Nokia N85 8GB - changing or adding new language

I bought my Nokia N95 8GB phone from Rogers in Canada where I live. However I have parents in Poland to whom I am sending a lot od text messages. English language doesn't have polish characters so I would like to install polish language on this phone. My parents are quite old and they have a problem sometimes to read my text. Does anyone know how to do it?
My present software is: V11.2.001 (seems quite low/old)
software for Euro3 is : V31.0.015

You cannot change the product code of your phone - at least not using software and methods that can be discussed here (their use will invalidate your warranty).
What you can do is read this (substituting "no longer available" for "not available" ):

Kumar VThis is what you need to do:
1. From Oracle Applications Manager, go to License Manager and activate or change your base language to a new one.
2. From AD Administration, run Maintain Multi-lingual Tables (AD Administration Main Menu > Maintain Applications Database Entities Menu).
3. Run the Translation Synchronization Patch utility (adgennls.pl). .
4. When you are notified that it is available, apply your Translation Synchronization Patch (TSP) for all languages you requested.
5. Install the Release 12 NLS Help, if available (optional).

We have the perfect tool for you (or anyone) to add any new language to Microsoft Translator: it's call the Hub.
However, be aware that this requires a lot of data to reach a quality bar such that people would find it useful. It is machine learning based so data is the critical part.
Languages like Hmong, Welsh and others to come were developed by the community using the hub.

How to change/add a new language in my BB 8800

Ok, I have tried everything...
I found some information about this but I have not been able to install spanish in mmy BB.
Currently only language installed is ENGLISH, and I need to change it to SPANISH.. I have latest BB desktop manager bu tdo not see any option in application loader to add a new language pack.
I really appreciate any help ASAP.

ResolutionTo view the language packs installed on a BlackBerry smartphone, on the BlackBerry smartphone Home screen, click Opt ions > Advanced Options > Applications.
To install a language pack select and download the latest BlackBerry Device Software for your BlackBerry smartphone model from your wireless carrier from the list located here: Wireless Carrier List.
BlackBerry Desktop Manager is required for this process and it can also be downloaded from the link above by selecting your wireless carrier. The latest version of BlackBerry Desktop Manager is recommended.
Download and install the latest BlackBerry Device Software for your BlackBerry smartphone model.
Open BlackBerry Desktop Manager.
Select Application Loader.
Under Add/Remove applications, click Start.
From the list, select your Input Language.
Click Next, and then Finish.

It works for me when I tap and hold my finger over the day seeing the month or week, when the phone is turned sideways. Maybe you should keep the finger a little longer on the screen to hold.

Im using Cisco AS5350 IOS version 12.2(13)T. From sh call language voice summary, i saw only sp, ch and en. Is there any ways to add new language to it?

Do I need to install Font files after adding new languages to EBS

Hi All,
I added Spanish and Portuguese languages to my 12.1.3 EBS (Enterprise Linux 5). As per post steps of MOS doc 788053.1, I just wanted to confirm whether I need to execute the step to install font files or not:
I need to do if one of below conditions is true in my case:
1) Multiple languages from different native character sets are active
2) The operating system of the node that contains the Web server is not configured with the required language support for the active languages
What does point 1 exactly mean ? and how to confirm point 2 ?

Just because an interface can run that resolution...... remember, it's mainly used as a selling point.
Consider the final target... CD? 44.1kHz/16 bit, DVD 96kHz/24bit All of the compressed formats (mp3..etc.) lower than CD quality.
Plus.... you would have to have a pristine listening room, very high end monitors and amplification to hear a difference, even if you could. Most people fail blindfold tests and can't tell the difference between 44.1/24-bit and 96 or 192. More important is the bit rate, use 24-bit at 44.1 or 48kHz and you will save on resources and file size. A 192kHz audio file uses 4 times the bandwidth of a 44.1 file, add to that, effects and VI become enormous bandwidth hogs at that resolution.
Three or four audio tracks, a couple of Space Designers, Sculpture and an ES2 at 192kHz can bring the fastest Mac Pro to it's knees.

