Question: where to buy the Flex Cable for Nokia N95. The 1st version one.(not 8GB). I want to buy the original Flex Cable.

Flex cable should only be replaced by a Nokia Care Point. Trying to replace it yourself will involve disassembling the phone and we are not allowed to discuss that here.

I have a problem on a Nokia N95 8GB, the screen is totally smashed, however i am trying to transfer the contents of 'My Folders' under Messages onto My Computer before sending it to be repaired. Nokia PC Suite has a major flaw in that it cannot transfer the contents of My Folders and since my screen is smashed, i cannot transfer them back to my Inbox. I have downloaded Oxygen Phone Software but it requires me to go into Applications Manager and find thier application that they installed and select USB Connection. If anyone has done this before can you please give me the keyboard instruction? For the wider audience, can anyone instruct me (in key directions) how to transfer the contents of 'My Folders' into my Inbox? Can anyone help me?

If you have a Multi monitor (where you can use the tv cable on N95). Use that to switch between PC Mode / and the N95 Connection Mode and use for guidence on how to backup your data.
I would advise you to use Nokia PC Suite.

Nokia N95 Screen Backlight Problem! Please Help Wi...

Its been about 9 month since I purchased Nokia N95. Last night, when I was watching a video, its screen backlight began to flickr. It turned very dim and then restored. It turned again compeletely off, then came to its normal brightness. I tilted the phone in all ways, hto it gently to know whether some wire inside is loose, open and closed the slider. But the screen went on and off itself. I reset my phone by hard formatting (*#7370#) but of no use. The next day, it did the same. After two days, now it is stable. But I fear it might be started again.
I want to know can this problem be due to some moisture inside my phone or is it because of some hardware proble. And please suggest what should I do. My phone is still under warrenty, but the phone is stable for at least a whole day. Should I carry it to warrenter for repair?
Any suggestions in this regard? Please reply with practical experience and not a hypothetical reply.

N95 Screen has lost its light!

Can someone help me please? For a while now my screen has been cracked as it had beend dropped by my son on many occassions! Now, the light on the screen has completely gone! Everything still seems to be working but the light has gone! Can someone help me out here? I have ordered a new screen but I am wondering if this is more of a problem?

They are most likely marks under the LCD, you should take it to an Apple Store and get it replaced. (Since it's Manufacturer Defect)

Bad power, unshielded speakers, improper hardware installs which lead to loose cables, can all cause this.

Nokia Big Screen has Small Resolution

Am using Nokia Phone Broswer 2 together with Nokia Big Screen for HDMI connectio to TV set. This produces low-resolution iamges on the TV screen, as if the phone browser choses a resolution for its own screen and is not aware of the Big Screen.
I suggest Nokia to improve the integration between these 2 apps

It's not possible to use BigScreen to browse the internet on a TV. It currently only supports videos, pictures and music.

The Logic Board is the motherboard. If you move the display back and forth does it flicker?

I got the N95 and I once used a toothpick to remove some dust between the cover and screen(edges) so now when I look carefull under the cover in sun light I could see that I scratched the rubber in between and the metal behind shows just about 1cm long. I mean it is VERY VERY small, and hard to look at but the rubber has been pushed back, and part of the rubber now is sliced 1cm and you can see the meatal behind it through the opening. But you have to look REALLY REALLY carefully in sun light to see it. So what should I do, should I sell the N95 and get a different mobile or should I just leave as it is...and it does have warranty.

You are very sensitive.
I may have suggested you not to cahnge that unit as it is not in serious trouble or anyone would figure it out hardly.

Nokia N9 screen has a yeloow tint?

I just bought Nokia N9 but I see that the white color isnt true white like other devices
I opened Google page on both N9 and N8 , N8 has a better white while the N9 tends to yellow
However when i look at the N9 screen from corner , this yellowish tint is gone
Is my handset faulty or it is common N9 problem?

Yes, mine also shown a slight tint of yellowish, not too obvious to me until i don't compare it to other phone.

My screen has some lines going through it, it is the old model.

My screen now has a line about 2 inches wide going across it. I have restarted it a couple of times to no avail. It has not fallen that I am aware of.

My touch screen has some white cubes and it doesn't works
