Hi, I just want to ask who knows where to get this widget found on the Nokia C7.
I don't want any other 3rd party widgets. Thanks!

anyone know of a good weather widget for the Nokia E6?
I tried the accuweather one and I cant get it to show up in the widgets catalog.
Anyone have a working weather widget on their Nokia E6?

You can try MeteoNews from Ovi Store (free, but it doesn't update automatically, you have to tap on the widget everytime).
Or download the working AccuWeather which I've attached.

Nokia Weather Widget for E6

I tried installing the Nokia Weather Widget on my E6 but for some unknown reason, I cant open it when installed. I am currently using the AccuWeather Shortcut but I prefer to see the weather updated on the screen rather than to have to open the app everytime I want to know the weather. Any suggestions?

Sorry rancebobo, I was talking at cross purposes - thinking of the app in Maps Suite 2.0. Perhaps Nokia is abandoning the E6. It's no longer listed on the Danish website and none of the Belle improvement out so far seem to have become available for it.
I bought an E6 because my E72 had lagged way behind, and hey presto! IMHO the E6 has already been hobbled.
I'll certainly buy a new Nokia if it does what I want, but when I pay good money for a phone I don't expect it to run out of steam before Midsummer of the year I bought it.

On the subject of good weather forecasts/reports, I use YR.NO - which also has English menus so don'y get put off by the Norwegian. It's not an app as such, but in my experience it's accurate both in Scandinavia and the UK.

I updated my E6 from anna to belle and was shocked to note that the belle doesnot come with Weather widget???
can somebody help me where can i find them and install.

If you install Accuweather from the Nokia store, it will allow you to add it as a widget to the homescreen.

No weather widget anymore

Since a few minutes ago, I have no longer the default weather widget on my dashboard.

In the weather application and widget (Nokia Belle) my city name displays inncorrect. instead Yerevan it shows Eerevan. Please correct this. Thank you.

Nokia Belle Weather App Uninstall?

Hi there,
I have Nokia 700 with Belle FP2 installed and according to the Battery Monitor, the Weather Application that comes by default with this version of Belle is eating a lot of my battery in the background. I do NOT use the weather widget and I have wi-fi and mobile data connection turned off most of the time. I also erased all cities from the Weather App, yet still it seems to work in the background and it is responsible for about 50 % of my phone energy consumption. It is impossible to turn it of (I guess it starts any time I turn my phone on), and it is impossible to uninstall it. I do not use it, I do not want it - is there any way how to get rid of it?

My weather widget keeps saying "weather offline" when im on wifi or have full service?

on my iphone 4 in the notification centre, my weather widget says "weather offline" sometimes, most of the time is shows the weather, but sometimes it is offline even when im on wifi or have full service. its so annoying. how can i fix this?

I'm seeing it too, and I know of no fix. So it's not just you. And, I'm in the US so it's not a problem in your country only.
I have found no pattern as to why I get "Weather Offline" but other times it's updated just fine.
Sometimes the Weather app refuses to update the local weather, other times it gets updated. I assume the issues are related. All the other weather locations I create in the app are updated, so I know it's not the weather server that's the problem. It's just the local weather in the app and notification center (or centre!)
Guess it's another iOS 5 bug. Let's hope it gets fixed in the next release.

My weather widget is set to California, and I am on the east coast. Way to reset it?

For some reason, my weather widget (the slide down screen) is set to Cupertino, California. Problem: I'm in Washington, D.C and there isn't a real reason for it to be in California....
I updated my phone, so it is the most up to date.
My locations services is on, and it is set to D.C, so is there any way to fix this problem?

Sure, bring up the weather widget and select it. Select "i" at the bottom right corner and turn Local Weather ON

Weather widget not working after upgrade to Snow Leopard (Australian areas)

The weather widget is not working since I upgraded to Snow Leopard.
The feed seems to have changed from Accuraweather or something like that to Yahoo!Weather, and Yahoo!Weather seems to have problems (at least concerning weather data feeds from places in Australia).
I live in Kempsey, New South Wales (Australia). I can't input that address, because it won't validate. When I try typing my address in the widget autocompletes with "Kempsey, Austral Eden, New South Wales (Australia)" (FYI, Austral Eden is a rural parish near Kempsey, but Austral Eden is not in Kempsey and Kempsey is not in Austral Eden). That address will validate, but there seems to be no weather feed: ie. I don't get any information displayed in the widget.
The nearest address that will validate correctly is "Port Macquarie, New South Wales (Australia)". The Yahoo!Weather feed doesn't provide any information about that, either.
I can get a weather data feed for Canberra. But Canberra is 800 kilometres from here.
I think I want to change back to AccuraWeather. How would I do that?

I was planning on buying my father the Snow Leopard upgrade for Christmas, but there is no way he'll want it without a working Port Macquarie weather widget. ( I'm not kidding! )

Updated to 10.4.9 and now weather widget doesn't work-what to do?

Just updated to 10.4.9 tonight and for the first time since I bought this computer in August, the weather widget doesn't work.
Would anyone happen to know what I could do to get this to work. I am connected to the internet, I can access the accuweather.com that I think this widget connects to, I restarted and reset PRAM (not even sure if that has anything to do with it).
I just don't even know where to go from here to troubleshoot. Any suggestions would be appreciated... Thanks.

Just for the record... There is quite a bit of discussion about widgets. I only use the dictionary and iStat. I use WeatherPop in the taskbar, which resides in the taskbar...
It did it again this morning. I let it boot all the way, and then I went into system preferences to find the resolution that the display was using. It was 1400x1050. But there was a second display preferences window open. Basically... The computer was "mirroring" to a second non-existent monitor. I ran through the "detect displays" and it got rid of the second setting.
I've never had a second monitor hooked to the machine, and I've never messed with the display settings, other than to change wallpaper. I'm not sure how or why it turned on, but I think it's off now... Weird that it only did it every now and then.

My yahoo weather widget in notification shows as offline. What needs to be done to get it back online?

Is your Settings > Location Services > Weather ON?
From my previous post, don't use the Notification Center but the Weather app directly to switch Local Weather to ON. (See above post)

Weather widget text moved UP

I noticed recently but only really investigated today. The text on my weather widget has all moved up about 5-10 pixels from where it should be. The temperature listing is now sticking about 5 pixels outside and above the background. It looks like the same font and I haven't gotten rid of any fonts lately. I don't know if this is related to 10.4.5 but I noticed it around the time of the upgrade. Any ideas for troubleshooting? Very strange issue.

Yes i have logged out, restarted, refreshed the widget. It's not just the weather widget now. I see that the address book widget is different, my iCal calendar widget has its text moved up, and goodness knows which others. I orignally asked this question on another forum and others reported having the same problems. I wonder if copying the widget from a computer not experiencing this would make a difference. It's really just the text.
You know how when the weather widget is loading the temperature has the - - where the numbers are about to appear... those are in the correct position. As soon as the numbers and other text loads it's significantly higher than those - - would suggest.
