Nokia N9 Won't Install Apps

I tried to install Toshl earlier today and the app would not install. After several attempts I tried installing other apps (both Store and community). Neither worked. Nor did updating existing applications, in fact, it corrupted them.
Apps will appear on the homescreen but with the "exclamation error icon".
The last thing I did, prior to failed app installs, was add a community repository and install x11vnc. I have performed both a reset and wipe of the device. I still cannot install apps. I cannot even access Terminal in order to remove repo.

Presumably you have also posted over at http://forum.meego.com concerning this issue, although I hope Nokia/Ovi Store delivered application in armel.deb form for MeeGo not as .sis for S^3 devices.

Please try to connect your device to a PC via USB and download the applications onto your device using Nokia Suite.
If this should fail please try and install Store QML and try download your apps again.

Brand New Samsung s4 Won't Install Apps

My Samsung S4 (brand new last night) won't install any apps. I click install, and it highlights like it's going to, but then it does nothing.

That's odd mmchenry, let's get to the bottom of this. Are you trying this on 4G LTE or wi-fi? Launch your Play Store, select the Menu icon on the top left>Settings>Is the option to require a password enabled? If so, disable it. You can also try Settings>Application Manager>Playstore>Stop. Let me know if this works.

My Smart watch 2 won't install apps even it is paired with my Android phone

Previously, I use Sony SW2 with Samsung Note 2, there was no problem.
But, when I change my phone to Xiaomi's Mi3, firstly the phone won't recognize SW2.
After a few days, the phone could find SW2 and pair with it magically (probably through hardware update?)
But I still cannot install apps on the SW2, except for the Runtastic app. (I can change the phone's wallpaper and watch face from my phone with no problem."
I suspect it could be due to some incompatibiliy between SW2 and Mi3, which could be due to either party's configuration or update.
Is there anything that I can do on the SW2 side? Help, please!

Unfortunately if is due to compatible issue, we can't do anything about it. Unless there is furture update that the developer of the product make it compatible with both device to work properly.

HT4847 Won't install apps but I have 5.0GB free on the cloud, how do I fix this?

I'm trying to install new apps but it says I don't have enough storage space available. I turned on the cloud and it says I have 5GB. How can I resolve this?

Apps have to be stored in your device, not in iCloud, so that's the reason why your device says that you don't have enough space. Simply remove some applications, or files in Settings > General > Usage, in order to get more free space.
iCloud storage is used to make backups of your device and to store settings of your iCloud-compatible apps, but you can't install apps there

IPad 2 won't install apps after ios 5 update

Try restarting your iPad or resetting it and see if that helps. Restart first.
Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button.
Reset the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons.

New iPad 2 won't install apps and movies

I purchased a new iPad 2 yesterday, and it won't sync 2/3 of the apps that I previously downloaded for my iPhone, even though they are compatible with the iPad and display in my iTunes list. I continue to receive the following message, "The app "xxxx" was not installed on the iPad because the app could not be found." I get the same exact message when I try to sync the iPad with my movies. Why can't the iPad sync the apps/movies, but the iPhone can?
I've tried shutting down and restarting iTunes multiple times. I even restored the iPad. What else can I do?

thanks for posting. Was reading through this post and I believe that this could be a bad download in which I'd like you to set your machine back to factory reset, endure to download all available updates from windows through the control panel. If your machine updated the updates and then rebbots your machine keep on trying to check for windows update again from the control panel until the system "No available update". Once that's done, update all software from the Windows store. Once the soft wares are all updates only then proceed to update to Win 8.1.

Adobe air Won't install apps; won't even install

I tried installing the new seesmic desktop app and kept claiming the package was damaged, so I used perfect uninstaller to uninstall adobe air and tried a reinstall, it now says I need admin rights which is odd because I'm logged into an admin account.

Try this:
Make sure everything is closed on you computer. Before trying to reinstall turn on Hidden Files and Folders. Go to C:\Documents and Settings\USERNAME\Application Data\Adobe\ and delete the AIR folder. Then clear your Temp files from C:\Documents and Settings\USERNAME\Local Settings\Temp. Empty your trash can. Try reinstall.

TS1702 my iPod touch won't install apps

Curve 9360 won't install apps! Just automatically reboots after 'installing' and hasn't done it..

Blackberry Curve 9360. New device received yesterday after water damage to my old one. I upgraded to the latest OS and AppWorld yesterday and everything has worked absolutely perfect. Except every time I try and install or upgrade an app it reaches the end of the installation bar then reboots itself and when I look after the reboot I find the upgrade or app hasn't been installed. It does this with every app I try and install. I've tried working on just Wi-Fi or Network and it makes no difference. Can anyone help? has anyone had this before? Incredibly frustrating considering I've just got a new one back!!!

To determine if this a operating system issue, I suggest following all the steps in this KB article: www.blackberry.com/btsc/KB11320
Then test out BlackBerry App World™ afterwards to see if the issue is resolved.

App store won't install apps on macbook after yosemite upgrade

I cannot install or upgrade any apps from the app store since upgrading to OS-X Yosemite. The button greys out when I click install and nothing happens until I navigate to another tab and back to the item I'm trying to install - the button is enabled again. It doesn't matter how many times I click it, the behavior is the same.

Try resetting the App Store and Clearing Cookies.

I never like to hear our customers are having issues with their new devices. Let's get to the bottom of this. Did you remove and reinsert the Sim card? If not, please try that. Does the browser work? Have you successfully added a Gmail account on the device?

Nokia 5800 won't update apps or download apps

I just got this phone yesterday and i want to do the 3 app updates (adobe flashlite 3.1, mail exchange 2.9 and nokia messaging 10.0) that it has on the list in the application folder.
but when i press start update it tries to do them but then says 3 updates failed
also i cant get the ovi store on my phone or download anything
what should i do to fix it?

Well since its brand new I expect nothing would be the problem is we put the phone through formatting and firmware reinstallation. Some guy at factory must have been half asleep.
On your phone, just dial *#7370# and lock code (by default its 12345). After which, connect to PC to Ovi Suite and update software, then perform the format again. This should ensure that the system is as squeaky clean as possible.
This isnt necessarily the solution, but its sort of the "nuke it" final straw option which in this case I doubt if its a problem on a brand new mostly still empy phone.

As you can see that in the first chapter it is said that the Nokia TV application should be available for download.
"Now, we are pleased to announce that the application is a freely available for download from Windows Marketplace for Nokia Lumia 800 and 710 phones."
