  • Nokia N80: video help plz

    Hello there,
I'm in somewhat of a rut with my N80.
The videos that I transfer from my pc to my Nokia don't work properly. I get an error from Realplayer, then the sound will begin to play; no picture.
The videos were all converted from avi. to mp4., so I'm not sure how the problem could be incompatible format.
I did transfer and successfully use a video a while back. It was in mp4., also.
I simply can't figure out what the issue might be. Any help would be much appreciated.

  • Nokia 6131 video not in sync with sound

After a year of working just fine, my Nokia 6131 video picture is not in sync with the sound when I play it back on the phone or when I download it to my pc to view.
At first the problem was only when I played it back on the phone, but was fine on the pc. Now it's distorted on both.
The video picture seems to be on fast forward but the sound runs smoothly. My video's are always less than five mins long.
Please can anyone help me to resolve this frustrating problem?

hey KatieGirl, i too had the same problem with my old nokia 6288. have you tried turning off your phone and restarting it, this usually helps in alleviating choppy video playback. if this is still resulting in **bleep** playback on your phone and pc, then i would suggest searching for a software update via Nokia Software Updater, if there is no update, then i would suggest re-flashing your phone with the same version firmware again. p.s. remember to backup all your data before flashing your phone with firmware.
failing all this, then i would suggest taking your phone to your nearest Nokia Care Centre or authorised service repair centre, as there may be a fault with your phone hardware itself.
    hope this helps.

  • Nokia n80 video = bad

Nokia n80 video is perfect in "light conditions" but its dull conditiosn its just really really really terrible with llots of little flashing dots everywhere.
anybody else have this problem? and will it be resolved?

Have you checked you have the right video settings for the environment you are in? N80 camera is probably more advanced than other Nokia camera phones you have used and making sure you are recording in the right conditions is important.

  • Nokia E50 video playback

I have converted video files from flv to 3gp and saved it on my E50 using PC Suite. When I play the clip with Real Player version S60.30.20.01 A, I can hear the sound but no clip. Could anyone please advise on what could be the solution to this? Some other 3gp videos are working alright. Thank you very much in advance.

    Nokia E50 video resolution: 240 x 320
I ever met the same question with you, and my bro fixed it up with something called video file converter. It is simple, This video file converter is already optimized for output setting for mobile phone, so just  encode ur FLV files to 3GP format again and there will be normal.

  • Download Video Helper For Safari

I'm looking for a similar download video helper that Firefox offers for free, for Safari. Any help is greatly appreciated.

There is the Free  iTube Grabber which can capture almost any audio and/or video stream (it says here) but only works with Intel Macs.
    http://itube-grabber.en.softonic.com/mac
There is also iTubeX which allows you to download videos (Flash, HTML5 and others), .mp3 and .swf files from almost every website as easily as possible:
    http://www.macupdate.com/info.php/id/27604/itubex
Lastly: How to download Flash videos and play them in Quicktime using Perian is explained here:
    http://perian.org/#watch
It's the video at the bottom of the page.
Last but not least (as some of the above may not work with Snow Leopard or Lion) there is the 'pwn trick':
For example, the full youtube site for your movie is:
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bC2XIGMI ... e=youtu.be
As soon as the movie starts, pause it and add 'pwn' in front of the youtube part of the url so it looks like this:
    http://www.pwnyoutube.com/watch?v=bC2XI ... e=youtu.be
Hit Return and then follow the instructions.

  • Nokia 3300 video playing double-speed?!! help!!

    Hello
A couple of days ago i recorded a few videos at a concert on my nokia 3300. When i open them to watch them they play in double-time (really fast) but the audio is normal. It's never happened before and i really want to fix it so it plays in normal speed.
    Can anyone help?!!!

Does it play at double speed with no sound when you watch it on the phone or on a computer ?
If it is on the phone, try switching the phone off and on again to see if that helps.
If it is on a computer you might need to get newer codecs for your media player.
Knowledge should be your Advisor when you need help.

  • Please Help - Nokia 6500c Video converting

Hi, could you please help me - what is the best way to upload video? I just bought the phone, which is great, but Nokia's software is really slow and the Suite hangs up almost every time. If I convert a .avi with it, only audio remains. What programs do you use for video conversion and what selections seem to give the best quality? Thanks!
    6500c, 6030

This feature is not available on the phone. However, you can achieve this by downloading applications from the Nokia Store or from another third party website.
Reminder: For third party applications, security and compatibility with the phone is not guaranteed.

