  • Nokia n80 video = bad

Nokia n80 video is perfect in "light conditions" but its dull conditiosn its just really really really terrible with llots of little flashing dots everywhere.
anybody else have this problem? and will it be resolved?

Have you checked you have the right video settings for the environment you are in? N80 camera is probably more advanced than other Nokia camera phones you have used and making sure you are recording in the right conditions is important.

  • Nokia N80 video format?

    Hi
I have tried downloading some videos to my Nokia N80 which have been recoded to MP4 format using Nero 7 recode.
When I try to play the videos I get the message "Unable to play media clip"
Is there a limit to the size of video the N80 can handle as the clip is 31848 KB in size or am I doing something else wrong?
    Your help would be appreciated.

  • Nokia N80: video help plz

    Hello there,
I'm in somewhat of a rut with my N80.
The videos that I transfer from my pc to my Nokia don't work properly. I get an error from Realplayer, then the sound will begin to play; no picture.
The videos were all converted from avi. to mp4., so I'm not sure how the problem could be incompatible format.
I did transfer and successfully use a video a while back. It was in mp4., also.
I simply can't figure out what the issue might be. Any help would be much appreciated.

    Download the OVI Suite from..
    http://europe.nokia.com/support/download-software/nokia-ovi-suite/compatibility-and-download
.. and install on your PC...
Connect your Nokia E66 .. select the Envelope Icon in the OVI Suite and select Sync...
When the process is over all the messages will be seen in the OVI Suite window...
    Now connect Nokia 6730c..
In the middle window of the OVI Suite you will see 2 tabs ( 1. View Messages arranged by Date and 2.  View messages grouped by contacts).. Make sure that you select the first..
Drag-and-Drop all messages with Downward Arrow Icon into INBOX in the bottom window ( where you see the Phone icon) and all the Messages with Upward arrow into SENT folders respectively..
    Hope this solves your problem..

  • To view video clips on Nokia 6030 cellphone

I have tried to download different formats of video clips through my cable for Nokia 6030.  However, everytime I tried to view the video clip, it prompts formats not supported.
Cud anyone suggest the formats that will enable me to view video clips on my Nokia 6030.
    Thanks

Adobe Flash Player Software is actually a plug-in and not an actual "player" or "application."  With this plug-in you will be able to view flash videos on Quicktime (with help from Perian) and VLC.  I believe Flip4Mac also.
After the installation, make sure you repair permissions and restart your computer prior to usage.

  • How can i rewind Or forward video clip in Nokia 62...

How can i rewind Or forward video clip in Nokia 6230i. plz help me out. thanx in advance.
    Haris

    Hello.
Fast forwarding and rewinding video on the 6230i is not possible as far as I remember with experience with several Series 40 phones. The proprietary Nokia OS runs a multimedia player incapable of doing this feature. I also have never heard of a certain compatible Java-based media player application which can do this. Maybe the architecture of Series 40 does not support advanced software features allowing this. However if you really want to watch using your phone, you cannot be able to fast forward or rewind.
    Cheers.
PS:I am not really sure about this though; just a quick opinion. How about some ideas from other 6230i users?
The world might be a better place if you were I.

Generally. However SW upgrade on N82 allows to keep user data. Where your videos were stored? MM card?

  • Sending video clips to my phone, how?

    Can anybody help me?
i want to know how i can send video clips from my pc to my nokia n80 via usb cable.
Nokia pc suite doesnt seem to support this and i am confused as to what to do?

    This is the iPhone discussions.
Export this movie as a Windows Media Player file - Export: Movie to Windows Media which will also add the .wmv extension to the exported file.

  • Why would my video clips be running too fast when played on the monitor panel?

I posted my problem earlier today, but re-reading it maybe I didn't explain myself well enough.
My main question is: "why would my video clips be running too fast when played on the monitor panel ?".  This is occuring after I have selected my media from the Tasks Panel and placed them in correct order in the Timeline/Sceneline.  I knew something was wrong when I could see that the clips were not indicating their right length when viewed in the (expanded) timeline.  They were compressed into just a few seconds, whereas the clips should have been at least 5 minutes.  I ran the clips in the monitor and sure enough they ran too fast, with a lot of jerking movements.
The 3 video clips I am trying to make into a HD PAL video were taken with my Nokia N8 mobile video camera. These are in mp4 format. Can this present a problem ?  Note that when I play these individual HD clips on my computer in (Windows Media Player) they run fine.
After I placed the clips in my Project Panel (or before in the Organize Workspace), I have perforned no change or manipulation of the clips.  They are in their original state.
Just too confirm that the clips did seem to be compressed, I burnt a DVD, the resultant video ran in a matter of seconds.
    Help would be greatly appreciated.

Yes, that is what the problem was.
Although the video camera on my Nokia N8, mobile was capturing at 25fps,
for some reason once transfered over to PrE9 (via file transfer), the clip was interpreted as 500fps.  Once in Interpret Footage I was able to change the fps to 25.
    Thanks for the help.

It is not possible, however, there are other measures that can possibly prolong your battery. You may watch this informative video courtesy of Nokia Support Videos - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PLa4ZJX_lAs

The Nokia 3720 classic is a IP54 level water,
Not even close to good enough, LCD screen will crack, water will go in through the jack/charger ports..
The phone i describe has no external ports just 4-5 little pins which can't let water in or out of the device, the docking station will connect via these 4 - 5 pins for data transfer and recharging...., IPX8 standard, all the electronics are epxoyed with a glue to stop real bad shocks from drops and bangs, along with a silicon case and all the other preventative meausres means this little phone is going to outlive you.
in combination with heart rate external bluetooth connection, really what more could you want... only the Sonim comes close in terms of perfection but if it managed to pack all of above, then it would be simply wow... I don't think there's enough people who work for nokia who actually go camping, backpacking, hiking, i'm pretty sure that if i told them one day
on a holiday you might drop your phone into the swimming pool, ok fine it's a mistake but damn, there goes your $$$$ N7 or N900 or even a HTC or Iphone.... not this, you'd yell to the first person you see in the pool, hey mate can i have my phone back, don't worry about the water damage, i'll get it back on insurance after a small lie stopping the person from running off with it (in fear of the now useless mobile phoned killed by water, making an attempt to steal be useless)
The person gets their phone back and carries on about his day, it drops out of your pocket, how many times you ran over it because you happened to leave it behind the back tire. oh no i ran over my phone, the tough casing and the epoxy keeping it nice and safe, except for superficial damage cosmetic, the screen and phone should be working still able to make that call or send out GPS info....
Sorry nothing comes close by any company (except Sonim) in terms of what they can do... maybe even a portable charger turn it to recharge like on LED dynamos. nah maybe not.

  • Problem playing some .wmv video clips in my C7..

    Hello dear friends;
I just bought my new Nokia C7 mobile, everything is fantastic, i like this delightful device.. it has great many new features..  but i couldn't play some .wmv video clips.
I'm just wondering if there is a good media player need to install in mobile for playing this kind of format video clips.
    thanks..

I don't know if CorePlayer has released a version for the C7 but this worked very good.
Another option is to connect the phone to PC and use Windows Media Center or WMP11 or later to SYNC the video to the C7 this should convert the video before tranferring and may solve the problem.
Otherwise you may need to convert the video from WMV to MPEG-4 or other format that's supported by the C7.
640K Should be enough for everybody
