DEAR ALL
I HAD DONE A PURCHASE AND THIS IS THE BELOW WHAT I GOT FROM THE SUPPORT

GET ME THE LINK TO THE PROGRAM, BECAUSE I PAID FOR IT I WILL NEED TO DOWNLOAD IT.
hi team
I haven't got a reply from NOKIA YET as to what happened to my tiny teeny purchase for which NOKIA team is showing such timely inefficiency and the emails i sent to your email keeps bouncing back to me.
I need the program at any ways since my child loves it
expecting a proper reply soon.
I will take this on facebook and youtube royally, if there is no action to this.
thank you

I feel the same.  I have sent support request to Nokia few weeks ago and did not get any response except the automatic reply when I lodged the support request.  There are much rooms for Ovi Store to come up with market place of competitor platform.  There are many posts in this forum stated their problem for re-downloading the purchased application.  The funny "SOLVED" solution in these posts seem to be "CONTINEOUS EMAIL" to Nokia Support.  Is this efficient support?

  • Problem with Installing Nokia Ovi Store in E51

I am having problem with installing nokia Ovi store in my E51. Whenever I try to download Ovi store from my E51, it shows a error message that the component is built in and cannot be installed. I dont know wat to do now. Can anyone please give me some advice. Thanks in advance.

    Hi there!
This means that the Ovi Store is currently installed in your E52 phone, what I can suggest is try checking under Application Manager > Installed Application, check if the Ovi Store is there. If you can't see it, try to perform the soft reset (press *#7780# on the main screen of the phone and it will prompt you restore all original phone settings? phone will restart. Press YES and it will ask you for the lock code 12345.) If anything else please reply to this message.
    Hope tis' Help!

  • To Nokia Ovi Store Board Staff about App Prices

I have a question about application purchases in Nokia's Ovi Store. When I wanted to buy a gaming application, it was shown that it costs 0.50 LVL, but after the purchase was made, the bank's purchase history showed me that the application cost 0.82 LVL. Why Nokia's Ovi Store shows misleading prices if this transaction fee for the purchase of the bank was not charged and is free? Then it turns out that all the prices in the Nokia Store is wrong in our LVL currency. I hope you can keep a little more detail to explain these differences and the existence of misleading prices and, of course, I would like to own 0.32 LVL back because payment as you can see there is a surplus.

Hi thanks for your reply to my post. I understand now, but wat a useless app! That site isnt very helpful and is misleading. Wats the point of having it if all its for is that? I thought it was a wallpaper or something! I also downloaded suduko for free and its only a demo. Is there a better site to get apps from safely that are trusted sites?

    @lildrake
Are you referring to accessing OVI Store via browser or application upon device?
AFAIK there is a version of OVI Store circulating for S60 3rd Ed. FP1 as installed to my N95 after "hard reset" but N73 is original S60 £rd Ed.:http://discussions.nokia.com/t5/Online-services-from-Nokia-Nokia/N95-is-not-supported-by-ovi-store/m...
If you are referring to .sis applications sourced outside of Nokia/Ovi Store the Symbian certificate has expired upon a number of these now, you have to reset date upon device to a previous time perhaps start with 2010 and change it back to current date after successful installation; it can unfortunately be a matter of trial and error to hit the right one!

    Hi,
Had a notification that a newer version of Nokia / OVI store was available today (22/02/12 Ver. Ovistore_32prdSrv_1_22_014.sisx) so I downloaded and installed it.....
    BUT....
It stores cache on the phone memory in a directory  imagecache/Juniper and is full of all the icon pictures of apps on the nokia store.........so the phone memory is filling up.
    EVEN WORSE...
If I go into my pictures gallery they are all being displayed there!!!
Can't find any of my own photo's because all these stupid icons/pictures from the store!
Nokia.....you really didn't test this update fully................. did you?

Reinstalled The Device Software from Nokia Suite..........Still no joy

Does anyone know where to get the previous version that was active upto yesterday ??