  • Nokia 5200 - Videos from PC to Phone... help!

I want to get some videos from my PC to my phone's card, and be able to play them.
I tried just dragging the videos I wanted straight to the file, but that did not work when I tried to play them back. =(
As for the Nokia PC Suite, when I asked it to convert the files, it only converted about 2 seconds of it.
How can I rectify this and copy the whole file to my phone aand be able to play it back? is this even possible?
    Many thanks,

  • Nokia n96 video problems.Need help please

how do i go about putting videos on through pc suite but everytime i try, it starts converting and stops quatre way there.
i tryed using another media converter all together now don't know what format or resolution the videos have to be converted to in order to work on my phone. the videos i have been trying to convert are .avi format.
does anyone have any advice that can help me?

PC suite is the wrong tool for this job as it's not very good at handling large files.
A great source of information on how to make videos compatible with the N96 is available on this blog:
    http://portablevideo.blogspot.com/
Look through the archives on there and you will find a very good guide on what programs to use and the required settings.
If your avi files are divx or xvid you may want to install the programs below to see if you can play them without conversion. The program on the first link is free, the second is not but a demo may be available.

  • Nokia E7-00 Help Needed

Problem 1: I got a Nokia E7-00 from a friend a week ago. The day I got it, I filled it with lots and lots of applications including games. Now, often it gives an error: "Memory Full: Close some applications and try again". I read the following on another support website:
In order to free memory, you could also remove or move the following:
Messages from Inbox, Drafts and Sent folders in Messaging.
Retrieved e-mail messages from the phone memory.
Saved Web pages. Clear the web browser cache to free some memory (select Options > Clear privacy data > Cache).
Saved images, videos, or sound files.
    Contact information.
    Calendar notes.
    Downloaded application packages.
If there are applications which are not needed any more, uninstall them (select Menu > Settings > Data mgr. > App.mgr. > Installed apps.).
Any other data that you no longer need
I have done this but still not working. On another website I read about deleting files from C:/resources/help but these files cannot be deleted.
Please guide me to solve this problem.
Problem 2: Wifi not working. I have a Wifi connection in my room and in my high school. Wifi was working fine until yesterday. Now, it searches for the connection but says connection unavailable. I am using the same wifi on my laptop, and Nokia 5630XM and its working fine on them. Please help me with this problem
Problem 3: It is not actually a problem but more of a query. When will Symbian Belle be available for Nokia E7?
Keenly waiting for the answers. Thank you

I will suggest you a quick and easy fix for you mate.
    1. Back up you important stuff on the nokia suite
    2. Hard reset , wipe everything off your nokia e7
    3. Run it a few days without any third party apps and see how it goes.
    4. Symbian belle is available now, you should check with your latest nokia suite. If its not then maybe your country is not ready for the update.

  • Nokia 6220 classic help

anybody know how to get the bluetooth working properly any software going about or not thanks

    Hi zzan
    Please see comments below

Hi everyone, i recently purchased Nokia 6220 classic and i have some questions.
    1. MicroSD Card
I want a good microSD card(large, fast n stable). Whats the best for 6220c?
According to gsmarena 6220c only supports upto 8G microSD but according to Sandisk website 6220c can support 16G microSDHC. (?)
Can 6220c support microSDHC card with (2 in circle) and (4 in circle) rating? and which one is better?
The 8gb is the one to go for, asputting the 16gb card may make the phone run slow as the processor may not be able to cope
    2. Phone Lock
I can't find this option anywhere. I want the phone to ask the phone unlock pin(~4 digits) when i first turn on the phone.
If you go into the phone settings, then security, you have various ways of locking the phone either by locking the sim card or the phone.
    3. Video Recording.
Screen goes very dark during video recording sometimes, would new firmware fix this? i have Software version: 03.23, Software version date: 27-Jun-2008.
Also is it possible to disable the red light during video recording?
Not sure about the first part, but you cannot disable the lamp it is to let people know they are being recorded I think
    4. GPS, i'm on prepaid, is it possible to get free GPS service? if not which prepaid network would be cheapest for using GPS?
Nokia maps is very good, so long as you download the mapping download software first from Ovi.com to load them to the phone. It only costs about £50.00 (not sure) for the voice prompts as well.
    Thanks in advance.
