning I tried 10 & 11 with the same results. It works fine in Chrome and on a Mac with Safari. I do not have my iPad with me today, but I tried it this weekend and had the same problem, though I just updated my OS, so I will try again. If it does not work well on an iPad then I might as well output as FLASH. I will try my iPad again tonight and report back tomorrow. Thanks.

Some videos not showing up on AppleTV from iMac's iTunes library

Having a strange problem. Not sure if it is an iTunes problem or an AppleTV problem but I will try here first.
I have several videos in my library, some of which are digitized home videos I edited/rendered, others are AppleTV converted DVD's I own. For some reason, many of them are not showing up on my AppleTV when I go into "Computers" off the main menu and select my iMac with the iTunes library of them. Some show up, but more and more do not. They are all properly formatted and done so using Compressor settings for AppleTV. No idea why some are not showing up.
If you look on the iMac with the library on it, they all show up fine. And if I try and play the video on my iMac but tell it to use AirPlay to play the video on the AppleTV, it plays just fine on the TV/AppleTV. I do have Home Sharing turned on for ALL my media and I also use iTunes Match service.
When I try and use my iPad to access videos under the "shared" option and select my iMac's iTunes library, I get the same incomplete list. So I am thinking it's the iTunes library that's sending out an incomplete list for some reason. No idea why.
I have tried drag-and-dropping the videos into the iTunes library as well as using the "Add to library" menu command, neither makes a difference.
Any suggestions?

Also - i had a similar issue - lots of movies in itunes - not showing up as selectable on apple tv - i found that you have to go to "list" in itunes and select any movies i wanted to be selectable when i switched to the apple tv device - can someone please create a word for - "my software changes and somehow i'm an idiot for not knowing what magic the programmers are throwing down" - this too will change in the future - just need the happy customer service types to maintain a voice with the programmers and bottom line guys and gals.

When I plug in my ipod old podcasts do not show up, how do I fix this?

I have updated my itunes. I have reset my ipod. However, when I connect my ipod to my computer old podcasts (even ones that have not been listened to) do not show up. I added these podcasts to my ipod before installing the new itunes. I have over 20 podcasts that do not show up on itunes for me to remove so I am wasting space. If anyone has advice please let me know.

ICloud videos not showing on iPad

On my iPad, I can't see all of the TV shows in my cloud (app:Videos). It looks like I can only see the ones that were downloaded on a devise, not the ones downloaded via iTunes on my PC. I've checked the iPad's settings under iTunes & App Store for Show All Videos, and iTunes Match and they are green. I've also checked under Videos and Show All Videos is green there too. The kicker: my iPhone is showing all of my clouded TV Shows... Is there a setting I'm missing on my iPad?

Doesn't sound like you missed anything. Assuming your iPad is signed into the Apple ID used to purchase the TV shows they should appear as iTunes in the Cloud videos on your iPad. You might try toggling Off, then back On under Show All in Settings>iTunes & App Store to see if that would do any good. You also could try force closing the videos app (double-tap the home button, locate Videos in the list, swipe up on the image above the app icon to close it, tap the home button again).
