Nokia N95 How to print sms?

I am using Nokia N95 (not the Nokia N95 8g)  My Sms (messages) are stored at the memory card.  How do I print the messages?

Messages are not stored on the SIM card, but in the phone memory.
Unfortunately, the 3310 is a very old model that pre-dates PC-Connectivity so there isn't a method to copy the messages and install them to a newer model.

  • Nokia N95: how do I stop it going landscape? + Cra...

My Nokia N95 will somehow just flip to landscape view.
I can't figure out how to get it back?
    Can someone let me know!
    Thanks.
ALSO: when I am speaking to someone on the phone... the other persons sound is crackly.
It's really getting on my nerves.
Does anyone else have this problem?
Or should I contact Nokia for a problem fix?
ALSO: when I'm speaking to someone... how do I put up or down their sound?
When speaking to someone... I've tried clicking on every button: but none of them do anything.
With most other phones. you can adjust the sound up or down while on a call.
    Am I missing something?
    Thanks.
    OM

donno about the crackly thing but u should be able to adjust the volume with the skinny little up down button on the side of the phone, when you're on a call
also sometimes my phone slides down in my pocket a little bit (revealing the music buttons) and it flips it into landscape, if i just push the screen up and down again it corrects it
    hope this helps!

  • How to Print SMS from N80 & N70?

    Hi all,
I am looking a way to print my SMS from my phones which are the new Nseries.
Also how can i save my SMS messeges from my phone to my PC?
    Thank You.

You can get LifeBlog for the mobile and PC, which will let you archive SMS/MMS/Images/Movies and more.
That's the best way I've found of saving them all on the Nseries. It stores them in date/time order - so you can read them in order, which is nice as you don't have to look for a message you've sent, then spend ages searching elsewhere for the reply lol.
Also - a nice little feature - you can set it to delete all items / selected types once they've been transferred...
e.g. I've set mine to delete all SMS/MMS after transfer, but leave the images on the phone.
As for the printing, The N70 has an InfoPrint, so you can print directly via Bluetooth/Cable to a compatible printer.

  • How to print sms from folders

Hi , I have an N95 and need to print my sms messages that I sent to a folder on my phone , I have no bluetooth printer and do not seem to be able to open the folder when I attach my phone to my pc through the Nokia suite ....I thought I might be able to blue toth to my pc but cant ....HELp !!!!
    Chedd

pc suite only reads sms's from phone that are in
    inbox
    sent items
    drafts
the folders you have made yourself are not (unfortunately) supported via PC Suite/messages.
So move the sms back to inbox or drafts if possbile than then try again

    Anbody out there?
    Thanks.
Thats not possible.. BTW, why do you want to do that ?
If you want to keep a copy ( back-up) or transfer it to some other Nokia device, you can do it thru' Nokia Suite .
Install the Suite on PC and connect the phone to PC. Open the Suite-->Messaging and then select 'Sync' at the bottom next to the Phone Icon. All messages from the phone will be now visible in the Nokia Suite ( when you select 'Conversations' at the top). Now, disconnect the phone and connect another  phone which is COMPATIBLE to the Nokia Suite.. Select Inbox at the top..Select all messages and Drag and Drop them to Inbox flder next to the Phone icon..Similarly copy messages from other folders and place them in appropriate folder at the bottom ...

  • Nokia N95 Call/SMS barring

How can I block calls and SMS from a certain number on my Nokia N95?

There isn't a program like that but see these:
    This program blocks unwanted calls.
    This program blocks unwanted texts.
You may be able to find cheaper or free alternatives by searching google.

  • How to print out SMS & MMS?

    Hi
I’m having around many SMS & MMS (Total around 100) in my phon. It’s a conversation between me and my teacher. I want to print them out or convert them to Microsoft word so I can manage them. How can I do that with my Nokia E90 (communicator).
    Thanks in advance

Sorry.. but... I'm trying to figure out how to print the messages that are saved on Nokia Ovi - in the conversation form.. without having to copy & paste 1363 messages. I need the messages printed out and I'm not prepared to do 'copy & paste' into word ... one thousand three hundred and sixty three times. There has to be an easier way and to be perfectly honest.. seems really really wierd that a very major option in the majority of software ever written, programmed or designed, is NOT available from 'Nokia Ovi'... I have done searches and can't find any answers on this.. and although other people have asked the same question... the answers they were given really didn't answer the question... What's up with that? Do you have a 'simple' solution.. not one that involves going the Nokia PC Suite because the messages were not backed up using Nokia pc suite. I also cannot dump the messages from the phone to Nokia pc suite because I dropped the phone in the pool... so I am relying on the last back up I made of the messages thru nokia ovi, to be able to retrieve the details... etc etc..
Please make this easy for me... I will praise you forever.. if you can... or else i'll go 'postal'.. i'm kidding.

