Nokia N96 - Do anyone facing this issue with Softw...

Hi guys,
Hope someone can help on this issue.
After my N96 update to software version 12.043.009.1 RM-247 and my phone have a new issue that it happen very frequent that is my LCD back light is turn off and not wouldn't turn on anymore.:robotsad:
First I set my phone into "Power Saving" mode
Try to run some software like
Web (Nokia)
Mini Opera (Opera)
Music Player (Nokia)
Google Map (Google)
The LCD back light will turn off after awhile if the keypad not active more 10 seconds and I press on the keypad and the LCD back light will turn on again and repeat this and somehow the LCD back will turn off and not turn on anymore. I try to turn off the my phone but it will not totally turn off and the Music Player keys is ON for forever and the phone can not turn on anymore.
I have to remove the battery and put in again and everything just back to normal.
May be someone just have the same issue as me or someone have the answer ?

hiya guys,, i am having a problem with my screen backlight on my nokia n96 have had 2 brand new ones within 4 days of eachother,, when i slide the phone open the backlight only works sometimes !!!! been told by vodafone that every n96 has this problem with no software update avaliable which is nice to be told after you have already taken out a £40 per month contract if anyone has any ideas how to sort this please reply,,, thanks Aiden

for ipad,
if you go to settings-General
You can select between using the side switch to lock rotation or mute. If you select one mute, then the lock rotation icon will show up in the control center. If you select lock rotation, then the mute will show up. THe side switch is then used for the other option.

Has anyone had this issue with CUPS-PDF after update to Yosemite?

It states the PDF is getting made but have looked and no file ever gets created. The printer Queue shows a file but it always pauses the queue and even after resume it does not create a PDF file

It looks like a sandbox issue : In the system log, I can read, just after trying to print something, with no file created (cups-pdf is intended to create a PDF file) :

Anyone having this issue with mobile safari data lists not poping up?

So I have my XML data source lined up and I binder it to my list as a data array. Then, I set up the text boxes so that they dynamically set up. All how it was meant to be right? Well all I get is a little line where the list is supposed to begin. No list or anything. What is interesting is that it works perfectly fine with a normal safari app. Same data, same steps. Difference is that it just doesn't work!? I tried a new project, maybe it's corrupted but again! Nothing! I force streched the box through the CSS file and to my surprise I found that there was nothing there! I thought it might have been something with the appearance but no, didn't work.
Please try this yourself and let me know ith it works for you. Thanks! Oh and if you found a cure PLEASE PLEASE SAVE ME!

I agree, and if you have a large amount of mail on the Gmail servers it might take over 24 hours to sync. I have about 18 GB of mail on Gmail and it took over 24 hours to sync. I went to Mailbox on the menu bar and forced the sync serval times, but I don't believe that speeded up the process. I first upgraded my Macbook Air and compared it with my iMac. There was a big differnce in the Inbox on my Macbook Air for several days. Now a week after the upgrade, all folders appeat to have synced. Next week I will probably upgrade my iMac to Mavericks.

It prompt add mailbox but without option to let us choose either ovi mail, hotmail, yahoo mail, or other (like what we usually have), I just able to key in mail address & password, after click tick then exit. No mail added.

It usually means that you don't have any SIM card inserted and mobile data or wlan connection available. The email app goes online to download a list of available email services for your country. If it can't go online then it just presents the options you mention.

Any one else have this issue with their Mophie?

I am just wondering if anyone has this issue with their Mophie and can offer any tips.
I recieved a Mophie from a friend for my iPhone 4. It has a crack on it that if you put a piece tape on it, part of the case can come out. It works, but you have to hold it basically still in order for it to work.
At this point, it seems like I'm better off giving this Mophie a first class ticket to the trash but I just wanted to see if anyone else out there in the world has had a similar issue and can offer some tips but I'm sure it's beyond repair at this point.

There is something really very very wrong in the land of Cellular Companies!!!!!!! Verizon Wireless is not going to recover from this. August 28th was my time to be able to upgrade my phone. I upgraded to a Samsung Notebook II. Well I have it, its very pretty. SOMEHOW THE PHONES CANNOT BE ACTIVATED FOR USE. THEY CAN GIVE ME NO TIME FRAME AS TO WHEN THIS WILL BE RESOLVED." I will still in the meantime be billed for the phone as if I was using it. I WAS OFFERED NOTHING FOR THIS POOR PLANNING AND EQUIPMENT/PLANNING FAILURE ON THE PART OF VERIZON. I WAS NOT OFFERED ANY DISCOUNT, PRICE LOWERING, GIFT CARD, SKIP A PAYMENT. NOTHING!!!!!!!! I HAVE BEEN A LOYAL CUSTOMER TO THIS COMPANY FOR YEARS AND THIS IS HOW I AM BEING TREATED.

I delete the printer and re-added, but nothing changes.
All the forums topics concerning driver updates reference the App Store, but I cannot find anything there.
Nor I can download the driver from the vendor website, as it also redirects me to the App Store, where nothing happens.

For 10.5/10.6/10.7/10.8, System Preferences>Network, unlock the lock if need be, highlight the Interface you use to connect to Internet, click on the advanced button, click on the DNS tab, click on the little plus icon, then add these numbers...