    Hi hamletboy,
Are you trying to purchase applications through operator billing or credit card?
To let you know, we have 2 types of payment methods for Nokia Store purchases:
First is the Operator Billing which depends on your mobile service provider. If your service provider / mobile operator supports this option, you will have the option available for charging the amount of the application or content you want to purchase to your phone bill or have it deducted from your phone credit.
The operator bill payment will depend on country and operator services as this payment is not available for all users. You can contact your service provider to verify if they support this method.
Moreover, the standard method for the purchase of applications is to use a Credit card. This is the most common payment method. Visa and Master Card credit cards are supported.
Following are the steps to buy credit card applications once logged into the Nokia store:
Select the application you want to buy and select the payment method. When paying by credit card, fill out the payment as follows:
    1. Name on card: In this field you must place the name as it appears on the card including points.
    2. Card Number (no spaces): Include the full number of credit card, no dashes or spaces.
    3. Expiration date (mm / yy): you must place the month and year of expiration of the card, for example: 09/12.
    1. Security Code: Security Code is the last three digits on the back of the credit card.
When you finish filling in the form of payment, select "Continue". Once your purchase has been processed, the system will send you an email with the ID of the transaction for proof of purchase.
    Hope this information helps.

  • N9 - Download error on ovi store

I tried to download some software (File Manager Beta and Battery Usage) but failed.
Ovi store showed "Can't install" "Unable to continue installation due to unresolved error".
I tried both WLAN and 3G but it failed in both way.
How can I install applications from Ovi store?

Hey Akiran! Welcome to the Nokia forums.
Initially, verify that the app has downloaded to your computer. You can do this by searching your computer for the app name as it may have downloaded to an unfamiliar location. If you cannot find the application, delete all files from Temporary internet files -folder, and try download again. You can empty the folder from Internet options:
    1. Close Nokia Ovi store
    2. Open Control panel > (Network and Internet - in Category view of Windows Vista and 7) > Internet options and select General -tab
    3. In Windows XP select Temporary Internet files > Settings > Views files. In Windows Vista and 7 select Browsing history > Settings > Views files
    4. Delete all files from the Temporary Internet files -folder (all offline content will be deleted)
Alternatively check that internet connection is working correctly and that firewall or antivirus application settings does not prevent downloads.
If you you are not able to download the application, please contact Nokia Care, and let us know the application you were trying to purchase and any error messages that were displayed. Check the Contact us -link up in this page for local Nokia Care details.
I hope this will solve your problem!

  • Download not working in ovi store for E5

i am unable to download anythng from nokia ovi store default application even i hav tried diffrent accounts...cant even click on download....cause it doesn't see highlighted...while downloading works when i download from www.store.ovi.com
    plz help

If the download button is grayed out usually it means that the application is still installed on your device although you thought you have already removed it.
For example if the application is installed to memory card and you reset the device, the application won’t be deleted.
Also note that some applications may install multiple binaries and you may need to uninstall all of them before application can be re-downloaded.
Please use the Application manager for uninstalling applications. Application manager can be usually found from Menu -> Settings but please refer to user guide for more details.
From Application manager select Installed applications, choose the application you want to remove and select Options -> Uninstall.
In case of application which has installed multiple binaries ( for example Nokia Maps ODML, Nokia Maps Engine, etc) , uninstall all binaries one by one.
If necessary, reboot your device after the uninstallation and try re-downloading the application from Nokia Store.
Make sure you have internet connection, better to use Wifi if possible.
If this did not resolve the issue, download Nokia Suite to your PC and check if there is available software update for your Nokia E5-00, if there's none try to reinstall the software. To download Nokia Suite click here.

  • Error when installing apps from OVI Store on my x7...

I have trouble installing apps from OVI recently. I pretty often get    ``Installation error``. Ive installed the software update today Its still the same.
    Any segestions ???

I would suggest you try and update to the latest Ovi Store, now called Nokia Store.
With your phone's browser go to the following address:
    http://lr.ovi.mobi/store/new-symbian-3
you should then get the option to install the latest Nokia Store client, and this should include new QT files. Corrupt QT files are usually the problem when installations from the Nokia/Ovi Store fails.

  • Plssss Help, I can't Access my Nokia OVI account.

