Nokia N95 Hangs while using SIP

Hi
I have Nokia N95 with v 20, I am facing hang problem every time when i use SIP/VOIP application to call or receive call after 15 to 20 minutes mostly phone hangs and need to remove the battery and on it again....
any body have any solution for this hang issue...? please advice

Go into your control panel, System > Hardware > Devices, look for the USB (Universal Serial Bus Controllers)
[+]USB
Generic USB hub
Bleah
Bleah
Simply right mouse click on all of them select "uninstall" once they've all been removed, restart your machine, windows will re detect all your USB devices, and hopefully this time windows will install either a newer or older version, different version of drivers.
Then re-install..... there's not a lot else you can try.

You should give more information when posting as to make it clear what it is you are after, and this is also in the wrong section. This should be in the N-Series board.
If you are asking for help, then you may consider using the Nokia Software Updater, as upgrading software can often cure hanging phones.
You can find this at the
Nokia Software Update page.
Be careful to backup your info first though, as this may erase your personal data.

What buttons did you try? IF you haven't already, try a reset, no data loss.
Hold down the home/sleep button together until you see the Apple logo and then release, then wait for the phone to boot back up.

Nokia n95 crashes while upgrading the software

When I was trying to install new software using nsu to my nokia n95. I noticed that the phone goes off and the nokia logo appeared (the light is off).
In a minute, the PC I was using told me that the phone has been disconnected. So, it asks me to turn the phone off, remove and replace the battery and turn the phone on again.
It happens again and again, about 4 times. The last time I tried that again, the phone won't turn back on.
It just has the nokia logo and nothing else happened. I tried the hard reset (green button things) but it still didn't work.
So, please help me.

Who can solve iSync problem with Nokia N95? (I use the Nokia plug already)

Since I bought my new cool Mac:, I sync my N95 with iSync and the Nokia N95 plug-in. Thinking at first that is works flawlessly (as other members here seem to think as well) I later found out, that if I make changes to any calendar or "to do" description! on either the N95 or the Mac it syncs, but only up until a certain number of characters. If I exceed this number, the description on the phone will simply be cut off - in the iCal it still fully appears though.
Rather surprising, since when syncing with a PC via the Nokia PC suite there is no such an issue. All my often lengthy descriptions are fully put on the phone. And if I sync back there are no problems either. So I guess it has to do with the iSync protocol or this Nokia N95 iSync plug-in? Any ideas, solutions...? Any help greatly appreciated!

The flex cable is damaged. Some years back when I had a Nokia N95 8GB the flex cable was damaged and for a few days the screen was showing strange colours at the display and eventually the screen became black. I went to a local repair shop and I replaced the flex cable and what I noticed was that the flex cable that it had no proximity sensor on it so I told the technician to remove the proximity sensor on the original one and replace it with the new flex cable. Another thing I discovered was that after fitting the flex cable and returning the cover the front camera was not in its usual position so the technician had to do some modifications to get it back to its normal position and after a few months it was damaged and this time I went to Nokia Care Centre and replaced the flex cable for a small fee and what I noticed was that the flex cable that I previously bought was a fake cable. The one bought from Nokia Care Centre had its proximity sensor and when the cover was returned the camera was in its exact position the same as it was with the original flex cable. What I wanted to say is that please beware of fake flex cables on the market and I suggest that you buy it from an authorised Nokia Dealer.

Upload other maps to Nokia N95 for GPS use

As you all know (I hope you do) Nokia maps does not supply maps for Bolivia, yes, I live in a big, but small country in the heart of South America.
Yesterday, a Garmin local representative offered me a copy (legal copy) of Bolivian maps ($20 per city).
Does anybody knows what format should I ask, and how to upload the maps, if possible, in order to use them with my N95 GPS Maps App???

If u want the map for Maps software in installed in ur N95
then it is useless because the only way to upload a map to ur mobile is by using Nokia Map Loader software.
try to get TomTom or route66 .

Presumably you are referring to FOTA feature for which ironically it seems that more S60 3rd edition devices (Non-Feature Pack 1) were supported and actually used this feature than the actual FP1 devices themselves. Think of the N80, N80IE and N73, all supporting and even frequently updating via FOTA.
Nokia then seemed to be making a new attempt at using FOTA by releasing the FOTA-only software version 11.043 for the FP2-based N78 and of course now for N96.

Nokia N95 not updating using the Nokia Software Up...

