Nokia N8 : Retrieve deleted pictures or files

Hi...
i was trying make a new album in photo's menu so i can keep all my fav in one folder.
i copied pics from ALL to ALBUM's new folder and then deleted the same pics in ALL folder but automatically all the pics in new folder got deleted.
normally in all nokia phones this method works without any prob.
how will i get deleted pics back to my folder.?.

As a guide for the future, if you want to remove a photos from a particular album, find it in the album concerned, press and hold the image then select Remove from album, do not select Delete. The delete option is always acting on the original copy of the image and removes it from the device altogether.
Albums in Symbian phones are not folders, they are databases. This allows the possibility for photos to be included ion more than one album without having multiple copies of the same file occupying space in the device memory. For example, if you create an album called "Family" and add all photos of your family to it, you are not actually moving the images to a different folder, merely telling the album database that these photos should be shown when you select the family album. It is possible that you have another album called "Holiday 2011" which also contains some of the same images of your family members, but you only ever have one copy of the actual file stored on your phone.
You cannot remove images from the "All photos" view, this feature will always display all compatible image files wherever they are stored in the phone (all folders of the phone memory, mass memory and memory card) - it too is just calling image data from a database.

So you want to move the iPhoto Library?
Make sure the drive is formatted Mac OS Extended (Journaled)
    1. Quit iPhoto
    2. Copy the iPhoto Library from your Pictures Folder to the External Disk.
    3. Hold down the option (or alt) key while launching iPhoto. From the resulting menu select 'Choose Library' and navigate to the new location. From that point on this will be the default location of your library.
    4. Test the library and when you're sure all is well, trash the one on your internal HD to free up space.

I would contact the support team for Supernote if they are not saved in your iTunes account.

  • How can i retrieve deleted pictures on imac

I was trying to transfer all my images to my external USB drive, and I forgot to eject the USB drive and I deleted the pictures and I guess the photos deleted from the USB drive also. what can I do to bring those pictures back? they are important pictures. I need something that is free of use. i've been seeing links to use but you have to pay to restore those lost pictures. HELP!!!

    Restore from backup
If you have no backup, then you need restore software such as File Salvage. You can use the demo copy to find out what it can recover for you. If it will recover enough then you have to pay for it so that it can recover the files.

  • How to retrieve deleted Siebel Attachment files

    Friends,
An end-user of my Siebel ERM Application has accidentally deleted some of the file attachments under a record .
Is there any possibility of retrieving it ?
I believe that even if you delete attachment files from the GUI , the .SAF files will still not get deleted from the siebel file system directory in the servers.
I only have the deleted attachments' names (Attachment Title) with me now , as it was present in the Audit Trail .
Is there any chance if we can get back the row id of these deleted files and thereby retrieve the file's contents from the SAF files ?
    thks in advance .
    Regards,
    Hari

Luckily I have never been in a scenraio like yours.
But according to the theory it is correct that SAF files will stay in the Siebel FS, even when the record is deleted.
From the top of my head the names of the SAF file consist of the Siebel Table name, ROW_ID and REVISION_NUM (and .SAF).
What you could try to do is to locate the files that don't have a corresponding record in the Siebel Table.
Keep REVISION_NUM out of the filter.
But so far I don't think you can find them with just the attachment title.

Pictures taken on my iphone 5s were accidentally deleted.  I did a reset and an ISO update but was unable to find the pictures.  Many previous pictures were recovered but not the ones I wanted.  I used a free trial of Dr. Fone for my 5s and the pictures were not there.  I used the free trial (Dr. Fone) on my ipod and the pictures are there.  My ipod has not been upgraded or reset.  So how do I recover these pictures that are only showing up through Dr. Fone on my ipod that were taken on my iphone 5s?

    WINDOWS?
Connect the iPod to your PC. If iTunes starts syncing (ie erasing) your music automatically, hit the X in the upper right hand corner of iTunes display, to the left of the search box, to stop it.
In Control Panel, Portable Media Devices, double-click your iPod.
In the Tools menu -> Options, in the View Tab, check "Show hidden files and folders."
Navigate to the Music folder. On my 'pod, the full path is
Portable Media Devices\NAME of IPOD (F:)\iPod_Control\Music
Select all the music folders, and drag and drop them into a folder on your hard drive, or directly into iTunes.
And you're done! The iPod music folder structure is strange and inexplicable, but once you move your files into iTunes you can set it to automatically organize your folder by artist and album to clean that up. (To do this, in iTunes Edit menu, choose Preferences and in the Advanced tab, check "Keep iTunes Music Folder organized."
might be out of date worth a try

Is it possible to retrieve deleted files from the cloud i.e. contacts?

If you have an iCloud backup of an iOS device that was made while the contacts were still on it, you may be able to restore them from the backup by following this user tip from Winston Churchill: https://discussions.apple.com/docs/DOC-4841.

  • How can I make extra storage on my phone when I have deleted any all data, pictures and files that I couldn't store in a dropbox and not have purchase additional storage?

how can I make extra storage on my phone when I have deleted any all data, pictures and files that I couldn't store in a dropbox and not have purchase additional storage?

Purchasing additional storage only applies to iCloud, not to the phone itself. You cannot purchase additional storage for the phone, only purchase a larger capacity phone. If you have deleted all of the content that you can, then that is all of the space that you have. What is it exactly that you are trying to do? Does this have to do with space for performing an OTA update of the iOS?