I use a nokia E6, I've had it since 2011. I've always used and installed apps via my Nokia OVI store untill sometimes early this I discovered it was no longer connecting (as in I could no longer login to my account). The error message is; unable to complete the operation due to connection error, please try again later. And this is what it has been displaying since early this year. I could login to my nokia account via other means like on my PC but, if I try to download mobile apps, it will ask me to connect my phone and when I do, it will require me to login via OVI which will take me back to the error display.
    Please what do I do?
Or how do I access and install apps on my phone.
Even my social app is malfunctioning too, don't know if the problems are linked.
    Thank You, thank you.

Because this could have several causes, please, dial *#0000# and give us your Software version and Product code first.

This was a proxy service provided by Nokia which got turned off …
Which social service(s) did you use? Then, we can give you alternative apps from the Nokia Store.

  • OVI store and SUPPORT is NOT working, I just lost ...

    Dear Sir or Madam,
I want to inform you (altogether with all forum readers) in case you don't know yet, that OVI Store is NOT working!
Just now I had bought 3 games in Ovi Online Store: Chinese Chess Pro II, Reversi Pro II and Gomoku Pro II. I download and installed Chinese Chess, but two other games gave me 'error' on downloading... The 'error' is in my log now, and only option I have now is to BUY it again! So it seems I lost 2x186 RUR, about 8 EUR on this.
I report it immediately through your online support form. Soon afterwards I received returned message from your server, means my e-mail was not delivered. You can see it below.
I have all e-mails confirming transactions made. I can provide it at any time. Nevertheless, I must tell you this is definitely NOT the way of treating customers and doing business. I am waiting for some action to be taken, so at least I'll have the items I paid my money for.

I'm having the exact same problems!!!! So far I have notified Visa, Digg, and any possible Nokia forum I can find to tell people to stop buying product from Ovi.  I'm even contacting the developers directly.
This is a complete failure on Nokia's part.  I would not expect this sort of thing from the worlds largest phone maker..

  • OVI Music and Nokia Music store login issues

    Hi,
Yesterday Nokia rebranded Nokia Music store to OVI Music in India. Earlier I had Nokia Music Store account as OVI login was not supported in Nokia Music store.
So my Nokia Music account and OVI login were different.
Now when login to music.ovi.com and select India as country , I am asked to login.
I can login with my OVI id but then dont see remaining tracks and download history.
I login with my older Nokia Music account and I can see remaining tracks and History.
Some of my friends report that in their case , their Nokia Music and OVI account are merged and tracks and history details are still there. But this has not happened in my case.
Please let me know when Nokia will be able to merge 2 accounts for me. or is there any way I can do it myself? I know that similar thing happened for OVI share and Sports Tracker accounts but they were eventually merged with single OVI account.
    Best Regards,
    Suyog

I have replied this in other thread too-
"Me too having same issue, i got an email from nokia music that our older usernames have been changed with OVI at the end of old username and password remaining the same. As soon as you receive this email u can see your download history of earlier . and i tried to login by my friends account too by putting OVI at the end of username, the balance of tracks was there but download history is not there. So i think we all have to wait for that email to come from nokia music care to confirm about our account being updated with download history."

  • Ovi store not working on my nokia E7-00

i bought a new nokia E7-00 but the problem is my ovi store is not working.its written could not connect or service not available...plz help me what to do..m from pakistan. thanks

    Hi bouzrib
Thank you for posting and welcome to Nokia Support Discussions!
    1. Make sure that the phone runs the latest software version. You can use Nokia Suite to check if there's software update available for your phone, refer to this link: http://www.nokia.com/global/support/software-update/belle-asha-symbian-software-update/
    2. Check the network quality. If the connection is poor the Store application or downloading applications may not work correctly.
Try to use alternate connection types such as WLAN, 3G or GPRS/EDGE. If there is still issues with network coverage, you must contact the network operator for assistance.
    3. Clear the cached memory on the phone
     Go to the device Menu
    Select Web
    Choose Options -> choose Settings
    Click on Privacy data
Choose Clear Privacy data -> Choose Cache.
    4. Uninstall and reinstall your Nokia Store application. for Symbian^3 devices can be downloaded also from http://lr.ovi.mobi/store/new-symbian-3 directly to phone or download the package to your PC and install it via Nokia Suite.
If my post helped you, please don't forget to click on the "White Star" and if it resolved your issue click on "Accept as Solution"

  • Ovi Store - Major major Rant to Nokia - you may wa...