Check the manual for these settings.
Open Menu-> office-> printers-> options-> add-> driver-> HP mobile, bearer-> socket, accesspoint-> your AP, host-> IP of printer, port-> 9100, printer model-> photo smart printers. Make sure that antivirus and firewall accept the connection.

  • How do i print sms messages from my iphone without a 3rd party app?

How do I print a complete SMS message from my iphone without using a 3rd party app?

If you have an AirPrint compatible printer, or you have a print app, then you could take a screenshot of each page of the message and then print them. Otherwise, there is no native solution to print SMS messages on the iPhone.

  • I like to know how to User a Nokia N95 8GB, as GPS...

    Hiya Everyone,
I had download a great app called KISMAC Trunk for MAC OS X 10.5, within the app it has a GPS map, but i cannot work out how, by using my Nokia N95 8GB phone, as a GPS receiver, i can see that the N95 is getting singles from the satellites, but i would like to know if there is or is not, away for the GPS data to be able to be used by KISMAC software?
I have tried loads of thing, but i cannot get the Phone and the MAC to used the GPS data
Please can anyone shed any light how i could get a fix from my problem?
    Thanks
    Flouts

    and i can report success with [ http://www.symarctic.com/beta/static.php?page=extgps_download ]
i haven't used it in a while now, but if i recall correctly i used this app on my N95-1, and something like gpsX on my Powerbook to receive the gps data.
at the time i found these apps by searching for info on using my N95 as a GPS for google earth.  i'd bet searching for info re: google earth will turn up more results than searching for info re: kismac (one is a bit more socially acceptable than the other).
    goodluck,

    N95-1 ---> N97-NAM ---> N900 ---> E7-00 + N900 (I use them both)
(N95 was pretty good, N97 had potential but utterly failed to deliver, N900 is absurdly good. Those of you wondering, "should I try N900/Maemo/MeeGo"? The answer is a resounding YES)

  • Nokia N95 8GB backed up - how to I get the contact...

My Nokia N95 8GB was backed up a couple of weeks ago. Just as well as I wrote it off this weekend by putting it in the washing machine. I have now bought another Nokia 5228 Orange phone. This one has Nokia PC Suite. The N95 8GB has Nokia N series PC suite. How can I retrieve the content from the old phone with its N series software, and put the contents into my new Nokia 5228?
    Chris Brown

If you have been using the latest version of PCsuite, it may be compatible with the 5228 as well. If it is then it is as simple as restoring th backup to your new phone. Obviously there are things like phone specific settings which cannot be restored. You should at least be able to get the contacts and messages.

  • Nokia N95 not able to send sms.

My nokia N95 is unable to send sms messages. The screen is saying "general memory is full, close some applications and try again". Have deleted all messages from inbox, outbox, photos, etc. But is still not able to send. I am able to recieve sms and calls. Don't understand where to find 'general memory'??? Can anyone help me please?? It has been like this for a week. Thanks

Check in File Manager where your phone thinks memory is being taken up (Options>Memory details) - this will tell you if you have large amounts of memory taken up by thing which can be moved to memory card (such as photos, videos, music files etc.)
If this is not the case, make a backup of your personal stuff (contacts, messages etc.) using PC Suite, leaving out anything that you don't need and also leaving out settings; then reformat your phone with the code *#7370# - the phone will ask you for confirm, then enter the lock code (12345 if you haven't changed it from standard) then shut down and restart - you should be able to send again after this. You can then restore your personal datat to the phone.

  • Nokia N95 smartphone....how smart is it?

hello , I am intending to buy a Nokia N95, the only concern that I have is that how 'Smart' is this smart phone?
what I mean is that I am currently using I-MATE smartphone2 [have experience in Blackberrry curve 8300 and O2 Xda Trion ] their interface is quite easy but more importantly efficient interface and my 'traditional' observation with NOKIA is ...well sluggish interface.I have seen nokia N73, its still NOT that 'efficient and handy' as those.Where does N95 stand? [I dont have hi-speed connection , else I would have searched for a u-tube video etc.]
your openions inthis regard will be invaluable.
    Thanks in advance

Response and ease-of-use are a bit subjective: what I find easy and intuitive as an IT professional, my mother thinks is black magic and what I find fast as an N80 user, you might find glacial.
Your best bet is probably to go into a store and play with an N95. I did and found the response very similar to my N80 - only slightly faster. The interface is of course, almost identical.
Re your question about customising the interface: there's not much you can do. On the main (standby) screen, there are 6 icons and two soft buttons that you can configure to open the applications of your choice, however you can't control what content from the diary or notes appears in the rest of the screen.
It sounds to me like you're looking for a business phone: you might be better off considering one of the E-series as that's more their focus. Unfortunately, with them you don't get the same great toys you do with an N95.
Only E90 seems to be distinctive.Message Edited by kenken on 13-Nov-2007 05:31 PM