Hi guys
just got my n95 today, it has v10 fw on it and i would like to update it to v12.
ive downloaded and installed latest pc suite and downloaded the latest nokia update software
i run the updater and it says found new software (v12), please tick the box to acknowledge etc etc
so i click on ok, and it says updating....
then 2 mins later i get this screen:

Which says "phone recovery - please remove battery and restart the phone"
so i got to take battery out and retry, but i get the same error. not too sure what to do now? the fw it downloaded was 113mb.
i have tried it on vista pc/laptop and a xp pro pc and still get the same error.
ive tried using different usb ports, connected the usb directly to pc (without any hubs etc) and still get the same error.
it looks like this n95 doesn't want to be updated. The n95 still works though, i just want to update its software
anyone had any thing similar? is there anything else i could try?
any help is much appreciated

Handsets that allow for updating, have a small piece of software within them often called the boot loader, that allows the new upgraded software to be flashed into the device.
If the Boot Loader is damaged, then the upgrade of the device software from the Nokia Software updater cannot be performed.
A Nokia care point is able to rectify this because they can use the service connector on the handset to reflash the software with their equipment.
This will be done for free if your handset is in warranty.

TV screen sometimes hangs while using apple tv

When I project the computer screen on the TV screen using the apple tv, the picture is not moving smoothly and sometimes hangs the TV screen.

Does it just look darker all the time or does the brightness change over time?
If it just looks darker, check Settings>Video and if set to RGB Low try RGB High or YCrCb.
I was watching a digital copy of final Harry Potter last night that came bundled with the Blu Ray - could not believe how dark the film was - I used to routinely use RGB Low on AppleTV1, and such settings options have only just appeared on AppleTV2. I could see hardly any shadow detail on RGB Low, much improved on RGB High.

Adobe PDF viewer in MFC Hangs while using in Child Dialog

Hi,
I am using Adobe PDF viewer ActiveX control in one of my application made in MFC. The PDF viewer Loads PDF and Work well when i place it in a Parent Dialog. But, If i use it in Dialog that is embedded as a Child dialog to another dialog, it just hangs the entire application if i try to scroll up/down the viewer or click any print/zoom etc options that comes with Adobe PDF viewer.
Could any body help me on this, It already cost me a day to get a solution.

I did forget to mention that I am now trying this under Windows 2000 Professional SP4 and VB6 SP5.
Also I made a mistake in my previous post, I have Reader 7 on my pc, not 9.
Adobe Acrobat Browser Control type Library 1.0 (AcroPDF.dll) can only be added to the project as a reference,
not as a component. Project - Component does not list this. I tried selecting Project - Components - Browse.
I then browsed to folder where I placed the AcroPDF.dll (C:\WINNT\system32). It was not listed in the default list since this lists
only ocx files. I selected to show all files and the dll was then listed.
If I selected this I received a message
The file 'C:\WINNT\system32\AcroPDF.dll' was not registerable as an ActiveX component.
Adding Adobe Acrobat Browser Control type Library 1.0 as a reference did not show anything in the toolbox.
There was no red logo in the toolbox items.
I definitely selected the General list and there was no sign of any Adobe or Acrobat item
I then tried right click on toolbox, selected Components and Adobe Acrobat Browser Control type Library 1.0
was not there.

Hi guys, I've got this problem with my n96. When I try to use Nokia maps or Google maps, it restarts automatically. Last month I updated the firmware to 30.033. It was working fine before update, I had no problem with nokia and google maps, but after that update to firmware it randomly restarts. Any help would be highly appreciated.

The problem of phones restarting following a firmware update can usually be resolved by resetting the phone.
Always remember to backup your phone before performing resets as your data may be lost.
First try this,
*#7370# - Reformat your phone
If it doesn't work then try this.
Then try the "3 finger deep reset". With the phone powered off, depress and hold these three keys simultaneously "*" "3" "green phone" and then power on phone using the on/off button whilst keeping all four keys depressed until you hear start-up tone.
This should ONLY be done if the device doesn't power up normally anymore and it wipes everything in the Phone memory that is not part of the ROM.

Z10 Rebooting Frequently after it hangs while using app or in between call

Can any one help In Last two months, My blackberry Z10 screen fadded, then trun to black and vanishes and then starts rebooting multiple times before come to the normal state, this continues for 1 month , after that it is unable to start and continue to reboot uptill blackberry name and keeps on rebooting, i have tried all the solution even given the phone to the blackberry service centre, they have worked it for 3-4 days , return back by saying it is now fine, but after 2-3 days same situation continues, the issue is yet to be resolved.i now remove the battery and charge battery directly with the help of a charger then the works for sometime even for a day or two but the problem still persists. i have searched all the topics , they are having similar issue but non of them has any concreat solution.

Launch the Console application in any of the following ways:

Flash Player hangs when using Firefox FLash player version 11.4

my flashplayer hangs while using firefox or ie browser, I am using latest 11.4 version of flashplayer similar issues were occuring in 11.3 as well I am on windows vista, what should i do. I see several processes of flashplayer in the task manager when it hangs.
Please help