Another classic fail on Nokia's part!
Nokia has announced closure dates for Mosh and Widsets through e-mails and news releases along with the eventual replacement of these services by the new Ovi Store.
However, the smarts at Nokia have not included anything about when the Ovi Store is actually going to launch. Everywhere I read, it says the store is set to launch in May - but what's the date mate!??
A quick search of the Nokia website only adds to the ineptitude: http://europe.nokia.com/A41447096?qt=ovi+store+launch+date&x=19&y=8
In my opinion, the only thing going for Nokia is the fact that S60 has multi-tasking and some of their phones support US 3G (AT&T).
Nokia, you are really trying hard to **bleep** me off:
Customers are screaming what they want to see in the phones - but the honchos are too busy squandering their riches from the past (Programs which work in Silos like Nokia contacts, Friendview, etc).
    Specific rants:
    1. Ditch the cheap plastic cases - seriously! They are obvious and cheesy - N85 is a big fail because of it.
    2. Use capacitive touch - I don't care what the hell your engineers say. Spend one hour with the iPhone and you will see how effortless capacitive is versus resistive.
    3. Promote a standardized look and feel for apps through your SDK. Maintain customer expectation/experience and quality across all apps - created by Nokia or by a third-party developer. Does it even occur to you that’s one primary reason the iphone is so popular?
    4. E71 - the camera is a joke compared to N73 which is three years older. This is not the precedent you want to set. News to you - technology should move forward - not backwards. The iPhone with a 2MP camera without flash takes phenomenally better pictures in daylight – after 3 E71 firmware updates. Get it? Fire the e71 camera division. It’s even worse when Nokia does not even accept they screwed up. And you wonder why Nokia has no market share in the US (hint the 5800 launch fiasco).
    5. Firmware updates across the board!? E61 – just 3 years old – is a business phone. The browser sucks. It crashes all the time or runs out of memory. It’s an older version. UPDATE it! I paid $450 for that. You can’t leave it in the dirt after two years of half-hearted support. Why are your firmware updates 6 months apart? It’s unacceptable. The market and internet is evolving too fast for you to sit on your butt; either reduce the number of devices per service line (that’s another story) if you can’t handle them or hire more/smarter people.
    6. EMEA, NAM, etc f/w update versions. Based on the updates you shoot out every 3-6 months, your QA guys are probably smoking crack. Even obvious fails slip through them. I can understand that hardware may differ over region-specific phones but it doesn’t warrant 3 month gaps between the region specific updates. Learn from your competitors – because these things will eat you. The end of your domination is already here – accept it to change things around. The 5800 alone will not save you and based on your price-range to specs for N97, I won’t count on it either (LED instead of Xenon for a $700 phone?).
    7. Widgets. Do you remember 2 years ago at an announcement – you mentioned that there will be widgets which will let users input their flight details and the widget will alert then about its arrival or departure delays, airport conditions, etc? The services to offer this information are already here –  e.g. FlightStats.com. But I don’t see the widgets anywhere?! What happened? Good idea/selling point but sounds like someone fell asleep. This should have been afocus of multitasking capability in a phone.
    8. E-series. Aah… the award-winning phone that no credible reviewer had the balls to take a pock shot at. Instead, reviewers sounded like they were done a favor by getting to play with review handsets by justifing the poor camera, ‘oh it’s a business phone; its primary function is not to take pictures.’ If that’s the case, then why the hell does it pack a **bleep** e-mail client for 4 years even on its newest iteration? And why does the phone not recognize calendar invites!? Even gmail has worked that **bleep** out. Inexcusable! Do you guys use your own devices in a non-Nokia centric environment at all? I didn’t think so. BTW, Nokia email is a paid for app eventually, it is not a replacement for the inbuilt messaging client. A client and service are two different entities and should be maintained so if you want people to use your devices anywhere. For e.g. your browser doesn’t just work with your servers now, does it?
    9. RAM. Why do your phones even today have miniscule amounts of RAM – usually just enough to get by - even though the prices have dropped exponentially?
