Nokia n82 great phone...when it works!

i love my nokia n82. I purchased it second hand in june. I upgraded the firmware a few weeks after. After around 2 months of ownership, after switching between sim cards a few times, it would restart every few minutes. The interval became shorter between reboots and it would occasionally freeze, forcing me to take out the battery et al. I tried hard resets (* 3 and call button) would work for a day and then resume the problem. Did research and tried taking out the memory card. That worked but was really annoying as i would have to walk around with my memory card in my pocket in order to access files. Eventually the phone started to restart, freeze and glitch without the memory card in. Reinstalled firmware, worked with memory card for a few hours but then went back to same problems. I have formatted my memory card several times. Both using a pc and phone. Funny thing is, even with a formatted from pc card, when i tried to format it with phone, it would say memory card in use by application format anyway? Despite having nothing on the card. Just wondering if thats normal. I doubt i'm under warranty. My nokia device is made in china and the text on the inside is spanish. Any help would be appreciated. Sending it to china would be a seriously costly option and i can't afford to be without a phone. Help! Thanx in advance

could all this be the work of a virus? Or would the hard reset clear up that? I think this all started after a friend of mine was trying to fix a virus plagued hard drive via usb on my machine. I guess there was some form of infection passed on as my operating system had to be reinstalled with a non genuine version me xp. I was previously using xp 64 bit version. Anyways i'm not too sure, but i think the problems started after i transferred files using the non genuine os. The reason i'm asking is because everytime i format the memory card on the phone, even if formatted on pc, it says its in use by another program. Also i connected it via usb yesterday and attempted to use data transfer mode and it would repeatedly say that the memory card is in-accessible as it is in use by another program. Is there and antivirus or something that i could use to identify and remove any possible threats? I would also like an app that could be used to monitor all the running apps on the phone. p, as the drivers gets installed, it fails to install the driver for "NOKIA N8-00 Phone Parent". Please help

Nokia N95 8GB phone Screen not working

I have a Nokia N95 8GB phone, it was dropped while catching a bus, from then the screen is not working, but the phone works fine.

Nokia N82 lags behind when navigating.

My n82 is slow.It connects up alright, but when I navigate the arrow is like 50mtrs slower than when I'm driving.So for eg: I would pass a street, then check my phone and it will show me way behind. I've got sygic mcguider installed, nokia maps and garmin xt mobile ( plus google maps which I don't use because you need an internet connection) and they're all the same.I'm running the latest firmware.Anyone else having this problem?

But seriously, you said the situation only happens when you have been on a long call, so maybe the iPhone is just autolockng?

Phone buttons not work when charging

I have Nokia Lumia 900..   When I hook the phone to the charger, the phone is disabled... you can't push up the wallpaper to use the phone buttons on the start screen. If you disconnect it from the charger, it works fine. I have done a hard phone reset and it has been updated to the lastest update available for the phone. The hard reset did not help... . Some one here said that it should not be doing that... it should be working on or off the charger. I talked to AT&T who is my phone provider and they say that this is normal... that while it is on the charger, it is disabled.
   So, Nokia, is this normal or is this a defect??? If I need to use the phone, I have to disconnect from the charger, use the phone and then plug back in. I don't like phone being disabled...  Nokia, if this is not supposed to happen, I will need something to show AT&T in order to get phone replaced ... or is there a place I can take phone to in order to get replaced or fixed where I do not have to leave the phone.. I need my phone..
   ALSO, something I do NOT like about the phone and am more convinced that I need to change to a different phone when my year with this phone is up... I do NOT like that you can't save info from your phone onto the Sim Card.. this is crazy... Why would you make a phone you can't back up your info onto a Sim card... I may not always be at a computer... This should be fixed... You should be able to move information from the phone to the sim card and move the sim card to the phone... I know you can move stuff to the phone from the sim card, but I want the function of moving to the sim card also.
      But right now.. I need to know if this phone being disabled when on the charger is a defect or is it supposed to do that...

I haven't tried different locations.. I will try that next time I need to charge the phone. I usually plug into electricity because it charges faster than connecting to pc. I bought a second data cable for charging the phone and most of the time, I use it when charging. If I charge at night, I use the one that came with the phone and hook to electricity... I keep one cable in bedroom and one in living room near computer ... and most of the time, am charging in living room... The only time I hook to computer is when I need to do phone update or if I want to transfer a pic to the phone for wallpaper or to attach to person's number ... Or I have added ringtone.    I will try the other cable and will try when connected to pc.   I do know that the cable I use to charge it in living room doesnt work to do update on phone.. I had to use the original cable to do the update the other day.   If this orginal cable goes bad (which we all know happens) how do I get another original cable that will do my updates with? the second cable I bought was supposed to be for Nokia lumia 900...

Nothing.... What you use on your computer has no relevance to the iPad. The iPad does not have internet Explorer. It uses Safari a compeltely different browser.
If that still works then keep using it.
Though if you really want to use Google Chrome on your iPad you can find it in the App Store.

I was using the latest version of Nokia Software Updater today to update my Nokia N82 phone.
Everything run smoothly at first, until suddenly at the mist of installation, the Nokia Software Updater pop up a message that the software encounter an error and have to restart.
I have restart the software, but my problem now is, my phone is dead due to the interruption of update, I can't turn on my phone at all, and it give no response when I want to connect it again with Nokia Software Updater or PC Suite.
Seriously this thing is giving me trouble. What should I do? Thanks in advance.

i know, it was not new.. so it could have been on an other cell provider i am not sure if it was so at the moment that is all i can do

Its a long time since the question appeared, but in case anybody is interested here is a hint.
You should assign an instrument to your channel 1 first.
synth.setProgram(1, -1, 65); // Channel 1 gets Soprano Sax.