IP address constantly changes requiring adding new port to enable wireless printing

I have a HP Photosmart C7280 printer setup with wireless option. My home network uses a wireless Linksys router. My problem is that the IP address constantly changes, so when trying to print from the desktop in the other room, I have to go through many steps: go to the printer, view the network settings, go back to the desktop in the other room, and add a new port in the printer properties in order to enable printing. There is now quite a collection of different ports that appear in the list as this seems to happen everytime I need to print from that computer. I don't seem to have the same issue with the main desktop which is located near the printer even though it was setup with the same wireless option.
I am not an expert on networking, so I don't understand why the IP address constantly changes. My question is how to avoid this annoyance? Do I need to choose a different setup option? The computers on the home network do not all use the same operating system so I was trying to avoid the potential headache of trying to share the printer on the network.

I am looking for a phone app that I can use the camera to take a picture of a celebrity in a magazine and if I dont know who it is a website can tell me. Its is useful in a pub quiz.

I don't think there is such an application yet. Nokia has a beta application that recognises specific movie posters or packages, but it's limited to those posters/packages that are in its database. Face recognition isn't something that's widely available.

Problem with publishing catalog in another language
The 'locale' parameter determines in which language the catalog content (for example product descriptions, category descriptions) is displayed.
In addition to 'locale', you need to define the parameter 'SAP-LANGUAGE' in your call structure, e.g.:
40 SAP-LANGUAGE SY-LANGU SAP Field
This parameter determines in which language the catalog user interface (for example buttons and field labels) is displayed. Defining this parameter as the SAP Field "SY-LANGU" (system variable) allows you to pass the logon language of the user to CSE. So, you don't have to create multiple call structures with Fixed Value's for 'SAP-LANGUAGE'.
For the 'locale' parameter, I don't think you can define the language as SAP Field "SY-LANGU" (even though that would be nice :). However, you can still avoid creating multiple call structures with this parameter fixed, by implementing dynamic 'locale' determination in the BAdI BBP_CAT_CALL_ENRICH (e.g., if the user's logon language = "E", then 'locale' = "EN", if the user's logon language = "F", then 'locale' = "FR", etc.). If you do the BAdI determination, you don't need to include this parameter in the call structure.

Sorry to say that i didnt get a word that you said.
I assume you have upgraded to windows 7 and are unable to use or install nokia pc suite.
First of all it aint nokia's fault that windows 7 came after they had uploaded the setup.
All you need to do is download the pc suite to you computer or laptop or whatever it is ... then right click on the setup and click compatibility mode nd just keep pressing next next next.
Im sure your pc suite will be installed then and you will be able to use your computer to transfer everything to and from the phone..
Have fun and lemme know if it worked.

Adding new locale and language support

is it possible to add a non supported language to OIM Administration Console?
The ideia is to copy one of the existing locale files and change their names, for example:
we copied this two files xlRichClient_es.properties and xlWebAdmin_es.properties and renamed them to:
xlWebAdmin_es_AR.properties and xlRichClient_es_AR.properties (Argentinian Spanish)
then, at the xlDefaultAdmin.properties file, we just added this new locale: global.locales.es_AR=es|AR.
Once this new locale is recognized, we can now edit the files text to...whatever..
I'm not sure if I'm making myself clear enough, but...does anyone know if this is possible?! It seems so, though...

ok...it is basically like I said...
If anyone needs to add a new language to OIM Administration Console, you just have to find your xlWebApp folder and at ...\xlWebApp\WEB-INF\classes you'll find the files that I was talking about. A pair for each language...(these files are within xlWebApp.war file, they just might have been extracted).
In my case, OIM is only available in Brazilian Portuguese...and I needed to add European Portuguese (the mother language =D).
So, you just need to copy the files xlWebAdmin_whatever.properties and xlRichClient_whatever.properties and rename them to the language you want OIM to automatically recognize (beware of the language code you need!).
Again, in my case, I copied these two files xlWebAdmin_pt_BR.properties and xlRichClient_pt_BR.properties and renamed them to xlWebAdmin_pt.properties and xlRichClient_pt.properties...and voilá, now I just need to edit the content of these files to make the "translation" or whatever changes I may need.