    10. Call log – how did you manage to screw this up even more? Call log used to work fine on the E61. But with the FP1 / E71, every incoming call is shown as a ‘cell phone icon’ even if the number is associated with a land line. Also why are you not using different icons for work, home, cell phones? Is that rocket science? BTW, what’s QA been up to – at this point you might want to call a narcotics raid on them. Don’t get me wrong, you had it working right a few years back. I know you’re new to it but repeat after me: technology should move forward - not backwards – with time.
    11. Call log 2 – Where does all the information related to the call log get hidden? Because when I used synble, I noticed that ir was able to extract a hell of a lot more information from the call log than the phone's client. This is just sick. Winmo phones allow you to store THIRTY days worth of information. Not only that, I can go into a contact, and view my call history for that contact including durations for every call as long as it was all within the 30-day limit. Obviously synble has managed to pull a lot of it out from my E71. But shouldn't this have been part of your phone? So tell me, do you use any phones from your competitor at all? It might be wise to make a few purchases now. Plus if you want to learn from your competitior, you have to use it as your primary phone for 30 days and then go back to a Nokia and see what you can improve. This is the EASIEST way to improve/add features without investing into any 'smart' people for R&D and probably should have been your first step.
    12. Call log 3 – You know how right after you’ve called a contact or received a call, you want to try to call that contact again but at another number from the contact profile? Well guess what – you have to go through the address book to look at the other numbers. Yes, you can’t open the contact profile or alternate calling numbers from the call log itself. **bleep**? Talk about basic UI workflow/routing design. At this point, I’m beginning to think you have someone on the design/QA team with a mild narcolepsy problem.
    13. Contacts – Have you ever noticed how ‘easy’ it is to ‘delete’ a contact but hard to undo? I would think by the 5th iteration of S60 you would have got that down to a pat. I can hit the ‘back’ key and get a prompt to hit delete a contact. Nice. But if it’s a mistake, then what? I’m outta luck until the next time I sync. Plus, if my phone is set to sync automatically, then I will lose the information from my PC as well if it comes in range with my computer (I use Bluetooth and sutosync) or if I forget about restoring the information before I re-sync. Did it EVER #$%# occur to you that if you want to make deletion easy you have to make recovery just as easy, huh? Didn't think so. I am now beginning to think, Nokia folks secretly don't use their own phones.
    14. Contacts 2: While we’re at it. If you begin to edit a contact and mid-way you decide to ‘cancel’ or discard all changes made to the contact (you haven’t saved yet). There is no way to do that. Seriously. I am sure many of you have noticed that by now – on FP1 at least – which is not that old and has seen tens of updates. From Nokia’s perspective, you probably want to ‘save’ all information on-the-fly as a user is typing to prevent accidental loss; which is a good thing. But would it kill ya' to also add a function to ‘discard’ all changes and revert back to previously saved version of the contact on the phone. It’s not rocket science again. UAT (User Acceptance Testing) – That should have caught this. You might want to schedule a talk with the department head.
    15. Standard bookmarks in the browser that can’t be deleted. You asked for the hacking of your firmware. Because those bookmarks are useless and have never offered anything REMOTELY useful. They should have been removed from the browser by the second iteration 4 years ago. Or you should have built a team to develop content that's not discontenting. Besides, what’s wrong with allowing people rearrange those bookmarks? Plus the morons had to go right ahead and build a SEPARATE bookmark item for each link instead of putting them all in one folder called ‘Nokia’s junk’? You should be ashamed of yourselves. Instead of glorifying what you've accomplishe, how about spending some time over the failures? Because it looks like they are being carried over iteration after iteration.
I can go on forever, but I am gonna stop here – cause as usual – you are probably not listening. But for your sake I hope you do!
Times have changed; it’s not just about the hardware anymore – but more about the software. Also, if you can’t make your software to interact with non-nokia phones over the internet then you’re wasting your time (Nokia Friendview, etc). There are many platforms to compute - the internet has always been social and your time as a leader has already been squandered.
