Nokia N93i Themes

Hi
I have upload one nokia n93i theme on my wap portal. Its a .sis file.
When I download it from wap it gives error that "Installation of Terminator.sis is not supported". But when I download the same content from my computer to phone via infrared it works fine.
Please can anyone help me with this.

you need to uninstall via the app manager - tools/app manager, then the name of your theme....

Nokia n93i considering buying and need help from o...

i currently have a sharp gx10 and battery life is terrible- i get about 3 days with no calls or camera usage and thats it.
the nokia website advertises a standby time of 9 days plus for the nokia n93i which i like the look of. however reading elsewhere in the forums someone claims that they get 1.5days before recharching and since a firmware update 3 days before charging. this is putting me off. i am wondering if he uses his phone all the time for music and the like or could i expect to get only 3 days battery life before recharging even though i would hardly be using the phone.
can anyone who owns one of these phones enlighten me further?? look forward to hearing from someone

well i recently got a n93i and what they say about the battery is true. it's really bad, espically when there so much to do on the phone you just can't put it down. if i play with it all day at work it'll die around 5 hrs but if i leave it alone and just listen to music and check emails and pick up phone calls *like yesterday* i had more then 70ish %.
as for the firmware update i'm still using ver 10.0.0.25 beacuse the nokia software updater shows that the newest ver when everywhere i read ppl can upgrade to ver 11.XX.XXX
must be Vista =(

Mr gasket-i can't turn off my nokia n93i

I just bought my nokia n93i and I am having trouble switching
on my unit...Iany idea with this?

What kind of problems do you have?
Have you pressed the on/off button on the top of the hinge
for a few seconds (first turning off the keylock)
Have you tried to remove the battery to find out if the
problem persist?

Nokia n93i camera problems :(

hi, i recently bought a nokia n93i (about 3 days ago) and its pretty cool especially the camera, but lateley i cant use it. when i swithch to picture/video mode the screen goes black and white trips looking like a codebar (example) ( and i cant do anithing. if someone had this problem and solved it please tell me, i dont wanna go yet to the service. ps: i cant use the camera even with photorite or other camera software

Try doing the following :
1) Reset the phone to factory default by keying *#7370# after backing up data
2) Upgrade the firmware to 20.0.084 using Nokia software updater.Ensure the battery is fully charged

NOkia N93i Firmware problem

Hi guys,
I am trying to update the firmware on my Nokia N93i, i have dowloaded the software update from the Nokia website and begin the installation, i follow the insructions on the screen, when the installation of the new software for the phone begins the progress bar does not seem to move, i then get a pop up from the nokia pc suite saying the phone has been disconnected from the pc and then i get told that the procedure has failed and to remove the battery from the phone and replace it and turn back on to try again.
No matter how many times i do this i get the same result,
Any ideas how i can stop this and get the firmware updated?

I am having the same problem as you are... and i have used the software updater before and it worked... i think that there is a little problem with this new version...

Nokia 6080 Themes

I am considering getting a Nokia 6080 within the next few days. I have been looking around the internet for some cool themes and I have stumbled upon some really cool ones.
Problem is that these themes are filed under Series 40 3rd Edition themes...The 6080 is a 2nd edition phone according to Nokia.com but on the website with all the themes it says it is 3rd edition.

The signal bars on the 6080 are different from the ones shown in the previews for the themes.
To make things more complicated, I found a pic of the 6080 with the horizontal signal bars (barely visible in this pic)

Can somebody tell me if the themes on the website will work on the Nokia 6080?

Not sure about the Nokia one, but there is a very simple theme creator available online at Zedge (free registration required); I managed to produce reasonably looking themes for my 6300 using it, although it only provides limited color selection for texts and no possibility to change icons.

User Guide options
Warning: This erases all the personal content in the phone, including apps that have been purchased and downloaded (may be re-downloaded again), and restores the factory settings.
Option 1: About menu

Dead Nokia N93i After Try Flashing

well, the question is simple... sience NSU dont offer anymore software update for the N93i i try by myself to flash the phone with a better firmware version.... everything works ok , but after flashing has finished, my phone wont start... i mean, i press the power button, the green light comes up ( like it has electricity into it ) but the phone wont start, and the green power light turns off ....
but when it says press power on button ( for installing the drivers ) i get an error from my pc, it says something that like the driver failed to install...
i use a CA-53 cable... i also have a DKU-5 cable...
how could i revive it by myself and not getting him to Nokia Shop ??

I am afraid.. but you tried some method that voids the Warranty and can not be discussed on this Forum..Your only way out is to visit Nokia Care and ask them if they can help you out from this mess...

Nokia E5 theme effects??

hey everyone, I was want to know that does the Nokia e5 have the same theme effects for all themes?
Because whichever theme i set the theme effect is the same, that is when i move cursor on an icon theres a slight bounce and when I open an app theres a round loading clock with colorful bars. Is it the same for everyone else?? because i suspect that the theme effect is different for each theme and its not change from theme to theme in my phone. Theres a theme called colors by mmo available for free on ovi store, i turned on theme effects for the first time after installing it and i think the theme effects of that theme are stuck on my phone and won't change

I created few themes from Theme studio 3.0 for Nokia N91 series60 3rd edition. It was correctly installed. When i get into themes and preview it, it previews. And then when i click Apply, it sets the theme. Then when i click exit and go to the main screen, the theme changes to default theme. This happens for all the theme apart from the one which came with the phone.
What could be the reason for this.

Nokia 6080 Theme Problem

Hey guys, ive got a nokia 6080 and am having a problem with the theme. When I first used the phone there was no theme selected by default and when browsing through the menu system there was subsequently no graphic or picture behind the menu. I obviously started playing with the phone and selected a theme from the 2 that were already on it. But now I dont want the theme anymore as ive set a different default wallpaper anyway. Here lies the problem. I cannot seem to find a way of unselecting a theme. I have to have one of the two that were on there. So now I have set my wallpaper, I still have other settings from the theme like the image behind the menu when im navigating through it. Is there a way to remove or unselect the theme in use? or am I now forced to use one of the themes that was on the phone at the time of purchase?

Sorry, but is it lawful for you here to show any link to a "blank" theme? i've deleted the Nokia theme by mistake and the only one i do have now - is City. And i don't like it very much. And i read somewhere here in other threads that nobody can share here with Nokia theme as it is copyrighted.

Nokia 6280 Theme & Profile (PICK ONE ONLY)

I bought the phone for less than couple months, and I always found that the ringtone change back to default one. Definitely, not the one I saved within the profile. Nokia TRIED to fix mentioned problem twice for me (reinstall the firmware and change the mother board), but problem still exist.
Finally, I found out the root cause. Once you change the Theme, all changed setting within Profile will all set back to default. When I talked with the Customer Support hotline, she told me this is the design. Wonder if you can accept this as a "DESIGN" or "SOFTWARE BUG"?
If this is really a "DESIGN", can I say that Nokia design the phone which user can only change profile setting without applying any default Theme. Or if user always want to apply new theme, better not changing any setting within the profile.

but wait a minute, my sister's phone is 3230, and she doesnt face this problem at all... she adjusts both the profiles & the themes and each one doesnt affect the work of the other at all... what can you call that ?! Mobile halucinations !!!!!
